Today these ( or very similar) and other works went on a field trip to @fieldtripbalhannah in the Adelaide Hills. Omg to say I’m excited about it is an understatement. I am now going to make some more of these birds in swimming suits amongst other things. I never thought that a little idea I had almost a decade ago, a play on the words ‘bird bath’ starting with watercolour illustrations of cheeky birds in swimming suits would grow and eventually become a 3D sculptural piece of art.
