For Jack and the Community

A long time ago

when YouTube

was only a few years old

a man emerge

unaware how much he'll grow

and how many  souls

he'll help grow.

From brown hair

to green hair

to an oddish blue

then brown hair again

he never was the same man

regardless how close the phases stand.

For throughout it all

he changed

for better or worse

it isn't for us to say

as long as he doesn't change

into an evil man

making us revoke his name.

But that is unlikely to be

for even though

changes can be seen

his heart of gold

never went unseen.

Though it is

a possibility he

isn't what he seems

let's not dwell

on that possibility.

Instead let's think

on how a person

that started out small

can reach us all

inspiring us to be

not so small indeed.

By stirring the pot for creativity

making us see the possibilities

of what we could be

opening up a wave

of creative opportunities

for you and me.

Whether it be

learning how to sing

to appreciate the green

and his friends with strings

lifting or crushing the spirits

of the community.

Or learning

how to master the dance

of the pen

sending all into a trance

at the drawings therein.

Perhaps even

mastering the art

of stringing words up

making a cohesive part

of a new story arc

for the ones with strings

and the one in green

who controls everything.

Making the community cry

as angst piles high

or sigh as comfort

passes by

giving us a reprieve

from the pain

that surely will come our way.

Sometimes though

its a combination of them all

as programmers and developers

come to call

gathering up them all

till a game comes to call.

To be played

by one and all.

There is many more

creative ways

that won't be named today

for words escape

and their just do

shouldn't be erased.

So just know

however you

came to call

the septic fandom your home

we welcome you all

there is no need

to prove your worth.

We all belong

and hopefully

even when he moves on

we won't forget

the friends we've won

by just being us.
