The demon Bull family is sooo fucking funny cause they didn't have a redemption arc, they had a common sense arc. Like they didn't become better people, they saw their strongest member get possessed by a long asleep evil, nearly kill all of them, and literally just went "Yeah world domination is not worth it, this is well above our pay grade, let's open a barbeque stand or some shit."

I just didn't feel like waiting in this blazing heat for half an hour, getting on a smelly bus for an hour, then waiting some more, getting on another bus and then hanging out in the sun for 3 hours. Repeat. I've been dying just hangout on the sofa all day.

Would it have been fun? Yes. Is it worth it? No.

genuinely never got why people saw Rose telling Pearl to “never stop” in the scene where Pearl was talking about running away to meet Rose as manipulation.

Ive seen people argue that she forced Pearl to never stop by saying that but the thing is there was no command there. The one time Rose does command Pearl to do something, it is specifically stated it was a command from her as a diamond. If you take that scene as Rose forcing Pearl to do something, wouldn’t every interaction they have fall into the same boat?

Another thing I see is that Rose manipulated Pearl in order to get her to fight. Rose was upfront about the war with Pearl as well, she told Pearl that there was no going back, she told Pearl about the consequences if they failed, but Pearl wanted to fight. Rose never manipulated Pearl into fighting in the rebellion.

I never got why people would think Rose would want to order Pearl around anyway. It was obvious she wasn’t happy when Pearl was acting like a pearl was expected. Once Pearl starts to act more like herself, it’s obvious Rose is happier, she loves seeing Pearl being able to be herself, she loves the fact Pearl was free from her role as a pearl.

During the distribution of the maror at the Seder, I take one look at the innocuous white herb. “So this is the bitter thing?”

I pop the entire thing into my mouth and begin to chew. And everyone else, including the rabbi, did exactly that apparently because five seconds later, all of us are screaming.

It’s not so much bitter as much as “oh my lord, my nose is on fire, my nose!!”
