So…..I’m late to the game…but I finally started binge reading your latest AkkAye “Best Laid Plan” and oh my god, I’m cracking with how much a disaster himbo Akk is (and I mean it with so much affection and love) 😂

And Aye my love - he is so far gone for Akk. Luckily Akk’s plan to “learn” from Aye align nicely with what Aye wants anyway

hi sarah! okay admittedly this is very random but couldn't resist sharing - as a result of BLP currently occupying all my spare brain space rent free, i'm now in the "every song i listen to reminds me of them" stage of me constantly thinking about akk and aye from your fic 😂 and right before i read your update last weekend, the song 'animal' by neon trees came on my shuffle randomly and although i know that song is technically over a decade old now and i'd heard it a million times before, it took me way off guard and it felt like i was hearing the song for the first time because i realized it reminded me soooo much of akkaye from BLP!

the crazy thing is that the first time i'd listened, i was imagining the song from aye's pov, maybe because his pov was most fresh on my brain at the time? but then i got a chance to read your update from akk's pov and i lost my mind all over again because it's JUST as perfect for akk's pov too?! it totally blew me away because there i was, already thinking about the song in relation to the 2 of them and next i'm reading about akk quite literally talking about having a desire to consume/wild animals/wanting to be eaten himself etc. and i'm like ????!?!

god the song is so perfect for them!! especially some of the lyrics like "I kinda want to be more than friends", or "we play pretend" or "No I won't sleep tonight" (a consistent for the 2 of them this fic 😂), or "say goodbye to my heart tonight" (which aye does every time he can't help but be with akk even though he's pining 🥺) vs. the parallel of the other version of that same line in the song that sounds the same is "take a bite of my heart tonight" (basically akk the entire first half of the last chapter haha) - there's more but i'm refraining because then i'd just end up posting the entire lyrics and my line-by-line "here's how this relates to BLP" detective-string-board-analysis in your poor askbox 😂

anyway, just wanted to share because i hope it gives you BLP akkaye feelings too <3 and it's the perfect song vibe for the fic too, all upbeat and rom-comish - but also horny af hahaha. thank you for writing this fic, i quite literally look forward to sundays every week, and it's always a highlight every week. can't wait for this one!!

Okay, first of all, this ask gave me an existential crisis because you said "Animal" was a decade old and I was like, "surely not, that came out five years ago at the most." And turns out we're both wrong because it came out FOURTEEN YEARS AGO and now I need to have a lie down.

Also, me re-listening to this song and looking up the official lyrics was the first time (in 14 years apparently!) that I realized he's saying "take a bite of my heart tonight" instead of "say goodbye to my heart tonight."

So, anyway, that was a roller coaster.

But yes, this is actually the perfect BLP song. I especially like the line, "You're just a cannibal and I'm afraid I won't get out alive." I tend to use very cannibalistic metaphors to describe sex and passion, which I should maybe talk to a therapist about or something...

i think it is very appropriate that italians have two sayings to describe how FK are always attached to each other. One says that "they are attached like a mussel to a rock" and the other (my favorite) is "they are attached like a shirt to a butt".

I rewatched 10 Things I hate about you yesterday (for obvious reason, lol) and I wondered... do you think the karaoke stage means there will be a Can't take my eyes off of your moment?

P'Jojo does seem to love a good karaoke moment and I will forgive the amateur singing as long as we get to see Dunk serenading Joong while being chased around by a security guard.

But I actually just finished re-watching 10 Things myself, so I'm going to use this ask as an excuse to list some other things about the movie that I hope make it into The Heart Killers:

I adore Bianca. She's such a spitfire. She doesn't want to beat you up—she just wants to be adored—but she will if you make her mad. I think this will translate well to Bison. He doesn't want to be an assassin, but he wants his father and brother to love him, so he does the job anyway.

Bianca's also got major bimbo energy and I wouldn't mind seeing Khaotung in his himbo era. A little dumb, a little slutty, a lot beautiful.

As soon as Cameron lays eyes on Bianca, he falls instantly in love and I need to see that look on First's face. I want Kant to be down bad from the beginning and I want Bison to make him work for it. It's interesting because in the movie, Bianca is using Cameron to get with someone more popular instead, which makes me wonder if Bison is using Kant in The Heart Killers as well or if they've cut that part of the plot out entirely.

"Tell me something real. Something true."

Also, I know Bison and Fadel's father is, like, an assassin or whatever, but I really enjoyed him in the original and wouldn't mind seeing more of their father-son relationship on screen.

This is obviously just based off of the movie because I haven't read the play since 8th grade, but I ordered a copy and will adjust my expectations accordingly once I get a chance to re-read.

I have to say, I myself don't have many peers in gmmtv, it's always been just KSOGTN. So when we separated, I was quite lonely, because everyone else could still work as a unit, while I was going solo on my own. P'Sing, too, for that matter. So for us to reunite... In our personal lives we still see each other from time to time, but in terms of work I think both of us don't want to be lonely anymore. I feel like now the timing is right. I finally came to the conclusion that I'll need to halt my plan of further studies for now. And if I'm not going abroad to study just yet, working the same old way still makes me happy. I like working where it feels comfortable, and being here makes me comfortable. I don't need to go anywhere else. ❶ ❷ ❸
