I totally forgot to release this, but here’s me and my brother’s submission for Ghost Jam 2020! Her name is Iea (with an i), and she’s a bit out of the ordinary for a ghost.

She can do a few of the ghost functions that are built in if you really want her to, but her main purpose is to slowly tell you a story, and her menu is almost exclusively for asking her questions.

Mayushoot

Mayushoot is a horizontally scrolling shooter developed by はるかぜ (now defunct) featuring characters that appear in Ukagaka, a Japanese software for computer desktop. Mayushoot takes place within a magical fantasy world where the player controls a character and must destroy enemies using both straight shot and accompanied by a small monster or pet which damage or destroy a group of enemies on-screen when used. There are seven different characters in the game and each of them has their own shot style. Mayushoot's gameplay centers primarily around achieve a high score by throwing pet to destroy as many enemies at once. Mayushoot was released at Comiket 62, on August 11, 2002. -DoujinGravity

I checked that one thread and saw it. They’re really not trying to hide anything anymore, and while I don’t know if they themself are actively a nazi, they still have no excuses for befriending an extremely obvious one

Them thinking they’re Mayura is something I’d rather not touch that much, as it is something I can’t really approach well (due to not being sure how to word things). I don’t think Mayura’s creator is aware (I think they might’ve talked before about Mayura herself (They asked them about merch of her?), but that’s all I’ve got)

Thank you for the addition, I was aware they have an instagram but I did not know their username on it. What I do know, however, is that they’re Nijiura_Maid on Twitter, so you might want to watch out for them there too

I’ve been very….hesitant to do this (as 1: I’m lowkey kinda scared of them, and 2: I do not want gross things on my blog), but seeing as I’m apparently the only person who has discovered the page in question: if you are into ukagaka/anything relating to it, I am warning you to please stay away from digitalwitchmayura/ nijiura-maid/ ukgk, as we now have full on proof that they own lolicon doujins (WARNING FOR PEDOPHILIA AND BORDERLINE NSFW). This page is an archive of one of the pages of their website that is a translated version of one of the original sites for Mayura, and yes, I can indeed confirm that is their creation, as on the digitalwitchmayura blog they link to a blog of theirs (that is password protected), and said blog is also linked on the Mayura translation site. 

Please do not try to start shit with me. There is even more proof of them being awful (and I will not hesitate to drag it out myself), and the only thing keeping me from putting those directly on here is that they contain pictures of the things in question (and I’d rather not have lolicon directly on my blog). (And Campanella, if you’re reading this- do not try to come up to me and cry and whine about you being innocent. There are years of proof of you being disgusting, and the excuse of “But I was groomed! I don’t know any better!” won’t work on me. For as sad as it may be, I have been groomed too and I’m younger than you, yet even I know better. Shape up and stop whining.)

AURORA V1.0 IS FINALLY DONE!! I’ve been working on her since… mid-July? I’m super happy to be able to finally share my OC Ukagaka with you all!

What is an Ukagaka?

Taking a bit from Wikipedia…

Ukagaka (伺か), Nanika (何か), Sakura (さくら), Nin'i-tan (任意たん) or Nise-Haruna (偽春菜) is a catch-all term for Japanese software which shares a single format and function: to provide a pair of mascot characters for the user’s computer desktop. These mascot characters can perform some useful functions such as checking e-mail or adjusting the clock of the computer, but are most popular as an aesthetic add-on, which “says” weird things.

Aurora doesn’t have a sidekick, but the basic gist is the same. She’s a little desktop buddy that can do things like remind you to take medicine/go to sleep, play games with you, set a work timer, and more!

How do I install her?

Download SSP if you don’t have it already. It’s the topmost big pink button on the left.

Once you’ve booted up SSP, the default Ukagaka will talk a lot. You can ignore that and just drag and drop Aurora’s NAR file onto the catgirl.

When the README pops up, you can switch to Aurora in the menu that appears when you right click on the catgirl, under “Change Ghost”
