I've finished The Starry Love in just few days. GOD I LOVE IT SO MUCH. From the witty and comedic FL and her buddies character, charismatic and versatile ML characters, tragic plot to lovey-dovey husband-wife scenes. Every episodes were worth to watch.

I've admired Chen Xingxu's acting since Goodbye My Princess and yes he never disappoints!! His chemistry with Li Landi on screen was over the roof!! I am rooting for a reunion of them for a modern drama (plsss).

Past 20 episodes of Goodbye My Princess, I could tell it's a wholesome melodramatic experience for me as a beginner in cdramas esp Wuxia/ historical genre.

The palace sets? Majestic.

The fighting scenes? Detailed (though it is kinda hard to not point out the stunt show done by strings).

The plot? So far, it is well-written, very clear of every characters backstory and of course the main leads chemistry in this 👍🏻👍🏻

I cannot stress how fascinated I am by the details in drapes and designs of the costumes. I would recommend this drama for historical, tragic but beautiful drama lovers who watch to escape reality and feel the pain.

A good drama is the one that would never fail to make you watch it till the end. You just HAVE TO know how it ends. Tbh, Thousand Years for You is quite a cliché xanxia drama. The plot is straightforward, yet I am still lost at the middle of the series (ep 15-25). Idk maybe there are so many unnecessary scenes??

The female lead is a ground-breaking character, not the same cutie innocent girls you found in other dramas. She's been taking the lead since d-1 🔥 yu dengdeng defn has my heart! One more thing this series has it different is the humour of the stronghold member. They are all just pure comedic!

As much as I love the female lead, I would not say much on the male lead :((( you gotta watch to know. The villain is living like any other villain in Disney series, sits in the dark, with evil laugh and of course black costumes (hi the man from who rules the world we meet again!)

Overall, since I am reaching the ending, have to say that I am excited to know who will die (spoiler alert: Xanxia dramas love to kill someone right?)

Btw gotta praise the production at how detailed the props/ building set and of course COSTUMES (god, I want their leather jackets 😭 also the traditional wedding dresses :'))))

I started Run On with a very low expectation since I'm not fond of slice of life dramas, yet the characters really intrigued me??? Put aside the plot, I guess the writers put on effort of giving life to the characters... Like you can imagine them as diff persons in real life?

Both main characters and side characters have their own strong personalities. Oh Mijoo played by Shin Sekyung reminded me of Lovelyz's Mijoo who's good at being spontaneous and daring on camera. Seo Danah on the other hand, despite being rich and having anything go her way, she is seen as a psychopath for her poor social skills and lack of empathy. Her upbringings made her build walls around, forcing ppl to always be cautious around her. To think back, she's my favourite character and I can't wait to see her character develops later (as of ep. 12). Not to mention, Ki Seongyeom?? He is a personafication of what innocence really is. Defn a comfort drama
