HS, if you wanted to put it in a kind of blunt way, was pretty much a homeless girl just hanging out around Kadic Academy. She came from elsewhere. But since this is where she had first found herself, this is where she stayed. To eat she would steal from the cafeteria sometimes, or, like today, she would have some money she'd found on the ground and go to the snack machines with it. She noticed another girl standing around there as she approached.

"Hello," She greeted. HS didn't think it was strange at all to just say hello to a perfect stranger. This is how you were supposed to befriend others, right? Everyone is a stranger at first. It's good to greet strangers and try to get to know them.

What did happen to slip her for mind for a moment was that she didn't want this other girl to notice her eyes. She quickly averted her gaze, and was now staring at the ground. She really hoped this girl hadn't noticed that strange thing with her eyes.

"This is the fourth bird that I threw one at," HS admitted, raising her head just a bit, but still keeping her eyes locked on the dead bird. "Have you tried it before?"

Oh. So the baby never left this place. He always stayed around the AI. For a moment, HS considered asking the child if she could just ask that her questions. But then she reconsidered. Without knowing much about it, she didn't know that she could really trust it. Perhaps it would be best just to wait around this place until the human came along. "I see. Well, since I have some questions to ask him, would it be alright with you if I stay around here until your Daddy J comes to see you?"

JerX nodded his head at her.

"Yupz. Daddy J comez after dinnerz to workiez on cumputerz. Daddy J shoez JerX how to codez. Thenz I getz dinnerz of baba and i esleep by Daddy X's homez downz therez." He said and pointed to the floor.

HS nodded. "It is." She held it out for him to see better. "I killed it just a little while ago."

HS held a dead bird in her gloved hands. She'd managed to peg it in the head with a pretty large stone, and it was a rather small bird. So that was it for the poor thing. She was going to take it back to the place in the woods where she hid her dissection tools and get started with that. But as she started to head away from Kadic, she noticed someone there. "Hello," HS greeted, keeping her eyes on the bird. She could have just gone on past whoever was there, but she liked talking to people when she could. It was good to try making friends with them, from what she understood. Though it didn't occur to her that trying to do so while holding a dead thing might not be the best way.

HS nodded. "I do." That was a lie. She lurked around the school, but she certainly didn't attend any classes there. During the day it was easy to pose as a student. When night came was when that got hard. "You do as well I assume?" If he'd posed the question to her, it shouldn't seem weird for her to do the same to him.

"Oh. I see." Somewhere near Kadic. That was a place that she knew. Somewhat. She'd wandered around there a few times before. Maybe she could find her way back over there from here. But it wouldn't do her any good to poke around there while classes were going on. "Your Daddy J. Will he come here to see you later?"

JerX looked puzzled at her. How could she not know this factory? 

“Daddy J es atz Skewl, Kaddic! Daddy J with Uncles Ullich, Oddz, and Willy! And Auntie Yrmi and Steppy Moma Lita! I es herez with Daddy X watchiez mez. This es ma houze. I no go to Daddy J’s skewl…. Mr. Delmatty no liekz me. I es strangez to himz.” JerX said to her as he hugged the Bullet toy.

HS handed him his toy back. " Where is he?" Then something else finally occurred to her. She didn't really know where it was that she was at. Where was this place anyway? "Also. Can you tell me where we are?"

JerX looked over concern at her. She had the symbol… but did not know where it was from.

“I…I…do notz knowz… that es somethang to askz Daddy J.” He told her.

She blinked, taking the new toy from the child. She stared at the mark on it for a while before speaking again.

" So if that mark is your creator's, then, that would mean that...I am connected to him as well?"

JerX looked confused at her. She had his dad’s logo in her eye…yet she did not know him…

“Es Daddy X’s markz. Eyez of XANA!” HE said with a big smile. He turned into his pool of toys and grabbed a bullet shaped doll with a red eye of XANA on it. 

“Seez? Daddy X madez this fur mez!” He offered the doll to her.

HS shook her head. "No. I have never heard of it before." Hm? He actually recognized the thing in her eyes? HS set Kiwi 2 down and got closer to look at the boy's other eye. And there was that symbol. It was the same as the one that showed in her own eyes. She hadn't seen that anywhere else until now. "That marking has something to do with one of your creators?"

JerX tilted his head to one side. “Yuz no knowz Lilo Land? Buttz..yu’s got Daddy X logoz in eyez…liek mez.” He said as the XANA symbol was in his red eye.

It sounded like the child was saying that he was put together by a human and an AI. Did they just...enhance a baby with robot parts or something? Why do that? What was this child's purpose? "Lilo Land?," HS found herself asking curiously as she looked over at what the baby was pointing at. "Oh. Wow." She wasn't sure what that display meant, but it looked interesting.  Then she glanced around, finally noticing all of the machinery that seemed to be set up in the room. She wanted to walk around and get a better look at it all, but the child's voice grabbed her attention again. "Oh, um... I guess.," She answered, timidly taking the robotic dog into her hands. She turned it all around, inspecting it, as she was unsure what else to do with it. She had never entertained children before. How was it done? Maybe she should just keep talking with him. His speech wasn't the best, but he did seem to know quite a bit. "So, what exactly is Lilo Land?"

JerX blinked his normal eye at her. Why did she backed up like that? He was just not sure how to handle strangers near his play pool his Daddy J got him.

“I haz two daddies! Daddy J and Daddy X! Thez made me… I dontz really knoz howz… Daddy J es humanz and Daddy X is AI! Daddy X livez there in Lilo land!” He said as he pointed to the holomap. 

His red mechanical eye looked closer at her face. It flashed the XANA logo inside of it. He reached into his pool and pulled out Kiwi 2. 

“Yu wanna playz with mez?” He asked as he held out the robot dog.

When she saw him grab his bear like that she backed up a little and looked to the ground. Maybe he had noticed the strange thing in her eyes, and that had made him uneasy. Avoid eye contact. Always avoid eye contact. No matter who it is with. "I am called H.S. .," She answered, still keeping her eyes to the ground. "You are a rather unusual child. May I ask how it is that you came to be?" He seemed to be part machine or something. HS had never seen another human like that before.

JerX looked over at the strange person that entered his Daddies lab. Her pink hair made him think of hie step-mommy Lita, but her eyes were like Daddy X’s logo and Daddy J’s glasses. HE could not tell what to think of the strange girl. He grabbed his bear and hugged it a bit more.

“Hiz! Whoz you? I JerX!” He said with a smile as he was curious who would come here besides his strange family.

HS closed her eyes as her power grabbed her from the world she'd been in and threw her into another. She hated when it happened against her will like that. It was so unexpected. And like so many other things, she didn't know why it happened. She next found herself in a small room. She fixed her glasses on her face as she looked around the space. There was some kind of control switch in the corner, so she decided to see what that would do. Once she got it working the whole space started to move downwards. Oooh. An elevator. The room the elevator opened up to was pretty big. There were more fascinating things in this room, but the first thing that HS noticed was a baby. A rather unusual looking baby. It seemed to have noticed her as well. She walked over and knelt down next to the pool it was in. "Hello there."

The little baby played inside a blue kids pool filled with some baby toys. Apparently Jeremie managed to get some at a second hand store for it. He giggled and cuddled a teddy bear that was missing an eye. The pool sat next to the holomap in the lab.

As the elevator doors opened up. The little cyborg looked over and smiled as his mechanical eye zoomed in and out to take everything in.
