As we attempt to look into the future, it can be strange to really face the reality that the only thing that we can be sure of (EVER, not just at this unique time) is this exact moment. This moment happening right now as you read these words. This can be a strange and, at times scary realization that the only thing that exists is right here and right now. . The beautiful thing about this is that what we choose to do right now always has and always will have amazing potential. What we do now carries the weight of the future. In big and small ways, the decisions we make have the ability to be a paint brush (Bob Ross style) on our future creations. So I ask you, what do you WANT it to look like? We may not have an ability to have any foresight as to what it WILL look like... but we CAN use our creativity and think about what we WANT it to look like. . For us, we want it to look like deeper community care and connection, more time outside, less time watching the news, more time creating, less time numbing, more being, less doing, more meditation, less medication, more self understanding, and less confusion, more emotional intimacy, and less suppression of what arises. COVID-19 UPDATE: After a lot of consideration, it seems that temporarily closing the studio to promote physical distancing is the best option for our community and well being. The goal is to #flattenthecurve. We will be closing from March 18-27 and setting up online classes via Zoom for most, if not all, of our regularly scheduled classes.
