Seemingly, a distant whisky voice calls out to Annoyance. Familiar, yet so alien, it mutters in a collective tone. “If it isn’t the phantom who lived, thrived, and yet— you haven’t achieved what you wanted.”

“Life is fragile. And you, Phantom, are immortal. Why do you seek to be temporary? You are a nightmare engine, running off of anything that dares have an emotion, forbid. Why be them, when you could be something more? But it seems greatness is just out of your grasp, isn’t it?”

The voice trails off out of the phantom’s mind, laughing maniacally before leaving him in silence.

U can see magic? What does that mean? What’s a magic aura why are they so special…..?

“I have special eyes my friend—and so do you. it’s that simple.”

“Magic is visible to us in many forms. For example; the sheen on an enchanted sword or book, a fishing rod, or even a pair of elytra. But like items, beings can also be enchanted. Sort of… these auras can tell you many things! Like the magic they have, what they’re capable of— and maybe a bit of insight on who they are.”

“It’s a curious topic. Though, reading auras of beings is no easy feat. To the untrained eye, they look just like you and I. Hoohoo!”

Not too far, the sound of whooshing as another rift into the hellish dimension opened—and from it a human with ginger hair. With staff in hand, she steps into the landscape with weary eyes. It doesn’t take long before she notices something.

What a strange aura. And even stranger—the one who holds it.

Sticking out like a sore thumb, Marigold calls out.

“Hello? Is someone there?”

It's not often that someone pops up out of nowhere- especially in the Nether of all places. Yet Ritz doesn't know if he should run or hide from the new... intruder. Somethings already off, and he doesn't like it.

So he opts to stay silent. If he can't see them... they can't see him. That's how that works, right?
