My cats have this meow that means "please come with me to fix this" after which they'll lead me to the problem in question, usually a empty (or 'empty') food bowl or a closed door they want open. They look at the 'problem', they look back at me, clear message.

What fascinates me is how this illustrates what they percieve as being in the realm of my 'power.' I control the food, I control the door, sure, but my cats love to sit on the balcony in the sun, and it has happened plenty of times that on a rainy day they come get me, go to the balcony and show me... the rain. "Please fix this" they say. "Please get rid of the wet"

"Silly kitty," I say, "I can't control the rain." I then walk into the shower and turn on the rain.

Rewatching Bloody Mary I noticed this adorable moment I had forgotten. Usually, when Dean says something insensitive Sam will shoot him a look that says “knock it off,” and Dean will, somewhat reluctantly, knock it off. What I love about this moment is Sam knows Dean’s done dealing with the guy they’re talking to—knows a chiding look isn’t going to cut it because Dean’s frustration is justified. So instead, Sam pats Dean on the shoulder and puts himself between the two of them so he can deal with the situation in a different way. A little blink-and-you-miss it moment that perfectly illustrates how Sam looks out for Dean.

so jensen literally turned “i didn’t know what i was going to do” into “i don’t know what i would’ve done if i didn’t have you” and also added the long ass pause in “it’s always been you… and me” AND ALSO changed “i love you, sammy” to “i love you so much, my baby brother” like this man is clearly insane. you love to see it
