…or I just thought ‘I would love to see Hinata and Neji kicking Toneri’s ass together in The Last… ’

I didn’t see it coming but recently I’ve been thinking about what The Last Movie would be like if Neji was alive. These thoughts mixed with my intention to draw an adult Neji in a more anime-like style using a screenshot with Minato I made recently, because I think that they have similar facial features. I planned to draw only a portrait of Neji but failed to stop myself and this happened  xD

And yes, Neji doesn’t bear a seal anymore, it is not a mistake. But I will tell why it happened so next time ;3

Stalked Again AU

It had been nearly two years since Toneri Otsutsuki was sent to Konaha’s maximum security prison for kidnapping and failure to comply with a restraining order. Naruto and Hinata were finally able to move forward with their lives, very forward in fact. In mid September, a little over a month after the sentencing, Hinata came back from her lunch break at work to find her kindergarten students all holding a sign that read “Will you marry Mr. Naruto?” He emerged from behind the classroom door and fell to his knee in front of her and the children smiling that big contagious smile. Tears trickled down her face as she anxiously accepted and the love of her life slipped a beautiful silver diamond ring onto her finger. The children giggled as the newly engaged couple embraced and kissed until principle Aburame came in to inform Hinata she had the rest of the day off to celebrate.

The two married in February on their 1 year anniversary in a small ceremony with all of their family and friends. Hinata looked like a true princess in her beautiful white ball gown and she felt like royalty celebrating with those she loved the most. The reception was full of love, laughs, congratulations, drinks, and dancing. The newlyweds joined their friends in dancing the night away smiling comemerating their first night of marriage.

In December the two received a very special Christmas present. After opening presents at Hinata’s family’s house Naruto plopped onto the couch at their apartment while Hinata went to fetch his final present. He gave the small rectangular box a little shake, “a watch?”

Hinata smiled “just open it.”

Naruto eagerly tore off the paper and popped off the top of the box. Inside he found a long piece of plastic. Confused, he looked closer and saw that it was a pregnancy test with two pink lines. His face lit up instantly, “are you serious?!”

A small tear rolled down her face and she nodded happily. Naruto picked her up, spinning her around and kissing her face and lips profusely “Hinata this is the best Christmas present I’ve ever gotten.”

By the end of March Hinata’s morning sickness was so severe that she was throwing up multiple times per day. She tried nearly everything make her nausea disappear but to no avail. After weeks of constant dry heaving and dehydration she was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, a rare condition during pregnancy that made her feel sick constantly. Dr. Tsunade recommended that she spend rest of her pregnancy on bed rest and strapped to an IV pump so they could closely monitor her and the baby.

Hinata hated the idea of leaving her kindergarteners already. The plan was to become a stay at home mom until the baby got older, but she wasn’t ready to start just yet.

She called Naruto to let him know about her condition, but was unable to reach him. Thinking he was probably busy soon field work she simply returned home, eagerly awaiting his return.

Across town Naruto starred at his computer screen I disbelief. Kakashi, who had taken over the warden position at Konaha prison, emailed his young predecessor with bad news. Toneri Ōtsutsuki had been released from prison earlier that morning because of a plea deal for his testimonies against fellow inmates in various cases.

Steam practically shot out of his ears as he furiously trumped a reply, begging for Kakashi to do something about this. Unfortunately the situation was out of his hands, the deal had been struck just before he took over the position and he could not interfere. “On the bright side” he added, “the restraining order is still in effect, so if he comes near you or Hinata he will go back to prison.” This didn’t make Naruto feel any better, the order had never stoped this psychopath before, why would it now?

Naruto hung his hat before slowly walking over to his wife and kissing her lips tenderly. Hinata smiled but his expression remained grim, “honey there’s something I have to tell you,” he began, “Toneri was released from prison today. Apparently he was quite the jailhouse rat and testified against anyone he could to get a lesser sentence.”

She felt as if she were about to faint. How could he be released after less than two years of his fifteen year sentence? Did the lawyers and judges understand just how much he was capable of?

Naruto brought her into his lap and held her tight, “shhh hina baby it’s going to be okay. The restraining order still stands okay? If he even thinks about getting near you I will personally throw him into an isolated cell and make sure he never sees the light of day.”

Though his words were sweet they brought little comfort. This time she had not only herself to worry about, but her baby as well. She stroked her swollen belly as if to calm the baby. Naruto began stroking her belly as he held her tight, “I won’t let him hurt my girls, I promise you that.”

Hinata chuckled, “still convinced it’s a girl huh? I’m pretty sure this is a little boy.”

Naruto kissed her belly softly, “well I’m positive my baby girl is in there. Only six more months till we get to know for sure.”

Hinata’s high risk pregnancy was beginning to weigh on her. Day after day of sitting in the apartment was beginning to make her stir crazy and slightly paranoid. The thought of Toneri being out of jail and possibly looking for her while she was in no condition to go anywhere made her feel like a sitting duck waiting to be shot. Instead of waking up at odd hours of the night to use the bathroom she awoke from nightmares of him coming to take her again. Whenever she grew nervous the baby would begin to kick and flip.

On the first of July and only 12 weeks from her due date Hinata decided she had had enough of living in the apartment. She spent her afternoons searching the internet for a new home for their growing family with little luck. Each home she liked wouldn’t be move in ready until the baby was born while ones that were move in ready didn’t fit all of her criteria. Just as she began to lose hope she found it.

The stone white home was breathtaking with its light orange tiled roof and large spacious yard which she hoped the family could garden in. Each of the four bedrooms and three bathrooms were spacious and plain so they could easily be decorated to match the new owners taste. Fortunately the house would be move in ready before the summer was over. Everything about the home seemed perfect, she immediately emailed it to Naruto, hoping he would love it just as much as she did.

Nearly an hour later he replied, “it looks perfect! Huge kitchen and living room for us to have family time in. I’ll swing by after work and put an offer in.”

She was so excited that she sat in her closet and began to pack all of her pre pregnancy clothes. She knew she wasn’t allowed to move a lot, but figured sitting in a chair and getting things together wouldn’t be a big deal. Though there was no guarantee they would get the house she felt confident that it would be their new home.

After packing all of her unwearable clothes and what little things they had for the baby Naruto finally returned home with two take out bowls of ramen. Hinata walked into the kitchen to find roses and a lit candle in the center of the table with the steaming bowls sitting in their usual spots. “What’s all this about?” She asked before sitting down.

Naruto came from the kitchen with two wine glasses full of apple juice, “well tonight is for celebrating! We’re home owners after all.”

Hinata’s jaw dropped, “really?! They already accepted the offer?”

Naruto sat down the glasses and hugged her from behind, “I stopped by after work to take a little tour and put out offer in. Turns out a few years ago I saved all of their lives when they were in a bad car accident. I was the first one on scene and managed to get the parents and two kids out of the gar before the gas tank caught fire and blew up the car. They remembered me and were so thankful that they offered me the house for under the listing price.” He kissed her cheeks sweetly, “they said we can start moving our things in next week.”

Hinata cried softly. She couldn’t believe they were actually going to become home owners let alone so quickly.

The next two weeks went by in a big blur, movers came to their apartment frequently to pack things for Hinata and take them to the new home or have her sign for things delivered to the home since she was still living in the apartment. Her baby shower was thrown just days before the big move in day at a local park and she couldn’t have asked for anything better. Her sister Hinabi had gathered all of Hinata and Naruto’s friends for the celebration. The soon to be parents sat at a picnic table covered in gifts thanking everyone profusely for their kindness. Everyone laughed, drank, played games, and there were even cash bets on if the newest Uzumaki would be male or female. Though Hinata couldn’t move much nearly everyone came to touch her belly, even uncles Kiba and Shino who shed a few tears when they felt the little baby kick at their hands.

Move in day was surreal for the young couple. They had always imagined painting the walls and picking exactly where each piece of furniture would go together, but when they arrived in their new home everything was already placed and properly put away. Naruto had come after work each night to put away clothes and ready the babies nursery. Though he was a little sad his wife couldn’t help he still smiled brightly, “welcome home Hinata.”

The new house had stripped Hinata of any fear she once had. The fenced in yard made her feel as if she were in a fortress and her friends came by frequently to help her get around. Her belly was growing each day and getting up to go to the bathroom nearly every hour was exhausting. Sakura who was also very pregnant and ready to pop at any time came over nearly every day with ice cream and potato chips for the two hormonal women. One day as the two binge ate and watched movies the house phone rang. Hinata quickly wobbled to answer it and soon wished she hadn’t. The voice on the other end was deep and angry, “hello my dear” it said.

Hinata’s heart stopped, she knew that voice anywhere. She couldn’t speak, how did he get the brand new number for their home? As if he knew what she was thinking he answered, “I have many connections to lots of powerful people honey, retrieving your phone number was no issue. From what I understand you married and got yourself pregnant by that Uzumaki guy. I can forgive your unfaithfulness, but only if you promise to devote yourself, and this baby to me.”

Hinata found her nerve and retaliated, “don’t you dare call here again or I will make sure you end back up in prison where you will be some man twice your size’s baby.”

Before Toneri could retort she slammed the phone onto the receiver and returned to the movie marathon. “Who was that?” Sakura asked before shoving another spoonful of mint chocolate chip ice cream into her mouth.

Hinata hesitated, unsure if she should worry her friend. Deciding that honestly was the best policy she admitted that her former stalker had contacted her once more. Sakura quickly reached for her personal phone and typed out a silent message. Moments later she smiled triumphantly, “well now there’s a warrant out for his arrest.”

The two returned to their marathon of movies without a care in the world. Despite Toneri’s call Hinata remained at ease, Naruto and Sakura assured her that he would be brought to justice, and she had faith in her loved ones.

The next morning Hinata awoke to a string of text messages from Sakura who had apparently gone into labor that night just before midnight. The latest stated that it was nearly time to begin pushing and that she hoped they would be able to meet the baby very soon.

Hinata’s heart raced for her friend, quickly she got dressed and readied herself for the day. She sent her husband a quick text message, letting him know that Sakura was in labor and that she was going to the hospital to see her. He responded quickly, “Sasuke told me, I’ll try to make it by after my shift. Please be safe darling, we wouldn’t want our little one to show up just yet! I love you!”

Hinata smiled brightly as she walked to the door. It was hard to believe that I’m just 8 weeks they would be meeting their own baby. She couldn’t wait to meet the newest Uchiha who she had secretly hoped would have Sakura’s luscious pink locks. She was locking the door, thinking about what she would purchase at the gift shop when she turned around and her heart suddenly stopped. Sitting on her car hood was the pale figure she had become all too familiar with. Toneri stood, flashing his soul shaking smile, “my dear where are you off to? The doctors said you needed to stay on bed rest remember?”

She spun around fast as lighting, struggling to fit the keys in the lock with her shaking hands. His presence began to creep up closer and closer each second. Tears began to well in her eyes, “please open”, she prayed silently. Mere moments later her wish was granted, she was able to fling the door open just before everything went black.

Stalked AU part 4

Amazingly enough ever since the hearing Hinata’s life changed for the better. She and Sakura grew very close, which then allowed her to meet her friends and they all hung out quite frequently. Every Monday night they got together for wine and cocktails as a way to get through the week.

Toneri had made bail within an hour or the hearing, but kept his distance. Just a few days short of the trial Sakura informed the couple that Toneri had plead guilty to threatening a police officer and got off with probation. They were all angry he didn’t serve any time, but were glad that the restraining order was in place.

The most wonderful thing happened to her in July, when Naruto told her he loved her. They were sitting on the couch when Naruto suddenly looked at Hinata and told her. Her heart skipped a beat. The admission caught her off guard, but she was overjoyed.

Though all these great things had been happening, she still felt at risk. She never took walks, her curtains were always closed, and she still carried the weapons Naruto gave her. She was still very much on edge, and it made Naruto worry.

One day while the two were walking through a park Naruto came up with an idea. “Hey Hinata,” He began “I was thinking. Well we’ve been together for a while now, and I love you and stuff. Maybe since you’re still pretty on edge you could move in with me. You’d feel better cause somebody is there with you to keep you safe, and I think it’d be fun to live together. School starts up again in a few weeks so now is a good time.”

Hinata blushed, she was flattered and excited at the same time. She agreed to the move, causing Naruto to spin her around in joy.

In less than a week Hinata’s younger sister agreed to take over her mortgage and live in the houseThe day felt so perfect, Hinata had finally gotten the rest of her stuff moved in, Naruto was elated to have her there, and best of all there was no Toneri to ruin it all.

Finally it was moving day. Hinata was thankful she wouldn’t have to move her big items like her bed or refrigerator. Mainly she had clothes and personal items, Hinabi would keep everything else. Naruto still insisted on taking the day off, “moving is something a couple should do together” he said as he brought boxes from the car to his apartment.

Hinata was putting some of her clothes away when she heard Naruto’s phone ring. she listened to the conversation as she continued her work. “Hello?….Are you serious? Can’t you get somebody else to do it?…Fine give me like 20 minutes.”

Naruto came in and wrapped his arms around her. “I’m sorry but the chief called and he wants me to come in for a bit, bunch of people called in sick today.” He sounded truly disappointed, the two were looking forward to getting rid of all the boxes today. He wouldn’t admit it, but he was also worried about leaving her all alone.

Hinata didn’t stop her work except to give her boyfriend a small kiss. “Go to work I’ll be fine. I’ll keep the doors locked.”

Naruto nodded and dressed for work quickly. He gave Hinata a quick kiss before darting out of the apartment. “I love you!” He screamed as he ran. She just giggled, she loved how affectionate he was, and how silly he could be.

She worked in silence for a while, no noise other than the occasional chirp from a bird outside. Her concentration broke when she received a text message. “I forgot there’s no food in the house so I’m having a pizza delivered to the apartment, love you!” Naruto truly was very considerate, she thanked him and decided to wait for the delivery driver in the living room.

She sat for about twenty minutes watching tv when the doorbell finally rang. Her stomach growled as she went to the door, but what she saw made her stomach turn.

There stood Toneri, his white hair messy and his blue eyes angry. He stood with his legs together, one hand behind his back and the other in his suit pocket. “Hello Hinata.”

She immediately began to reach for her phone to call 911 when she heard a sniffle. The hand behind Toneri’s back was now at his side, holding a small girl by the hair. Her brown curls were in a death grip as tears streamed rapidly down her face. “Miss Hina help me.” She whined

“Toneri let her go!” Hinata screamed

He chuckled for a moment. “You know Hinata, I knew where your pathetic police officer boyfriend lived this whole time. I just had to pick the right moment to come back for you, and the right, persuasion.” At the last word he took his other hand out of his pocket to reveal a gun.

The girl began to cry out when she saw it. “Now Hinata, you come with me and the girl goes free, or she gets hurt and I take you by force, your choice.”

“You’re a monster.” She whispered. He gave her a small smile as to thank her. “Let me have her, and I will go with you.” Hinata agreed.

Toneri let go of the girl and she ran straight into Hinata’s arms crying frantically. “Shhhhh it’s okay honey you’re safe now.” She said to her and she did her best to comfort the child.

Toneri got behind Hinata and lead her with the gun in her back. They reached a black SUV with tinted windows when she sat the girl down. “I have to go now honey, go to the playground okay? Somebody will call for your mommy or daddy.”

Toneri now grabbed Hinata by the hair and yanked her up onto her feet. “And don’t tell anybody what happened, or I’ll hurt your teacher.” The little girl stood there horrified, but sprinted off when he shouted at her to leave.

Hinata was put in the car and immediately had a cloth over her eyes and her wrists zip tied. She was horrified, Toneri had come back for her like he promised, and she didn’t know what to do. He began to stroke her face and arms, whispering about how glad he was to finally have her. Throughout the touching she sat there uncomfortably, trying to wriggle away.

Toneri got up and made his way to the drivers seat. The car soon pulled away, and there was no telling where it was going. “Good timing on my part, we just missed the pizza man. Don’t worry though my dear, we will have a feast at my home to celebrate your arrival.”

Hinata lay there helpless and bound. Hearing the details of what was to come later made her fearful. Tears rolled down her cheeks and she whispered fearfully. “Naruto help me.”

“What do you mean nobody collected the pizza?” Naruto was shouting into the phone.

“Nobody was there to get the delivery sir, the door was cracked open but nobody was there. I rang 3 or 4 times and knocked but nothing.” The driver admitted.

Naruto could feel the oxygen leaving his lungs and his face grew white. She was gone, and Toneri had taken her, he just knew it.

“Uzumaki! 911 call came in about a little girl at a park saying her teacher was kidnapped, sounds like it might be your girl.” Kakashi hollered. “I will let you work this, but get a body cam and go. Don’t make me regret letting you work this case.”

Naruto grabbed his body cam and took off. The call was placed from the playground in his apartment complex, allowing him to get there in less than 10 minutes. Upon arrival he saw a young girl about 5 sitting on a bench crying with what he assumed were her parents. He walked up to them slowly so the little girl would feel more at ease.

“Hey guys my name is officer Uzumaki.” Naruto said formally. The little girl looked at him and he flashed a big smile. “I heard you might have some things to tell me. Can you tell me what happened?”

The little girl cried more, telling the story of how a strange white haired man took her while she was walking to the park. He only let her go when they had Miss Hina said she would go with him, then she ran back to the park and told her parents, who in turn called 911.

The little girl cried uncontrollably, but Naruto assured her that he would save her teacher and find the bad man. She smiled slightly, and told Naruto what the vehicle looked like. He thanked her for being so brave and ran to his apartment.

Sure enough there was no Hinata inside. Her purse was still there as well as her shoes and car keys, making it nearly impossible for her to leave of her own free will. Naruto wanted to scream, he knew Toneri had not only done this, but had been planning it out for some time.

He grabbed his cell phone and called the station as quickly as possible. An annoyed Sasuke answered, “What do you want Naruto?”

Naruto talked very fast, making it nearly impossible for anyone to understand him. “Sasuke, I need you to get me a search warrant and have a judge sign it fast. Hinata is gone, the little girl saw Toneri take her and drive off. If I don’t get there I-”

“Okay okay relax. I’ll get you a search warrant, meet me at the court house.” The Ill tempered Uchiha said before hanging up.

He sped off to city hall, lights flashing and siren blaring. He needed the search warrant, no ifs ands or buts. If he didn’t, that spelled danger for Hinata.

Hinata felt herself being picked up bridal style and being carried out of the car. She thrashed and fought but her restraints just made it too difficult. Toneri took the cloth off of her eyes “welcome to your new home my love.”

Before her eyes was a house almost like a mansion. It had three stories and was nearly a quarter mile long. She looked to see if other homes were near by, but she was out of luck, it appeared to be the only one for miles.

“My family and I all used to live here. My father, mother, uncles, aunts, cousins, pretty much everybody. We were all so happy here, until the fire.” He paused and put Hinata down allowing her to walk with his arm around her. “There was another family we didn’t get along with, so one night while we were asleep, they threw Molotov cocktails inside. Killed everybody, everybody except for me. So I rebuilt, started all over, and that’s why I brought you here, so that we can live a life together.”

Hinata stayed silent for a moment. Getting on Toneri’s good side was the priority, so she thought carefully about everything she said. “I’m terribly sorry for your loss. That must have been very difficult for you.”

He nodded, thanking her for her kind words. The home was beautiful, filled with art and decorated beautifully. Maids, cooks, and other people that appeared to work at the estate walked by often, but said nothing then they saw a bound Hinata being lead through the house.

She wanted to scream. She wanted to fight. This was his house though, and he had an advantage over her. If she wanted to escape, she was going to have to plan very carefully.

Toneri stopped at a room, leading Hinata inside. “The feast will begin soon,” he stated. “I will allow you to wash up under supervision, and they will bring you to the dinning area when you’re done.” He gestured to a woman standing in the corner of the room who Hinata hadn’t noticed. She stepped forward and took Hinata by the arm, leading her deeper into the room.

The woman said nothing as she did Hinata’s makeup and sprayed her with fine perfume. Hinata stayed silent as well. She was thinking of Naruto and how she missed him. She hoped he would save her, that he would come through the door any minute.

Sure enough Naruto was issued his search warrant almost instantly. He sped to Toneri’s address with Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Sai not far behind him. It would be at least a 20 minutes before they would arrive, but every second ticked by slowly.

“Hey dickless slow down. We’re all trying to follow you remember?” Sai said over the radio.

“There’s no time. Either keep up or stay at the station.” He snapped back instantly

The radio was silent. They all knew better than to comment back. Even Sai, who loved to poke fun at his blonde friend, knew now was the time to be quiet. Naruto gripped the steering wheel tighter and sped through a red light, his fellow officers right on his tail.

“Ah you look lovely my dear.” Toneri said eying Hinata.

The maid had put her in a strange black dress along with gloves and a head wrap, as well as a replacement set of zip ties around her wrists. “Thanks.” Hinata said as she was sat down in a chair at the table.

Hinata picked at her plate the best she could, pretending to eat bits and pieces of whatever was on it. Toneri watched her with his piercing eyes as she sat uncomfortably in her chair.

Toneri singled for somebody to take their plates after twenty minutes of silence. “You’ll grow to like it here you know.” He began. “You’ll have people to cater to your every need or desire. I’ll always make sure you’re well taken care of.”

“But I want to work, I like my teaching job.” Hinata protested carefully.

“Us being together, it’s destiny you know.” He smiled to himself as if he hadn’t just heard her. “I could tell when I saw you at the coffee shop for the first time. You showed me that beautiful smile and I was smitten. That’s why I just had to bring you here.”

Hinata felt bad for him in a way. Here he was with no family or friends and. He was clearly delusional, hee needed help, and so did she.

He stood and walked over to her, helping her stand from her chair. “I’m beginning to feel like I can trust you.”

“Of course you can trust me.” Hinata lied. She gave him the best smile she could manage under the circumstances. He smiled back, and began to walk her to the living room, rambling on about love and whatnot.

Hinata listened somewhat to his words. She took in everything, the potential weapons around her, the position of his arm on her, how closely he walked, and most importantly any opportunity to escape.

Toneri stroked her hair as she sat awkwardly next to him on the couch. She watched the front entrance nearby, praying silently that an opportunity to run would come up.

“Konoha police! Search warrant!” Somebody shouted as they kicked down the door to Toneri’s home. They flinched on the couch to see none other than Naruto coming through the door, with other officers behind him.

Hinata sprang up and began to run towards him. She was so relieved, but it was short lived.

There was a sudden intense pressure on the back of her head. The wrap on her head acted as a noose around her hair, which Toneri had a hold of. He tried to wriggle free to no avail, he kept her at his side as the commotion started.

“Hinata! Hinata!” Naruto screamed as he neared the room.

“Naruto!” She cried out. The pain in her head began to ease, but she felt her air supply being cut off as Toneri put her in a head lock.

“You said I could trust you! What are they doing here?” He said pulling her against him tighter. She continued to struggle until she heard the click of the safety on a gun. That sound was almost enough to make the entire room stand still.

“Toneri let her go!” Naruto snarled fiercely.

“No! Back off!” He said pointing the gun toward the hostage he held. She stood completely still, one false move and she could be dead.

Naruto began to move forward when Hinata stopped him. “Naruto calm down okay? Toneri isn’t going to hurt me.” Everyone gave her a strange look, Toneri included. “You all need to relax, he won’t hurt me, you’ve just scared him.”

Toneri began to lower the gun slightly. “Yes, now I want you all to put your guns down.”

The officers hesitated until Hinata gave them a nod, signaling them to do as he says. The guns were placed on the ground slowly but surely. Naruto watched her closely, he knew there was something going on.

“Toneri I’m having trouble breathing.” She said softly. He quickly took his forearm off her throat and placed it on top of her collar bones with far less pressure. “Thank you.” She adjusted herself slightly, all eyes in the room were on her.

She had to think, and fast. If she was going to make a move it had to be wishing the next 60 seconds or she was done for. The self defense classes began to come back to her, and she recalled a certain lesson that applied perfectly.

She turned slightly in Toneri’s grip, half facing him while still keeping an eye on the officers. In an instant she raised her foot high and slammed it onto his foot as hard as she could. A loud crack and loud screams could be heard as several bones in his foot had clearly been broken. His body leaned forward slightly to cope with the pain when Hinata used all of her might to head butt her captor.

He toppled to the ground unconscious. Seconds later officers ran over to the pair, Sai and Shikamaru clearing the rest of the home, Sasuke cuffing Toneri, while Naruto went to Hinata’s aid. “Hinata!” He screamed as he grabbed her. He held her tight, afraid if he let go he would lose her again.

Sasuke lifted Toneri up by the wrists and escorted him out of the home “Toneri Ōtsutsuki you’re under arrest for violation of a restraining order and kidnapping. You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney, if you cannot afford one…” His voice got quieter as he began to exit the home, until it was silent and only Naruto and Hinata remained.

Naruto was crying. Nobody would know if they saw the sight before them, but Hinata could tell. His face was buried in her neck, and a few hot tears made their way onto her. His grip around her didn’t lessen as he began to frantically kiss her forehead. “Hinata I’m just so glad you’re okay.” His choked voice said between kisses.

Hinata was so relieved Naruto was here. He was feeling guilty and she knew it, so she did her best to lighten the mood now that everyone was safe. She giggled slightly. “Of course, I didn’t take those classes for nothing.”

Naruto couldn’t help but laugh a bit too. He wiped the tear from his eyes before picking Hinata up bridal style. She playfully wiggled in his arms, “Hey! Aren’t you gonna help untie me?”

“Oh hell no! If I do you might kick my ass for not getting here sooner.” He teased. He gave her loving kisses as he walked her out of the house.

Hinata’s playful laugh soon turned into relieved tears. She cried softly into Naruto’s shoulder as he held her. She was so grateful to have such a wonderful boyfriend, and even more grateful that the nightmare would finally be over.
