ffxiv sideblog. activity will fluctuate wildly
currently a little over halfway through HW, but i've had everything up to EW at least vaguely spoiled thru internet osmosis so yknow
[ID: a screenshot from final fantasy 14 of a miqo'te standing with their hand on their hip, looking to the side with their eyes closed. they have brown, red-toned skin, and their short-length hair is a near-black dark brown with white highlights. they have a pale marking on their forehead to represent their vitiligo. they are wearing a red vanya hat of casting, battlemage's robe, goetia gloves, red goetia chausses, white goetia thighboots, and have the keep of saints sheathed on their back. end ID.]
returning after a year-long hiatus means fresh new main glam for da boy ✨
[ID: two 'before' and 'after' screenshots of a miqo'te from the benchmark character creator. on the left he has dark skin, short near-black hair with white streaks, and dark orange and brown eyes. on the right he has very light and pale skin with flecks of white on his face, all-white hair, and white eyes. end ID.]
after rbing that poll i got curious about actually visualizing what ceh would look like after shb. and. good FUCKING lord what did those people do to my cat
can't wait to get back in the mood to start playing again so that i can hopefully get to shb sooner rather than later and start making frankenstein parallels with kihceh & the exarch
enjoying some time at the hot springs for her day off. she'd love company but discussions about grave dangers and saving the world are to be left behind with their clothes
(video version under the cut cause i really like it :) )
thinking about how much more invested i would be in that particular part of the story if the whole emet selch/hades & azem thing was explicitly a tale of a father losing his child in every conceivable way possible. and having noone to blame for it but himself all while desperately insisting that he’s done nothing wrong and just wants his little baby back, ignoring the fact that the azem that he remembers when they were young and still needed his protection and guidance didn’t(doesn’t) exist anymore and that they were always their own person with their own thoughts and feelings on what was going on near the end
