Sidon X Reader Holiday Headcanons

It's going to be your first Christmas with no snow. Instead, it's expected to rain. As a hylian, you were used to having a white Christmas. However, this is to be expected for being in Zora's Domain for the first time during the holiday season.

However, do not fret, Sidon is here to make sure your Christmas is a memorable one! The minute you step into the domain with your luggage to stay for the holidays, he is the first to greet you! Sidon also did his research on hylians and their holidays, so he's confident in making you feel like you're right at home!

The first night, when you're fully unpacked and about to pass out on your bed, you hear a voice, multiple actually. You could only make out Sidon's voice. You look to where the source of voices are and it's Sidon leading a Christmas carol, singing traditional hylian songs. The songs were clearly butchered, however you could tell him and the few other Zora were putting all of their effort into it. Little did you know... Sidon had arranged for you to be followed by a group of Christmas Zora Carolers while he was away for the day. It was... Something to say the least.

The next day, you had unpacked a few ornaments to decorate with. However, you have no place for them. As revenge, you thought of an evil idea. You placed all of your ornaments on Sidon's head. Whenever Sidon walked around, you could hear jingles. You know what they say, tall people make great Christmas trees! You even got Dento to make a tree topper for the top of Sidon's head. Sidon didn't seem to mind at all however. He seemed to enjoy the dangling decorations! All until it came to training his guards. The guards couldn't stop getting distracted over the jingly ornaments on Sidon's head!

Sidon had to return the so-called tree topper that you had given him. It kept falling off his head. He compensated by claiming "Why would I need a star on my head when you are the only star I see?" He was back at it again with the cheesy pickup lines.... Again....

The night before Christmas, You had offered to paint Sidon's nails. You painted vibrant Christmas colours that were glittery and shiny. Zoras loved their bright colours and ESPECIALLY shiny things, so he was quick to wag his fin in excitement seeing them. He had no idea that painting nails was a thing. He was very pleasantly surprised, he's definitely going around The Domain and telling EVERYONE about it. You might have just started a small business!

When it came to Christmas, Sidon gave you an amulet to wear so you could swim together in the waters while holding your breath. In return, you had gotten Sidon the one thing that's been on his wishlist since you asked. Hearty Bass!! Sidon absolutely loved his hearty bass, and receiving food was almost like a proposal to him. He has no shame in swallowing the fish whole. Man's gotta eat!

When the night is over, Sidon offers to take you to a cliff edge where you can see snow falling in the distance. You had to give Sidon your scarf as it did get rather cold out. There's a bright pink hue in his cheeks as he gives you a cheeky smile, as the snow falls on the silent night.

Sidon X Reader Angst <Part One>

"What the hell do you mean you're getting engaged?!" You yelled out, with your voice cracking. Pure anger flooded your mind like a raging river. It felt like every fiber in your being was ripped to shreds. You wanted to believe that this was some kind of joke that he was pulling on you. You wanted him to take back his words and never speak them again. Despite your quick, and rather spiteful response; you truly had not registered what he had said.

"Darling... Please.!" Sidon cried out to you very abruptly. His arms extended out in motion, as if he was trying to explain the situation to you more clearly. He paused for a moment, his mouth felt completely dry, he didn't know what to say. His golden irises couldn't even glance into your (e/c) ones. There were visible tears coming down his face, he felt frozen. You were reacting purely from emotions yourself. Logic had left the quiet meadow upon Ploymus Mountain long ago. Even the crickets had fallen silent to your raised tone.

"For what we had for years meant nothing to you?! How long did it take for you to decide that someone else was better than me, huh? A month, a week? Sidon! I loved you!" You had roared out to him, tears were starting to fall from your eyes yourself. Your entire relationship with Sidon felt like one giant lie. Everything you had together was flashing before your eyes. His words and actions that once moved you, quickly were suppressed and turned into apathy. Sidon was completely frozen, his eyes widened at your words. He felt a strong pang in his chest, as if he was shot with an arrow. He stepped toward you, trying his best to maintain himself in the moment.

"You're not listening to me! Will you just hear what I have to say before coming up with assumptions?!" He responded in a rather harsh tone. It was now your turn to be thrown off. Sidon was clearly overwhelmed and hurt himself. You had never seen this from him before. He was normally so confident and cheerful, You stared up at him in silence before speaking again.

"Assumptions?! You're getting engaged to someone when we have been together for years, Sidon!! You never had once proposed to me, and you expect me to act normal about this?!" You yelled back, hardening your tone. You started taking steps back from him, as he kept walking towards you.

"No! I just wanted you to hear what I-"

"I'm not listening to someone who just willingly decides to throw an entire relationship away like trash!" You snapped with venom in your tone. You weren't yourself, you were still not processing anything and it showed. You took one more step back before Sidon had shot his hand, quickly grabbing your wrist in a extremely tight grasp. He looked completely angered. You had grunted as he pulled you close to him as he was glaring down at you. He bared his sharp teeth towards you. He took multiple steps back dragging you along. "Sidon?! What the actual hell-" you started before he spoke.

"You are not listening! Would you just look!" He spun you around, you looked to see the edge of the cliff to where you were originally stepping back. Your emotions had paused for a moment as your heart skipped a beat. "You almost walked straight off that cliff!" He snapped, clearly angry from your words, even more so that you weren't paying attention to your surroundings.

"Sidon..." You mummered quietly. You had no words to throw back at him. He sighed closing his eyes for a moment, before looking into your eyes finally. His sunset colored irises finally softened.

"Now that I finally got your attention... Just let me explain. I wanted to propose to you for so long... The engagement is an arranged marriage that my father created a while back. I had intended to propose to you, however because of this unforeseen situation I couldn't. Can you now understand what I'm trying to say?" His voice was very tender and soft. Just thinking about it crushed him. The eye contact was very short lived, as he couldn't bear to see the pain in your own eyes.

"Sidon... If this is all true, what about what the Zoras were saying in the domain? The elder Zoras kept talking about how you had feelings for the supposed 'Lady Yona'... I suppose I never heard about it being arranged though. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions." You rambled in a more softened tone yourself. However, your heart had stopped when you had mentioned the name 'Yona' after seeing Sidon's expression. He turned his head away from you before speaking.

"Lady Yona was my childhood friend, (Y/n)..." He had briefly paused, thinking back to his past. "Before you and I had crossed paths, I had complicated feelings towards my dear childhood friend. I've always seen her as an older sister. However, as we had both gotten older, things had started to become more complex between us. There was a moment where we hadn't spoken for such a long time because of everything that happened. Then, I fell in love with you." He said before looking back at you. "Since the engagement was announced, it was the first time I had heard from her..." He finished. His expression itself was purely complicated. Your response was almost instant.

"Do... You still like her?" You asked with dread in your tone, waiting for the worst answer to come. Sidon took a moment to think before he spoke, as if he was trying to pick his words carefully.

"That line... Was always blurred for me. I never had time to unpack my feelings towards her. Whenever I saw her, I could only think about the times I had spent with her and how she reminded me so much of my beloved sister. It would always hurt me to think about it, so I would dismiss it. At a time I would have said yes, however you know clearly that my love for you is strong. Whatever I might have felt in the past doesn't matter now." He said with raw emotions. Sidon felt beyond vulnerable speaking the truth to his lover, like he had just opened an old wound that was scarred over. You simply nodded in silence. There was a long moment of silence between the both of you. You, yourself were trying to find the right words to say back.

"Sidon, didn't your father even take into account the fact we are a couple?" You pondered. He gave you a look of uncertainty in response.

"My father did know that, yes. While we have been a couple, I never directly asked for his blessing to marry you. I didn't realize that he had intentions of stepping down as King... Hence why the arranged marriage was probably made." Sidon responded, thinking to himself. You slowly nodded, a little hurt at this new revelation. You had realized that all of this was from many miscommunications. He continued with a saddened tone. "I unfortunately don't know if I can reverse the arranged marriage, as it was made for political reasons, between my Domain and Lady Yona's Domain. Attempting to stop such a thing would certainly cause major consequences." Sidon had finished, filled with sorrow. You started to feel like crying again, however this time no tears could be formed from your face.

"I wish you could just escape from your royal duties so we could be together..." You mumbled, starting to fantasize an idea where the both of you ran far away from Zora's Domain just to be together. You could live in a rural area in Hyrule, perhaps by a lake, or even at Lurelin Village, the ocean was there... However you knew that this would never be a possibility.

"I would have loved nothing more, darling... However, my people are also important to me. To leave the Domain would be to betray them." He spoke quietly. You both continued to stand in silence once again before you spoke one last time.

"Then we need to find a way to solve this... I refuse to give up on us."

Sidon X Tall Zora Reader

Sidon has always been naturally taller than his other fellow Zora, so he's always used to having to look down at everyone except for his own father.

He had met you by accidentally bumping into you, as cliché as that is. He was immediately looking down to apologize to whoever he bumped into, however was shocked to see that it happened to be another Zora at his height.

"My eyes are up here, your majesty." You would tease, he couldn't help but be completely shocked and apologizes profusely. He'll need a moment to process the fact he's looking at someone at his own eye level. You swore you could see some kind of sparkle in his eyes.

Sidon is VERY flustered too, mind you!

Once apologies are put to rest, he's IMMEDIATELY excited over the fact that you happened to be his height, and he's VERY vocal about it too!! He won't stop talking about how surprising it is to meet someone at his eye level. He's rambling at this point!

If you guys end up together, you both will literally be the talk of the Domain! You both are a power couple in height to everyone. Some of the elder Zora will even tease that you both will have kids who will manage to surpass both of you in height.

A lot of the younger Zora will ask you both for "uppies!" Tumbo and Keye will mainly be the ones asking to be lifted up. They like to ride on the back of your and Sidon's shoulders! They like to pretend to be as tall as both of you!

sidon and his partner go to the beach!

(I've been meaning to write something like this for a while! It looks like Sidon finally gets his beach episode!! I haven't been to Lurelin Village to see what it looks like in ToTK, but I'll pretend things are fine there lol.)

Sidon with S/O - Beach Day Headcanons

After the stress with Sidon ascending to the throne of Zora's Domain, and the upheaval of Hyrule; you both needed to relax. You both planned a day trip to Lurelin Village. What better place to ease up than a beach itself?

When you arrive, it's already blazing outside. You're convinced that you took a vacation to the Gerudo Desert instead. You both opt to find shade before going into the water. You were burning up, however considering Sidon was a Zora; you were more concerned for his well-being.

Sidon insists he's fine, however you insist even more that's not the case. Luckily you were prepared, you had brought him moisturizer to make sure his scales wouldn't dry out.

You helped Sidon get the moisturizer upon places he couldn't easily reach. You enjoy placing the moisturizer on the top of his head the most. He allows you to take off his head pieces which is a rare sight, one that you appreciate. It feels like a small moment of vulnerability between you two.

In return, Sidon will help you as well. He'll apply sunscreen on your back. It doesn't take much for him to place it on your back, due to how big his hands were. He's always careful to make sure his claws don't accidentally scrape you.

Since you both had chosen to seek shade under a palm tree, you decided to get some palm fruit. Sidon offered to shake the tree to get the fruit down, however you were determined to fetch the fruits yourself.

You climbed the palm tree with all the stamina you could muster. You managed to grab a palm fruit, before slipping upon the side of the bark. You were quick to grab onto one of the leaves. However, you ended up taking them down with you. Luckily your shark in shining armour was just below you! He was quick to catch you. However, poor Sidon got smacked in the head by one of the palm fruits falling down.

He'll be alright though, he got plenty of forehead kisses from you to help him feel better!

The poor palm fruits didn't survive the fall. You both decided to get into the water at that point.

The currents of the ocean very easily swept you off your feet when you had gotten into the water. It was hard for you to keep your balance, so Sidon was sure to stay close to you the entire time.

He had held your hand anytime a moderate wave came to make sure you didn't lose your balance. His grip was rather firm, the only one who could sweep you off his feet is him, of course!

If you're feeling brave enough to take on the waves, you'll get on Sidon's back to try to surf the waves. Sidon gets beyond excited at the idea of trying to tame the waves. You sometimes swear that NOTHING scares this fishy man.

There will be a point where Sidon might go deep underwater just to find the most eye catching shell for you. He wants to make sure that you have something to remember this day by!

While Sidon is busy finding you a shell, you'll likely be making dinner in return! You made the two of you roasted bass by a small campfire nearby!

Sidon had offered to fan you off at one point. He grabbed one of the leaves from the palm tree you fell out of earlier. While you had agreed, the leaf he grabbed just happened to be a korok leaf. You were clueless about this unfortunately... The leaf had almost sent you flying into the sand by the strong gust of wind. In a way, this could be considered Sidon's revenge on you from the falling palm fruits! Sidon was very mortified by how much power such a leaf had.

At the end of the day, you both had simply sat out by the sand, cuddling and watching the sun set over the now calming ocean waters. As cliché as it was, you were purely mesmerized by its beauty. However, Sidon was more mesmerized by how you looked in the rays of the sunset.

He'll be sure to tell you just how (pretty/ handsome/ gorgeous) you are and how lucky he is to have you. The moment you both shared here in Lurelin Village will surely stay with you both for a long time ahead.

(What a lovely idea! I would love to! Since you had also requested a different one, asking how they met; I'll combine them in this one!)

Sidon With a Fem!Mermaid S/O

How you met:

Sidon had first spotted you when he was at Tarm Point. What he had initially thought was a hylian in the water, turned out to be something else. For he had seen your face for a moment, before you dove into the water, revealing your vibrant scales and fins. He was completely shocked at the sight of you. He had never witnessed someone like that before. It felt like a dream to him, surreal. However, it was only for a moment.

He thought that he would be able to shrug it off, however he was wrong. He was consumed by your being in his sleep. You were in his dreams, appearing as a radiant, yet mysterious blur.

This went on for a week before he decided to return to Tarm Point only to find that you weren't there. Throughout the following weeks he kept coming back, however you still were nowhere to be seen.

He had given up on looking for you until there were rumours in the Domain. Multiple had claimed to see something at Lanayru Bay.

Many of the Zora made comments.

"I thought it was a hylian at first, before I saw her having the lower half of some kind of sea creature!"

"Maybe it's a Zora-Hylian hybrid?"

"I originally thought she was potentially a threat, however the way she was washed up on the bay, I didn't think so."

This had completely alarmed Sidon, he was quick to go to Lanayru Bay just to see you, and make sure that you were okay.

He finally saw you after weeks of thinking about you. He was quick to return you to Zora's Domain; to the infirmary. Zora Healers had taken care of you immediately. After a couple of days, you finally woke up.

Turns out you had spotted him too with the same feelings. You wanted to see him more closely. Which is how you wound up on Lanayru Bay, away from the ocean.

Over the next few weeks, you both got to know each other. You both shared personal stories, about your lives, and how it was different living in the ocean v.s. the domain.

Sidon was the first to confess to you. He first found himself falling in love by how he would stare at your (f/c) scales. How you gently swayed your tail fins in the water. When you gently touch his fins, comparing it to your own. It was the small things that really lured him to you.

Headcanons:

Sidon absolutely loves to go swimming at the Reservoir with you. He likes doing different tricks in the water for you to watch, vice versa.

If Sidon playfully splashes you... Oh man is he in for something. You use your tail fin and absolutely send a giant splash back, the power you have in it SCARES him.

Sidon will find himself staring at you when the rays from the sun hits your scales and glistens in the light. He can't help but find himself lost in your vibrant beauty.

He's fairly embarrassed by this, however you absolutely enjoy teasing him about it. The first few times when he spoke with you, he would forget that you didn't have "legs". He would usually just see you from the waist up in the infirmary's water. He would think you're a hylian for a hot minute.

"Aren't you coming, (Y/n)?"

"Do you think I can just walk out of the water?"

"..."

Whenever you go somewhere with him that involves leaving the water, he always picks you up bridal style and holds you close.

At night, when he's stressed from his duties, you will sing him lullabies to help him sleep. Sometimes you would also just tell him stories about your home in the ocean. The different kinds of fish, coral, etc. This always puts him at ease.

Sidon absolutely loves it when you wrap your tailfin around him. It never fails to make him feel flustered.

Hello there! I wanted to say thank you for 100 followers! It's really sweet that you guys enjoy the content I've been writing! All of the notes, comments, requests, and support have been pleasant! I apologize for not being active here for the past few weeks. I've been having a hard time with some personal matters going on in my life. I also had stated this before; I've also been struggling with my RSI.

Where Fate Leads (Sidon X Reader Angst)

The sounds of water rippled throughout the architecture of Mipha's Court. The night was solemn, like the gentle rain falling from the gloom. Sidon stared upon Mipha's statue lost in thought. He pondered many different possibilities. What if his beloved sister was still alive? Would she have married Link? Would that have enabled the possibility of him getting to marry you instead? While the Zora had gained respect for Link, they had not opened their hearts to the idea of any other Hylians coming into the picture. Sidon had only ever seen Yona as a sister to him, you were the love of his life. His face was filled with so many different complex emotions. Words alone couldn't explain the pain he felt.

"Sister... I wish you were here to give me advice..." Sidon's voice was close to breaking. His fists were tightly clenched, as he was doing the best he could to maintain himself. "It's not fair, why must fate be so cruel?" He spoke quietly, soon shifting his gaze to the ground. He could see his own reflection being distorted from the rainfall. He was trying hard to control his own emotions. He didn't want anyone to see him in such a disheveled state. He soon heard a voice echo through his whole being.

"Sidon..." You had whispered gently, he immediately turned to you. He had lost his composure at the sight of you. He felt tears starting to pour from his golden irises.

"It's simply not fair, (Y/n). The only thing fate had ever done to me was take away the things I love." He had said in a broken tone. You had never heard or seen him like this before. He was clearly unhappy with his engagement to Yona. You approached him, softly grasping onto his tightened fists.

"Well, fate brought us together for a brief moment though, hasn't it? Isn't that at least a good thing?" You asked, trying to comfort him. You were beyond broken yourself but you wanted to be strong for him. You didn't want him to feel anymore pain. Sidon's hands had loosened a bit, before he moved them to hold yours.

"It's cruel nonetheless, my love... I'm always supposed to see the good in everything, but I can't see the good in fate right now, not when it's being the thing that's going to tear us apart." He cried to you, beginning to pull you into his arms. He held you close and tight, as if you would vanish if he ever let go.

"Sidon, I'll always love you. Even if you marry another. Even if we can't be together in this lifetime..." You murmured, feeling yourself wanting to cry as well. Sidon then pulled away.

"No... I refuse to let fate get in between us!" Sidon stated with a firm tone.

"Sidon, you can't just alter the arrangement. The Zora don't even like seeing us together..." You said trying to reason with him, you didn't want to watch his reputation crumble either. You wanted the best for him, your feelings didn't matter at this moment. This is what you told yourself anyway.

His saddened gaze turned into a stern one, eyeing you. "My people are important to me, (Y/n)..." Sidon starts, his voice picking up a bit more. "However, this supposed fate is not real to me... Not anymore. What's real to me is you. I don't care what my people think. They'll learn to get to know you, and eventually love you for who you are. If they can do that for Link, they can do it for you." He said, determined. He seemed to have a new possible spark in his slitted pupils. You nodded quietly at him. "I'll find a way to call off this engagement, my love." Sidon said before giving you a kiss on the forehead. To him, you were worth fighting for. Even if fate took that away.

Bedtime Hours of Sidon with his S/O Headcanons

(What a cute idea, I'd love to write this! I also apologize for not responding to the asks sooner, I got an overuse injury in my hands so I'm currently trying to recover!)

As a Zora, Sidon typically sleeps in the water. When you both got married, it was decided that you both would have your own space in the domain. In this secluded area, there was a pool of water and a waterbed.

It was originally arranged to where Sidon sleeps next to you in the pool of water, whilst you slept in the waterbed. However, you both usually end up sleeping in the waterbed together.

In the beginning, Sidon would hold you, and wait for you to fall asleep before slipping into the pool of water next to you to sleep.

Sidon typically doesn't mind what sleeping positions you guys have in bed. Sometimes in the middle of the night, you'll wake up with Sidon's foot in your face. How on earth did he manage to get into that position?!

While Sidon is large in comparison to you, he finds it adorable when you attempt to be the big spoon. It even makes him flustered sometimes.

However, since the upheaval in Hyrule, his anxiety has increased. He thinks about what happened to Mipha and has grown protective of you. He's now ALWAYS the big spoon. He'll hold you securely. This brings him comfort, knowing that you are safe in his arms.

You better get comfortable before he falls into a deep sleep, because when he's finally asleep he's got a firm grip on you. You can try to wiggle around to get comfortable, however you can't change positions.

Sidon is usually a light sleeper because of his duties. However, he's constantly awake trying to keep things organised, so once he finally gets a chance to rest, you may not be able to wake him up.

Sidon typically can't sleep much at night if you're not there with him. Before you met him, he was always seen standing at Mipha's statue in the dead of night lost in thought. Sidon's mind races quite a bit, and it's hard to shut his brain off.

On Sidon's busy days, sometimes he just dives into his own pool of water and passes out the minute he gets in the water.

Sidon snores LOUD on those busy days. It really shows how tired he was.

To help him fall asleep, you will give him gentle rubs upon his forehead and tell him how much you love him and that it's going to be okay.

Possessive Sidon with S/O Headcanons

Sidon is a rather dignified Zora, everything about him resonates pride. He is very prideful of his family, his people, Zora's Domain, and ESPECIALLY of you. You are his world!

Sidon talks about you fairly often. He can't help himself from talking about his lovely partner! He tells everybody just how amazing you are and how lucky he is to have you. "Did I forget to mention how amazing my (wife/husband/partner) is?!" He would exclaim to anyone who ventures into Zora's Domain, if the topic came up.

In a way, him exclaiming his love for you to others is usually his way of telling them that you're taken by him. He'll even be sure to emphasize words like "partner, lover, darling" etc.

He often likes to show public displays of affection as well. He's big on holding hands, or giving you forehead kisses, or holding you close to him.

If you both have to make a public appearance, he usually prefers that you stay by his side. He doesn't necessarily mind you talking to others, however he will always take quick glances in your direction. Making sure that no one is overstepping your boundaries or personal space.

If you're out of sight from him, he'll send his avatar to stand by your side.

If he notices anyone overstepping these boundaries or starting to act a little too personal with you, he will immediately walk over to stand by your side. He will hold your hand and shoot the individual an intimidating glare.

This tactic usually works. However, on occasions when it doesn't, some kind of emotion physically arises from him like an instinct. He will pull you close to his body and will snarl at the individual showing his shark-like teeth.

Afterwards, if he still is feeling unsatisfied after the person had fled away, he will pull you to a private location. He starts acting animalistic and marks your neck with a few love bites here and there. These bites are not enough to break the skin or cause you much physical pain, however they definitely leave marks. This is his way of making it known that you "belong to him and no one else."

Not too long after, he will apologise for his possessive actions and make sure you're alright. To the Zora, biting their partner's shoulder and/ or neck to mark them is a common behaviour.

If this makes you uncomfortable, he will choose to alternatively get custom Zora jewelry just for you. This way you get something to wear that shows his love for you. It's also a physical way for people to see he's "claimed" you.

The three of you are the ones who keep Zora's Domain running so smoothly. A lot of the Zora state that you rule in sync. There's King Sidon, Queen Yona, and you. Sovereign (Y/n). It was the title that the Zora had chosen for you the day when you were wed to Prince Sidon and Lady Yona. It absolutely stuns all of the Zora of the strong communication the three of you have. It was a big change for all of the Zora, but a good one!

Sidon is typically the most busy. During days when he's away with duty; you and Yona will be sitting at a small pond. You both will be looking down at the water holding hands while Yona tells you embarrassing childhood stories about Sidon. You both will be laughing trying to catch a breath!

The King Sidon Fanclub will spot you and Yona together. Laruta tries to listen in on your guy's conversation about how Sidon would used to trip on his own tail fin. Tula and Tona don't hesitate one moment and immediately approach you both asking for details about what it's like being with Sidon. These two somehow assigned themselves as unofficial thirdwheels to you, Sidon, and Yona. They are always excited to hear about any possible details!

Whenever the three of you walk together, you ALWAYS end up in the middle between them! They see you as a small cute hylian. You try to disagree, they don't care. Yona is on the left, and Sidon is on the right. They are both holding your hand. They sometimes like lifting you up, emphasizing you being small.

Whenever the three of you cuddle, you get sandwiched between the two of them. You can't complain!

Sidon and Yona are very protective over you. Living in Zora's Domain as a hylian can sometimes pose as a challenge. Both of them make an effort to make sure you feel welcomed and adjusted.

One day, when an elder Zora is giving you trouble; Sidon and Yona were quick to notice how short and rude this elder Zora was to you. "Hey now. There's no need to be so fowl to our darling! They are our equal!" Sidon says, immediately stepping in, defending you.

Sidon does his best to keep things as civil as possible, Yona on the other hand... This woman won't tolerate ANY bullsh*t that this elder says. She immediately shuts the elder down. "Say anything else or you'll be facing consequences." Yona snaps rather coldly, compared to her warm and caring self. This is a terrifying side to her that you rarely see. You and Sidon look ABSOLUTELY shocked.

For the tradition of a "Zora Princess" making her armour for the person she weds, Sidon and Yona sat down and had a conversation about it. Before you became their fiancé, they both proposed to you with a set of earrings. It wasn't by Hylian or Zora tradition, but instead something new. Your guy's tradition!

When comforting you on bad days, Yona will hum you a song and play with your hair to keep you in the moment. Sidon on the other hand, will hold your hands and reassure you with soft and loving words.

Bonus Headcanon (Slight NSFW):

When the three of you are in bed, you always end up being the bottom. No matter how much you attempt to be assertive in bed, Yona and Sidon will always dominate you before you even get the CHANCE.

Headcanons of Sidon with their S/O on Rainy Days

Zoras LOVE it when it starts to rain in the domain. Even though you're a hylian yourself, you enjoy the rain too. It rains rather frequently, so you're always sure to bring an umbrella just in case.

Sidon will go about his business like it's nothing, even when it's absolutely pouring outside. Meanwhile, you're trying your best to make sure your umbrella doesn't flip inside out or blow away. It's a rather rainy AND windy day! He doesn't even notice you struggling until your umbrella is gone like the wind!

One day you forgot to bring your umbrella during a bad rainstorm. You ended up using one of Sidon's fins as a makeshift umbrella. He thought that this was absolutely amusing!

When you get the chance, you try to slip Sidon away from his duties as the new king. You both go out to Ploymus Mountain to simply sit on the grass. On these days, it's warm outside with gentle rain droplets falling from the sky. It's absolutely soothing.

You both especially like being there to watch any thunderstorms in the distance. Sidon likes hearing the thunder and distant sounds of rain, however the minute he actually sees lightning in the sky, or a flash of light he gets nervous, as most Zora do by instinct. He's usually the one to be brave in all scenarios, however in those occasions you're usually comforting him. "Don't worry, it's all the way out in the Akkala Region, we'll be okay here." You'd tell him, he would then hesitantly nod as he held you close. Your presence helps make him feel more secure.

Some days you don't mind getting wet, you both will lay outside in the rain. This is especially relaxing for Sidon.

Afterwards, Sidon will make sure you're dry by ruffling your hair with a towel. He wants to make sure that you don't get a cold. He can't help but laugh when your hair poofs afterwards. "Perhaps I overdid it a bit! You look like you have a Lynel's mane!" Sidon giggles.

Occasionally, Sidon will bring the both of you to a sheltered spot to escape the rain. On these days it's rather cold so he'll cuddle up next to you as you both watch the rain, waiting for it to stop.

There were days that leaving your own safe space was hard enough as is. You would always look in the mirror judging different parts of your body and how you looked. No matter how much you did to adjust your appearance whether it be makeup, clothes, or hair, it never felt like enough. You felt like your body was not right, you felt extremely uncomfortable in your own skin. Sometimes you couldn't help but compare yourself to Sidon, it felt like he was perfect.

You and Sidon were sitting out by the water, as the sun had set not too long ago. The sounds of crickets could be heard, as the water had light ripples from occasional raindrops from the sky above.

"Are you alright, dear?" Sidon asks, looking into your eyes concerned. You had seemed to be lost in your mind again as you were staring at the water, subconsciously judging your appearance.

"Um. Yeah." You responded looking down at the water. Your critical gaze was fixated on your reflection. You stared down at yourself with a distasteful look. Sidon was rather quick to notice this. He gently raised his hand to the side of your face, lightly guiding you with his palm to look at him instead. Your eyes had shifted to his golden irises.

"You really don't seem okay... Please talk to me." His tone was rather tender and tranquil. He looked down at you, concerned. You sighed, before thinking of what to say.

"It's nothing really... I just don't really like how I look I guess." You mumbled to him, looking down at the ground below you. Sidon stared at you, trying to process what you had said to him. He carried a rather confused expression on his face.

"You don't like how you look?" He responded, trying to understand you.

"Not really... I feel like I look gross... I feel disgusting..." You mentioned, starting to feel frustrated at yourself. Your breathing became a bit more heavy as you were trying to keep it together. Sidon's heart broke seeing you like this. He nudged you lightly to get you to focus on him.

"Hey, listen to me (Y/n)... You're not disgusting, you're an absolutely gorgeous hylian. I'm not sure why you see yourself in such a way..." He said with a saddened gaze. You sighed in response, finally feeling tears fall down your face.

"You're so perfect compared to me. I don't understand how you can even see any beauty in me." You responded feeling the full weight of everything coming crashing down onto you. You had hit a breaking point as your feelings slipped out. Sidon immediately embraced you, he held you close to him. You could feel the warmth from his chest and his slow heartbeat.

"Please don't compare yourself to others, darling. Even if you can't see it, you are stunning to me. Please know that I mean this sincerely dear. You are enough." He softly whispered to you giving you a kiss on the forehead.

He kept embracing you throughout that entire night, complimenting you on specific things he liked about you. Whether it be your hair, eyes, etc. Sidon became your number one hype man to cheer you up, whenever you felt insecure. He wanted you to know just how much he loved you, and that you were so much more than your appearance.

The night air was cold, as the freezing temperatures made your nose and fingertips red. Soft sounds of rain droplets hit the ground as you carefully sneaked near the bridge. You spent weeks in preparation for this exact moment. You patiently waited as a Zora guard soon left his station to end his shift. This was the exact moment you quickly sprinted across the bridge to exit Zora's Domain. You knew that it took a couple of minutes before the next shift would begin with a different Zora guard, so it was perfect. The raindrops covered the sound of your brisk footsteps splashing puddles of water beneath you. Your plan was practically flawless, the only witness being the waning moon covered by the stormy clouds above. You were out of breath as you finally made it past the bridge. You took a moment to catch your breath before looking back to Zora's Domain one last time. It felt too surreal to be true, you were finally free. You then turned back around to start moving forward, away from Zora's Domain. While you had accomplished your main goal, it wouldn't be long before they notice you are missing. You kept your brisk pace into the night, trembling a bit from the crisp breeze. The rain had only begun to come down heavier than before. You were completely damp at this point. You finally decided to stop and sit under a pine tree to seek some kind of shelter. It didn't do much to keep you dry, and from the wind to make the tree sway. A few minutes of sitting under the tree turned into hours. You were huddling into yourself, leaning against the bark, trying to stay warm. The rain was deafening to you, what shocked you was the fact that no guards were sent out to look for you. You were checked on hourly, there was no way that they wouldn't notice your absence. The very thought of it sent a shiver down your spine. You took it as a sign to keep moving ahead. Your goal was to make it to a nearby stable. You left from under the tree before something made you stumble onto the ground. You looked over rather quickly to see what you tripped on.

"A rock-?" You mumbled out loud, before the supposed 'rock' stood up. It was a Lizalfos blending into the ground. The Lizalfos returned to its natural colour before it hissed at you, preparing to attack. You stood up quickly, looking for a tree branch to attack it. To no avail there was nothing within arm's reach of you. The Lizalfos was quick to corner you, it lunged its body at you. "Shit!" You cried out immediately closing your eyes. You waited for the monster to kill you right then and there. Instead of being attacked, you only heard a slicing sound and an inhumane noise from the Lizalfos. You opened your eyes to stand in shock. Sidon was standing right in front of you, his lightscale trident in hand, with the Lizalfos decaying on the wet ground below. You somehow felt more fear than you did before seeing the Lizalfos. You were quick to try to flee away from the tall Zora, but he was quicker. Before you could even manage to take a step, he grasped on your wrist rather tightly. You instantly feel fear strike you like a bolt of lightning. You were quick to look up at his face, however he didn't look at you. Sidon pulled your wrist rather roughly, dragging you back to Zora's Domain. Throughout the entire time, he did not once look at you or even speak to you. It felt like an eternity before you both had made it back to the Domain. The guards who were standing by the bridge only gave you a look of apprehension. Sidon then finally stopped in his tracks, letting go of you when you both were in a private place. Sidon finally turned to face you, you felt your heart stop. He gave you a bright brin. It was normally an iconic look for him, his winning smile, however to you... It filled you with something worse than fear.

"Sidon... I-" you were immediately cut off.

"So, tell me. Did you have fun on that little game of yours, (Y/n)? Did you get all of your energy out?" Sidon finally spoke for the first time. His tone chilled you more than the weather. His expression was unreadable, you couldn't tell what he was thinking. You stood in silence, like a deer in headlights.

"I just..." You started, however not finding the words to respond. It wasn't like Sidon would give you a chance to respond anyways. He was quick to grab you by the wrists, staring down at you. He had towered over you, you were so small in comparison to him because you were a Hylian. His golden eyes pierced you as if he knew everything you thought or wanted to say.

"Let me make this clear to you my love." He said in a very firm and cold tone, glaring down at you. His smile was gone, his gold eyes were fixated on you. "Next time you ever pull a stunt like that again... Perhaps I'll just have to permanently keep you under supervision." He stated in a rather aggressive tone. He then let go of your wrists before smiling again. "Perhaps let's keep this a one time game, dear?" He said in his usual chipper tone again. You were quick to nod. You then pondered...

"Wait... How did you find me?" You asked rather nervously. He continued to smile.

"You forgot one thing in this supposed plan of yours." He then grinned even more. "You thought that rain would disguise the sound of you leaving. A smart plan, had you not forgotten that I am the Sage of Water." You felt stupid in that moment, hopeless even. You truly realized that there was no way for you to escape him, he would always find you.

This was exactly what he wanted you to feel from the start. He wanted you to give in and realize you were nothing without him by your side. You really had no way to escape.

The Power of Technology - Sidon X Reader

Sidon is immediately fascinated when you show him your weird glowing brick that looks like a sheikah slate, or how else would he put it... a Purah Pad? He knows that Link has one too. You try to explain that it is a "phone" and only you have one. Sidon just goes along with it because he has no idea how new technology works, but he'll try to understand!

He's amazed how you have everything by the power of your finger tip on such a small device. Despite not having any service or internet in their world, Sidon thinks that your phone is something out of a sci-fi child story.

When your phone dies for the first time and he learns that they need to be charged by electricity, he suggests that you leave your phone outside during a thunderstorm so it could "charge".

Once Sidon learns how to use your phone, the man immediately loves watching silly videos you had saved on your phone before you came to Hyrule. He will 100% watch the same video on loop for hours on end.

"Wow! Such wonderful art! It's like real life!" Sidon would exclaim looking in your camera roll. You would have to explain that these are "photos" not drawings. Sidon didn't believe you at first.

Oh... You poor thing... Now that Sidon has discovered the magic of the camera on your phone, he will sneak your phone and take hundreds of pictures, half of them being himself with his silly cheeky smile. You'll wake up to a message on your phone about your storage being "full", you'll know why.

You'll both scroll through your phone's camera roll together. Sidon will see ones of you back in your world and will have so many questions. Looking back on these photos will make you emotional, as much as you love Hyrule and Sidon, you do get homesick.

When you're homesick, Sidon will grab your phone out of your hand and take a silly picture of himself and change your wallpaper to himself. "Look my love! You can now look at me whenever you open your phone!" He would say with a silly grin. The photo would be taken at the worst angle, yet it would make you laugh, making you feel better.

You have a mix of different songs saved on your phone but Sidon had decided that he liked a certain band the most. In the early hours of the morning, you'll hear him softly sing to himself "Weeeee are the champions!!" Low and Behold... The band was Queen.

He 100% listens to the same song on loop, and he'll NEVER get tired of that song. "It's a catchy song! How could you NOT want to sing it?"

When you are on your phone at night, he's shocked at just how bright it is. "What is that thing even made of??"

Both of you will cuddle at night sometimes watching a movie or two. You only have a few, Sidon doesn't mind rewatching. He finds it amazing how you can record life on it and then watch it on such a tiny screen.
