hiii sorry i came from your perfume post do you have any recommendations possibly on smelling something akin to brown sugar oatmeal itsmy faaaaavorite smell ever

hi!! omg i know exactly the smell, like the whiff you get from opening one of the instant packets. i love it too! warm gourmands are some of my favorite perfumes ever.

unfortunately, as far as i know, no one has attempted to make an exact “brown sugar oatmeal” scent :( but here are some that might be reminiscent:

parfums de marly — oajan 🥐🍯 a sweet, cinnamon-honey scent that reminds me of a patisserie. some people compare this one to angel’s share by killian, but there’s no apple or booze in oajan. dries down into a sweet, spicy vanilla and lasts a long time.

kerosene — followed 🥞🧈☕️ breakfast in a bottle! i’ve heard this one described as the smell of walking into a coffee shop. be warned, though, that the projection is HUGE. don’t be surprised if people start asking “who’s making pancakes?” when you walk past them

giardini di toscana — bianco latte 🥛🧁🍨 a rich, creamy vanilla. this smells a little bit like a can of sweetened condensed milk. as it dries, you will get more caramel and honey. lactic notes aren’t for everyone, but the creaminess here could totally be what you’re looking for.

zoologist — harvest mouse 🌾🐁🍯 hear me out. this is brown sugar oatmeal if you were eating in your backyard on a warm summer day. it has a fresh, grassy smell that cuts through the sweetness. dries into a complex (but still fresh!) vanilla. zoologist is an avant garde brand so this is not a safe blind buy, but maybe something to keep in mind 💓 of all the ones i recommended, this one reminds me the most of “oats”

honorable mention: bath and body works warm sugar vanilla. it’s a classic for a reason :’)
