— hey there darling, i’m sorry this took me so long ! i’ve been busy with school work and helping my partner recently. i hope this is okay <3

summary : how would ranmaru comfort reader ?

pronouns : unspecified.

genre : fluff/comfort.

warning : mentions of panic attacks + mentions of having trouble breathing.

ranmaru is a naturally awkward person, so i see him being rather confused at first, he’d be unsure about what he needs to do in order to support you. he will most likely sit by you at first, hoping that works.

if sitting with you doesn’t help, he will wrap his arms around you and will pull you into his close embrace - still giving you room to breathe, though.

if you frequently have panic attacks or anything of the sort then he would quickly catch onto what’s best to do in such a situation.

typically, he will hold you close to his chest and will allow you to listen to his heartbeat as he runs his hand through your hair - all while he slowly rocks you both backwards and forwards.

if you were to have difficulty breathing then he would quietly whisper when to breathe in and out with a soothing voice. he would guide you through the whole process in a comforting manner that would make anyone feel safe and at home.

overall, he would be pretty bad at comforting you at first but would eventually come to his senses, quickly hurrying to help you. ranmaru wouldn’t make eye contact with you as he understands that could make things more stressful, he also wouldn’t touch you without your consent unless necessary. he’s understanding of your situation <3

I’ve been slightly inactive lately and I want to apologize for that- (I am getting to your requests I promise i just cannot think for some reason) And I’ve only now noticed that we reached 50 followers!
