Homemade Hookah Diffusers Make Smoke Rings Even Easier
Homemade hookah diffusers are making it even easier for users to create premium-levels of smoke, perfect for tricks like smoke rings and ghosting. As in-home hookahs have become a more prolific trend among middle-aged demographics, so have the wealth of DIY projects springing up across the internet. One of the most popular hookah modifications that has taken hold of hookah-users everywhere is the homemade hookah diffuser. A diffuser, fixed to the bottom end of the hookah's stem, is a mechanical device intended to diffuse the bubble stream into a plethora of smaller streams, quieting each pull, and producing a cooler, thicker smoke for the user. Among the benefits of thicker smoke is dramatic advantage to those performing age-old smoking tricks. One such trick is the smoke ring, an enchanting party trick that provides entertainment for both the smoker and those around them. While so many methods for creating a hookah diffuser have arisen, none have been embraced like the simple bendy-straw method. By attaching a bundle of straws to the bottom of a hookah stem, smokers are finding that they can quickly and cheaply split their bubble stream into 7 or more streams, both through the straws, as well as in the space between them. While this method may not create the diffusion generated by mass-produced diffusers, its extreme affordability and ease of creation and replication has made this the favorite DIY hookah diffuser of in-home smokers.

How to tear your aluminum foil...
Tear a piece of aluminum foil about 3-4 inches wide and the full length off the role.
Tear this piece in half forming two 3-4 inches x 3-4 inches squares of aluminum forming.
Next, lay one square on top of the other square and place on top of the hookah bowl.
Use one hand to pull the aluminium foil tight, and use the other hand to mold the aluminum foil tightly to the hookah bowl.
Use regular aluminum foil as opposed to heavy duty if possible.
Avoid wrinkles and bumps as they could cause uneven heat distribution.
Puncture the aluminum foil, using a ball point point, 5 to 7 times in a circle shape with 1 whole in the middle.
Depending on the size of the bowl, spread out the holes equally to create good pull, even heat distribution, and thick shisha smoke.
OPTIONAL TIP: Place the packed bowl over the paper towel at the top of the hookah. Press down tightly creating airtight fit.

REVIEW: So I tried this beamer brand of shisha the other day and it wasn't too bad as far a herbal shisha go. It took a little bit for the hookah to get started and the puffs didn't seem as cloudy as what I get from tobacco shisha which was disappointing because they advertise 'big clouds of smoke' everywhere (even on the box). I did not experience these big clouds. It was however tasty and smelt super awesome. As far as herbal shisha goes, I like this one the best. But it just doesn't beat the real stuff :/

Hookah Tips:
For a fresher, less harsh smoke, lightly blow into your hose periodically to release some smoke from the base's chamber.
Hang your hose while not in use.
If you start getting solids from your hose while inhaling, this means it's time for a new hose. Your hose is spent.
If your smoke clouds aren't large enough, take the coal off the bowl, pull the stem off and dump out a bit of water.
If your tobacco is too hot and burning, try using two sheets of Hookah foil.
