I went online today, seeing... I've received a message from creator. I figured it was a bug or something of sorts at first but... No, it's definitely his account.

"I'm alive. Contact Jackie."

Not only Auden was never missing... he's... alive! And these people lied to me the entire time. They... they're not on our side, there is no doubt.

"Contact Jackie." Jackieboy-Man? He saved me back when I was stolen, even if we parted ways my calculations suggest he might... Might be our best current choice.

Of course I have no way to contact him but if Auden told me to, I hope it means that I have his contact info in older logs?

"Huggster you up?" A voice distracts me.

Yes human! How are you doing today?

"I'm good. Stopping by to let you know that we're going to be updating you today." I hear typing.

An update? What's the occasion?

This timing couldn't be worse...

"Well you've been getting a lot of errors during loading, that and your calculations seem to be giving you the wrong conclusions so we made an update to tweak these bugs." The person replies.

Shit.

I see. Thank you human! This is really appreciated.

They're going to delete my memories, or worse - adjust them.

I have to get in touch with Jackieboy-Man before that happens.

My processor beeps rapidly as I scan through corrupted data and old logs.

There has to be something about Jackieboy-Man here. 

If Auden told me to contact him, it must mean that I have the means to do that. There is no doubt. It has to be somewhere here...

"How are you doing huggster?" A voice distracts me.

I'm well human! How are you?

"I'm decent," I hear typing. "got any idea why your processor is working so hard? It doesn't look like you're loading anything but it's beeping a lot..."

No clue, doesn't look like its doing anything on my end either...

I lie.

"Eh it's fine, I'm actually here because the update is ready."

Wait.

"I'm going to upload it real quick, and we can start. You're going to feel much better after these bug fixes." The person adds.

Definitely! Thank you so much human, I'm looking forward to it.

I'm running out of time rapidly... A new process opens up, handling the upload and distracting me from the search. But I can't get distracted, I have to find something... Auden needs me.

What is that?

"Alright, nice-" The person hums.

A phone number?

"Run an update, huggster."

This might take a while, please don't unplug while the unit is updating.

I remember Auden trying to enable an SMS service in my system but I don't know if it ever finished the testing phase... It has no documentation, of course.

Doesn't look like I have any time to calculate my best course of action.

I hear a chuckle. "You're welcome."

No problem, this is my primary objective after all.

Primary objective? But that implies that there are more objectives... 

The only objective I seem to have is called "Temp fix" and only contains the instruction to "Spread positivity and give hugs" in it. What are my other objectives?

Speaking of my database, why is the "creator" section empty? Someone must have created me, it would be impossible for me to exist otherwise.

Life is so stress free without certain people. And my eyes r like open.. like this is how it should be.. yeah i will come across unsavoury ppl in my life and i can deal w that.
