Ash questioning Moons plans, but then the rest of the group just going along with it cause they’re used to his shenanigans since they continued to work with him in the theater:
Bonus: Johnny should’ve known better than to give him ideas..

In both movies final acts the crew put on a performance that’s free.
I really like how they all wanna do the performance even if they’re not getting paid for it.
I just love how they’re all so passionate about singing and performing that money doesn’t even matter to them.
It’s a reason why I really like this cast, I love seeing characters so genuinely passionate about their goals and interests.

I like how Moon really pushes his crew to their full potential.
He gives Meena opportunities to improve her confidence. Learning to sing infront of an audience, and have the courage to ask someone out.
He makes Johnny expand his abilities. He makes him learn how to play piano and how to dance, pushing him to gain more useful skills.
He pairs Rosita with Gunter, knowing that way she’ll learn how to have more flare in her performances, which then eventually gets her the lead role in Out of This World.
He helps Ash become her own person and really express herself, singing her own songs and be a main pushing point for Clay.
And he gave all of them a chance. All of them a worthy future, and to fulfill their dreams in the singing industry.
He pushes them out of their comfort zones so that they can reach their fullest potential. Thats what makes him so great of a director and producer. He knows how he can improve their skills. He can see their problems, and he can see what can help them in their future. Rosita needed more flare, Ash needed to be more independent, Meena needed confidence, and Johnny needed skills to pair with his singing.
He really helped them a lot. He’s brought them a long way, and I hope they appreciate him for it.

I like how Johnny and Meena go straight to looking at Moon for a plan after Meena asked what they should do.
And then they all looking towards him to lead them
Like, they all know he’ll somehow come up with some crazy plan to get them out of there
