why are you on team suho? what are your favorite things about him! id love to know!!

Hi anon, honestly I saw this question and hopped on my laptop to better answer it. I spend an insane amount of time thinking about Lee Suho, and it’s not that I just rooted for him to get the girl,I just wanted him to gain his happiness however that was achieved. Because he honestly deserved it. He is also such a deeply complex character that can’t be just throw into a Tsundere who turns soft for his FL. It’s much more than that, and I love it.  

When we meet Suho, he saves Juju, this person he doesn’t know, from committing the same act that cost him his best friend. Despite not knowing her, he told her off, because he didn’t want whoever loved her to go through what he was going. That alone made me feel for him, especially with the knowledge that Suho was basically alone in this world. He lost his mom at a young age, his dad was rarely around, by the time dad realizes maybe he needs to be a better dad, he’s almost a grown man and by that point he’s like wtf is the point if you wanting me around. And even though he’s a total tsundere, because my boy has no social skills (you can verify this with his hot and cold behavior), and is also dealing with some deep rooted guilt (doesn’t help when your ex bff tells you he wants you to die, then he’ll forgive you, like idc what anyone says, that shit hurts). And honestly when his behavior gets called out by Taehoon, he starts trying to be warmer, he tries to be there for Jugyeong just as she was there for him. (I have whole analysis on Suho on this very blog btw, check them out if this long winded ass answer doesnt’ scare you away)

Now my favorite things about him? How fiercely loyal he is, even though Seojun hated his guts, he still didn’t want his friend to lose his mom so he convinced douche doctor to help Seojun’s mom. Because he knows how awful it is to lose a parent, he doesn’t want him to go through that. And honestly Suho comes off as once he accepts you into his life as an important person, you’re there forever. It’s why once they reconcile, Seojun continued to fill that bff spot that he had left vacant. Also despite everything that went down with his dad, he went to the US to be with him, despite it meaning he was leaving his life in Korea behind. He took care of his dad, even though it killed him to be away from Jugyeong, his duty as a son came before everything else. 

I love how much he loves Jugyeong honestly? Like, he’s so caring, he worries for her a lot, and it can be a lot at times, especially at the beginning, but if you think about it, even before they dated, Juju was the only real friend/buddy he had, someone who offered themselves to him to be there for him if he needed it, and I def think that was one of the major factors in him falling for her. But also just, these two dorks are perfect for each other (the drama af dreams they have about each other, I was like yep, y’all belong together). Also he fully supports Juju 100% at all times. Even when he was being a jealous lil booger, he was the first one to apologize. He LEARNS, he GROWS and that’s *chefs kiss*

None of this probs makes sense, but like, I just love Lee Suho alot. Also HERE all all my metas, there’s two on Suho.
