whew! time got away from me but i'm finally back at a computer. Sorry about the delay :) I might be a little while longer before I'm ready to post the next chapter of Anrisivé unfortunately, but I'm already stretching my drawing muscles again.

Hmm. Banning a user for no clear reason (besides discriminatory ones), making a deal to sell data to an AI company...

Tumblr is currently doing 2/3 things that made me leave deviantArt. Well, ultimately my goal here wasn't to find a new home so much as to spread my art across as many websites as possible, so I'll probably keep that philosophy going. I'll do my best to make sure any other locations I upload to link to each other so it's easier to find, of course.

Hello to you all, this is very different than the kind of art I usually post, but this is too important of a topic to ignore, especially personally. So I wanted to make a drawing of Handala, in memory of his creator and in support of the people of Gaza.

Tomorrow, the ICJ will convene to announce their provisional ruling in regards to the South Africa vs. Israel case, regarding violations of the Genocide Convention in Gaza. If you have not seen the court case so far, South Africa's case can be viewed here.

The scenery is based on photos that can be viewed here, with permission from the photographer.

Sannyo early art trend

I've noticed a strange trend with some Sannyo fan art. For a period of time, her damaged zun art was better circulated than her undamaged zun art. Not only that, she's pretty chill about being defeated and looks relatively fine. So there is a surprising amount of art that treats her damaged outfit like it's her actual design. As an example here's some art I found on Deviantart by "inverseautotroph"

[ Lets ignore the fact that it looks like either Sannyo has grown giant or Reimu has grown tiny]. We can see the broken sleeves from her damaged art have been incorporated into her outfit as though they were tailored that way. (Looks cool though)

This is just one type of example, but it's relatively unique in that it's redesigned her whole outfit though.

There's also a lot of art that just has her outfit damaged but with Sannyo acting as though that's how she's always dressed. Even just google image search will give you a lot of those.

So it appears there was actually a surprising amount of people who thought her damaged art was her original design.

I suppose it's an understandable mistake since she looks so smug even after damage.

Well, I think that's all the art I've made. Hello! It's been quite a while, I'm inverseAutotroph, formerly miniboy-central-station.

I've decided to reawaken my tumblr blog as deviantArt is becoming more and more of a hostile place for us weirdos who want to mind our own business, so I'm trying to spread my creative output on more than one website just in case things go awry.

Not quite finished, but I figured it might be a good idea to post this here before it's lost to the ether entirely. This is the male lead from a small F/m story idea I was writing last year, before I put it on hold. His name is Laz! Safiya's partner, who was also transported to the same fantasy realm that Safiya did, but the witch that sent them didn't give him... quite the same deal. Now he's a fairy. Getting isekai'd could have gone better. I may post the WIP pages for their little short story at some point, but they're still very rough at this point in time.

And here's the girl from the F/m idea. Her name's Safiyah! She's actually originally from "our" world (or at least, something close to it), but got transported to a fantasy world by a witch with some cryptic requests. In return, she was given the sick magical girl gear. Her roommate, who also got transported was... not so lucky, in some ways, but I'll post him and what the witch turned him into a little later. Safiyah, meanwhile, is a total nerd and is having the time of her life like this. Getting isekai'd could have gone worse!

This one's also from the M/m story idea. He usually goes by Jamra, though his full name is much, much longer than even whats written on the sheet. He's a jinn! He's Iliyah's boyfriend/coworker and lives in the little lantern he carries around. He can be a bit boastful, but if the kind of stories he tells are true, maybe he's earned it. Iliyah found him slumbering under the ocean waves in an ancient prison built by forgotten sorcerors, and offered him freedom (in return perhaps for some assistance with work). Jamra had nothing better to do, so he agreed. His size is amorphous, as is common for jinns, but its easiest on himself to be around a foot tall, at most.

Hello! Hope all of you have been staying safe in these times. Still trying to find a moment to make progress on art again myself. I realized that while I made a bunch of OC sheets for a set of short comics about a year ago, I never actually uploaded them? Whoops! So I'm going to upload the ones that were more or less finished (which is three), just so I have them online. These are the main characters for a set of short comics I was drawing, and hopefully I'll finish them some day! If I can get Anrisive moving again, I might return to them. The stories were each M/m, F/m, and F/f, and here we have one of the characters from the first one! His name's Iliyah, he's a twink. He works as a traveling magi, going from place to place to help people with their spirit issues and whatnot. Think something a little like Mushishi or Shaman King, which were major sources of reference for him. He keeps his boyfriend in a lantern. Hope some of you find this of interest, and sorry about the radio silence! Art has been difficult recently, but hopefully due to some things changing for me I can try to get back into it in earnest.
