This post is really late. We’re so sorry ^^;; Both us mods have been insanely caught up with our internships so we apologize. 

Thank you to everyone who participated! Even if you ended up dropping out, we sincerely hope to see you back again next time! 

We’re extremely grateful for every person that cheered this little challenge on and helped promote it! We really hope to keep this a yearly event, so we hope to see you again next year! 

Considering how small our fandom is, we were so thrilled to see that people participated and seemed to have fun! 

We do realize things were a little rocky and spotty considering the running of the challenge and the change in schedules, etc. We’ll do our best to make it more organized as we get better at running this challenge. 

In lieu of that, if there are any suggestions you would like to make, any feedback you would like us to consider for next year, please do let us know! This is a collaborative effort. This challenge wouldn’t exist without our participants and supporters. Hello Writers! We hope you’re well on your way to adding finishing touches to your writing masterpieces and that they sit beta’d and ready to go! 

Posting begins tomorrow, September 1st! The schedule has been sent out and we can’t wait to see what everyone has in store :D 

RULES/GUIDELINES: 

1 All fics have to be posted to AO3. We have set up a collection on AO3 where all works have to be submitted. Once your fic is live on AO3, please add it to the collection here. 

2. Please make sure your fic is tagged appropriately in accordance with AO3 rules. 

3. Once your fic is posted to AO3, please head on over to the submit tab on the blog and submit a post by filling the following template:

As we near our posting date, September 1st, we hope that everyone is well on their way to finalizing their fics!

The posting schedule has been emailed! Please check your inboxes.

If there are any issues regarding the date you have been assigned, please contact us immediately. While we hope that you can stick to that date you've been assigned, we do understand that personal and work commitments may prevent that.

We are so excited for everyone to start posting soon!

We will have another post up in a day or two with instructions regarding posting of your fics. Please keep a lookout.

If you have not received an email and have signed up, please immediately contact us! 

You have until the end of the day of AUGUST 16th to reply to the email and send in your rough drafts. If you wish to drop out, this is your last chance to do so without penalty. 

As mentioned earlier, failure to respond to check-in will result in a warning which you will have 24 hours to respond to. Any further absence of response will result in disqualification and inability to participate in future events.

Check in is 3 days away! 

To be fair to everyone in different time zones, check in emails will be sent on the August 14th. Details will be mentioned in the email. You will have until the end of the day of August 16th to reply to the email and send in your rough drafts.

Reminder: Your drafts need to be at least 50% of the way done, with the remaining outlined so that we know you have a plan/intend to finish.  

Since this is the first ever challenge of this kind within our fandom, if there are any issues, please bring them to our attention. 

If there is a chance you do not meet draft requirements, please bring them to our attention. It’s not the be all, end all. If there is a way to work around it, we will do our best to accommodate everyone.

Announcement Post *IMP*

As you all know, this challenge was delayed slightly owing to the fact that your mods have been caught up with work and real life issues. However, we’ve managed to find a balance. We apologize for the wait. 

NEW *UPDATED* SCHEDULE

1st May // Announcement & Sign Ups Open

1st August  // Sign Ups Close

15th August // Writers Check In and Rough Draft Submission (you must have completed 50% of your fic at this point) 

1st September // Posting Begins

ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

1. We have, unfortunately, had no artist sign ups. Hence this challenge is being converted to a writing challenge. We apologize for the change, however, this decision has not been taken lightly. Mod Remy and I have discussed at length about this decision and we apologize to any that may have been looking forward to artworks accompanying their fics. 

However, it’s still a wonderful challenge and we thank all the writers that signed up and we are so excited to see the amazing writing and story telling that comes out of this event! 

Sign ups are still open until August 1st for writers and betas! Follow the sign up link on this post to sign up! Go, go, go! 

2. During check-in, an email will be sent to participants with an attached form to fill out regarding your progress with your fic. An announcement post will be made on check-in day to remind everyone of the same. We do ask for a rough draft of your fic that is at least 50% complete with the remaining fic outlined just so we know where everyone stands. More details will be provided as we get closer to the check-in. 

3. Check-in day (August 15th) is also the last day you are allowed to drop out without consequences. Failure to inform/check-in and not being in touch with mods when requested may result in being blacklisted from participating in future events. 

4. Posting dates will be assigned after check-in. More details will follow regarding the same.

Hey! I'm so glad you found us! Mod Remy and I discussed and since we haven't given an updated schedule yet (it's coming soon, I promise! I'm sorry for the delay) we've decided you can still sign up! The more people on board, the merrier.
