I went for a three hour bike ride, made some delicious baked oatmeal and now I’m ready to study a bit. Statistics is not my best course but I’ll try my best!

This is what’s in my backpack/ what I have to bring to school freshman year edition!

Tomorrow is my first day of high school and this is all the stuff I have to bring. But let’s start with my backpack.

This is my backpack for this school year. I love that there are 2 big pockets so I won’t have to go to my locker often. There’s also a laptop pocket which is perfect for the chromebooks the school lends us. What’s also great is it’s water resistant, so when it rains my stuff shouldn’t get that wet. 

Now here’s what I’m bringing to school!

A variety of notecards, including: plain, colored, ring bound

Regular highlighters (I’m debating if I want to bring my mildliners)

Mechanical pencils

Wood pencils that I need to resharpen 

White out

Flair pens and regular pens

A binder

Makeup bag with hand sanitizer, some makeup, mini hairbrush, etc.

Planner - My high school gave us planners to use, and since I haven’t bought one yet I’m just going to use it. But I need to put something on the cover because right now it’s a bunch of pictures of kids. The inside is black and white so it should be fun decorating it.

Calling this week “busy” would be an understatement. On top of all the energy this week required, I caught a cold at school and am still recovering… (shoutout to my BFF Niquil, you da real MVP) As much as I’d love to take weekends off to rest like I usually do, life doesn’t stop. It’s hard to stay motivated when you have such a busy schedule, but you just have to remind yourself to make each and every day count. Remind yourself that you’re doing this all for a reason. Take time out of your day to treat yourself. To make someone smile. To make someone else’s day. Take the time to appreciate what you have every day ☁️
