Somewhere out there in the night there is a little boy. He sits in front of his bedroom closet, flashlight in hand and he waits. He looks up when the clock strikes midnight. He opens the bag next to him and takes out a raw chicken breast, laying it on the floor next to the closet.

Long fingers crawl out from under the door, nails hooking it into the flesh before dragging it under.

"Is it enough?" The boy asks.

"For now." It replies. "Though your baby sister would be tastier."

"Never." The boy hisses.

"Then my dear boy," the creature smiles widely, breathing against the thin paneling of the door, "You must choose someone else..."
