Question for the ffxiv fandom!

How did you all get into the game? I love hearing everyone's stories about how they found the game.

SO. story in the tags #i like many people in the shb era discovered ffxiv through shenpai #id seen content from it before but it wasnt until her shb video specifically that i got invested #i did trial for like 2 weeks before i started bothering my gf to play with ke #and then he bought me the entire game up to shb bc it was on sale. and thus nafru was born and my trial character was abandoned (rip) #but it gets BETTER #bc my other friend and static partner had apparently had a big xiv phase a few years back #and had the anni edition #so when he saw that i was fixated. the madlad went and reactivated his acx #and now we have a high ranking FC with three active members and a small house in Ishgard #and we plan on playing Dawntrail together (we played Endwalker on and off together too but launch was... messy iykyk)
