her whole life she has fit so perfectly into the crook of his arm as if he were made just for her, and she for him. as kisses slowed and bated breath steadied, veronica defaulted to her spot against his frame, the last piece of a set in a puzzle, cool sheets pulled over the both of them with a heavy, happy sigh. they knew how to take advantage of every moment together — after being introduced to the unknown that was deployment, his time home was precious, and kept the pair plenty busy. satisfying silence lingers for only a moment before the repeated interruption of her buzzing cell phone.

pals - I’ve had so many amazing friends here reach out so I wanted to make an update on my sister (hopefully the final one).
1. You guys donated more than I could ask for, she’s using that money for a moving trailer and to pay highway tolls, and leaves to move down with to FL this Saturday!
2. The pos who put his hands on her and killed her dog is currently in jail and awaiting trial 😊😊
3. I’m gonna close out the PayPal fund, but for those asking about donations, through the rest of the week any sales made over here will be going towards getting her set up in a new place (primarily filling her fridge for the kids, toiletries, etc.)
A big thank you to every single person who gave what they could, and shared the initial posts. I’ll never be able to repay you guys.
