As a fan of Symphogear I am upset by the final frame of this meme. (Not really, but hey). Still if you can GO WATCH SYMPHOGEAR! It’s awesome and Hibiki is the most kickass cinnamon roll ever.

Our Leading Man
Name: Victor Draconis aka Fictionerd or Fic Age: ?? (Time isn’t really a thing here) Species: Silver Dragon Knowledge Construct Bio: Victor Draconis is the guard dog of a place known as “The Akashic Library”. He was created for this purpose by his elder sisters Keara Weiss and Justine Beacon. He keeps the library safe from all threats. These range from creepy elder things that crawl up out of the Akashic Record to mortals from the various multiverses who try to access the knowledge in The Record. He is a massive nerd, and this was by design. Keara and Justine wanted him to be a Dragon to allow Draconic Greed to fuel his devotion to the Library’s protection, but wanted the thing he hoarded to be something benign and mellow out his other draconic aspects. So they chose stories. Victor created for himself a magical object called “The Book of All Fiction” that acts as a conduit through which he views the stories he loves so much.  Special Powers & Tools Shapeshifting: Fic can shapeshift into basically anything he wants, but mainly uses this power to change between human, half-dragon, and draconic forms. Magic: Having access to the knowledge of all sapient life has allowed Fic to learn how to bend reality. He largely uses this ability to use magical powers he’s seen in various fictional settings. His arsenal is as eclectic as his personality. Akashic Seal 1/3: The ultimate ability Fic possesses, and a last resort. If ever there is a threat to the library too great for him to handle he and his sisters can perform this ritual spell to trap the threat in layer upon layer of wish fulfilling sub-realities. A prison designed so that the person imprisoned wouldn’t want to leave. When he uses this power without the backing of his sisters the cracks in the reality created become a lot easier to detect and escape.
The Book of All Fiction: A multipurpose magical device that allows Fic to read books, listen to audio, watch video, surf the internet, and basically perform any task which connects him with fiction. A pretty nifty book. It is also pretty massive.

Personally I’d rather have a hopeful ending. Happy or sad give me hope and I’ll be content.
i am SO SICK of unhappy endings. idk about anyone else but the #1 reason i like fiction is because everything can always work out no matter how bad it is. “what if the good guys lost” shut up. you are so fucking boring. give me happy endings or give me nothing

Yeah... Building off the dehydration comment: Exhaustion will kill you just as dead as a zombie could. Though I can agree that some decent plate mail could make scavenging runs a might bit safer.
why don't people in zombie apocalypse stories ever just wear suits of armor? you think any zombie is gonna get their shitty rotting jaws through this?
Tumblr media
I'm gonna rip and tear my way through the zombie apocalypse completely unharmed because none of the undead hoards will be able to get through my plate mail

Since someone already burst the happy feels bubble let me just put everything in this thread out of its misery. 1) Phantump most likely AREN’T the literal souls of children who got lost in the woods. 2) Even if they were, not all of them would be because, like every pokemon, Phantump can reproduce. 3) To the fellow who burst the bubble: The whole “It’s so horrid that pokemon are captured and forced to fight against their will and society in the pokemon world is so blase about it” line is old, tired, and has been disproven in so many ways. From pokemon able to freely leave their balls on a whim, to them actually abandoning abusive trainers. No Phantump, child’s soul or otherwise, is going to be imprisoned and forced to fight entirely against their will. If’n they want out they go and there’s not a damn thing some poor schmucky fleshbag can do about it.
Dude, I just realized, in Pokemon, they probably use Phantump sightings to local searches for missing people. But it’s like a double edge sword, because you know you’re looking for a body at that point.
Like imagine officer jenny having to report to the family “… I’m sorry… but there’s been a Phantump reported in the area.”

Uhmmmm Does no one remember the Canalave library book about picking clean the bones of a pokemon caught in the river? People eat Pokemon. Pokemon eat Pokemon. I imagine there’s far more humane harvesting practices in the Pokemon world, but it’s a thing that happens.

Late Night/Early Morning Thoughts
Going to Beckley tomorrow so sleep is spotty. I'm sitting here in the dark listening to "Non Stop" from Hamilton, and I've had an epiphany. I'm a Burr and I desperately want to be a Hamilton. The lines that cut me deepest are the ones about "Write day and night like you're running out of time." It hits me with a pang of guilt because I SHOULD be writing "like I need it to survive." But I'm not. I've been doing a lot better mentally and emotionally lately. Yet I'm still afraid to chase that oldest of my passions. Writing, creating stories, making art with the written word. Sharing my thoughts and feelings with the world. I think a lot of it is that I feel in the climate of the world at current I'll be seen as vile, but if I wanted to follow Hamilton's example (At least the musical character anyway) I shouldn't be so worried about those perceptions. Even still, my desire to keep my friends close leads me into the Burr state of mind "I'm willing to wait for it". All this, I guess, culminates in the question of "How do I balance these characters to feel better about myself?"

“I distrust people who’ve found a way to compensate for the lack of physical and emotional cues in text-based communication.” This isn’t the worst take I’ve ever seen, but it could still use some revisions.
I’m honored that you’re quoting me, but puzzled as to why you sent it to me as an ask.

The true deadly sins
Lust
Not a sin- feeling sexual attraction, sex with consenting partners, masturbation, consuming pornographic media, having several sexual partners, sex before mariage. IT’S A SIN WHEN- the person projects lust onto an unwilling recipient person and does not take into account their wants or consent. Rape, harassment, sexual assault, catcalling, dick pics.
Gluttony
Not a sin- food, enjoying food, cooking, eating sweets, eating meat. In the larger sense, accumulating material things you enjoy, like books or collectibles or whatever.  IT’S A SIN WHEN- It deprives other people of what they need.
Envy
Not a sin: Wanting things you see other people have, like money, power, fame. IT’S A SIN WHEN: This is how you define people, and stop respecting them as humans. It’s a sin when you use them for what they have and what they can bring you.
Greed
Not a sin: Wanting financial security, working hard for the things you want.  IT’S A SIN WHEN: Your own financial growth depends on keeping other people impoverished and suffering.
Pride
Not a sin: Being proud of your accomplishments, liking your looks, dressing up IT’S A SIN WHEN: It stops you from accepting your faults and seeing how you can be wrong, not admitting that you can better yourself.
Wrath
Not a sin: Righteous anger at situations, being mistreated, seeing other people suffer, at the injustice of the world. Self-defense. Revolution.  IT’S A SIN WHEN: Violence towards defenceless people, hitting your partner or your kids,.  Violence fuelled by intolerance and bigotry.
Sloth
Not a sin: Resting. Sleeping. Taking a day or a year off. Being unproductive. Playing videogames. IT’S A SIN WHEN: You stay inactive when action is required. When people need you and you’d rather do nothing.

I’m pretty sure the language we’re typing in could use some of the mockery you’re claiming should only go to French. English is still a Franken-language that performed mitosis to form two separate yet equally cobbled-together versions of itself.
no language should be mocked other than french
