Sorry for the laziness of posting, I've been a little but with my re installment back into the blog world is the NBA. Usually around this time we would all be on twitter talking about the season opening NBA games, well at least I would. However, the greed and ego's of the owners and players has put a delay on the season. So here's a clip of the "Virtual Opener" which ask questions that many of us (NBA fans) ponder as the lock out continues.

R&B lately hasn't been the topic of conversations in regards to different generas of music, mainly because many artists are conforming to their labels in which they release these black-eyed peas 100bpm records in order to gain popularity and sales. No disrespect to any artist who are creating this kind of music but it only works for a handful of people.  Recently Jill Scott released a great album, LLoyd dropped his fourth album which is pretty good.
Now we have a new girl on the block (sort of) her name is Bridget Kelly if you went to  the blue print three tour she's the girl who sang Alicia Key's part on empire state of mind by Jay-Z and is part of the Roc Nation camp. This is  her new track called "Thinking about forever " written by Frank Ocean. He actually leaked his version of the song but I think Bridget sounds better singing it than him. (My opinion)
P.S.
Labels execs if you have any sense make this her single. Also Program directors need to add this to their rotation.
Enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago I posted the a video previewing the match up of Dyckman basketball tournament Team Ooh Way vs Team Nike and now here is the recap of that game. The court was crowded everyone was in attendance from Lebron James, to Jadakiss and every basketball fan.
I must say this summer streetball tournaments have been very popular and I'm happy to see that kids are still active and participating.  Dyckman has been the most famous one and out of all New York City tournaments. But none the less I'm glad people still show support to these local players. The NBA administration can learn a thing or two from the people who create these summer tournaments.

Above is a video about Watch The Throne album and how Jay & Kanye don't really need a single nor to really do a promo run speaking the sales nor album. In my opinion these two artist can do what ever and it will still sell.

Folks check out “The End of Summer Mix” by one of New York’s up and coming dj and a good friend of mine “Dj Asmooth. This mix is an assortment of Top 40 and House music with a little blend of hip hop, mostly all songs popular around the globe. It’s been 10 months since his last Mixtape, and it was definitely time to put something out.

With it being summer tis the season for streetball. This year's tournament that is the talk of the town is the Dyckman Park tournament. The video above is episode 5 in which yesterday was the game of the decade. I was not able to attend the game but according to twitter Dyckman was the scene to be, Lebron James, Amare Stoudermire, and  Blake Griffin were in attendance to witness the street ball game of the decade. Team Nike vs Ooh way records.
I must say growing up in New York City and participating in basketball tournaments across the tri-state area I'm happy to see street ball being acknowledge by many people. Dyckman Park basketball has come a long way. But disappointed with  Rucker Park (EBC).
I'm a Harlem knight so I can say that Rucker's biggest mistake was going with Reebok as a sponsor. SMH. Oh well congrats Dyckman Park much deserve.

Last month Macys closed down the booth on the 4th floor. So tell celebrate had various of New York City djs to come by and jump on the set one last time. Macys right now is probably hurting because the booth was a staple and it put consumers in a good mood to shop. Corporate America when will you learn. Anyways enough ranting, (LOL) check out the footage also at 4:50 my little cameo/speech. Enjoy!

5 Rules of Facebook Etiquette
I found this to be pretty funny. However certain people on Facebook do not quiet understand the concept of what to share on social media sites. Check it out.
1. DO write a personal message when making a friend request. If you haven’t talked to the person in years, it’s likely he or she may not remember you, says Linda Fogg Phillips, a social media expert and author of Facebook for Parents. Just go with a short message that puts you in context, like, “Haven’t seen you since college! Let’s reconnect.”
Want to friend someone you’ve never met? Send a separate message before making a friend request. Otherwise, you can seem intrusive, not to mention presumptuous, and they may ignore you. In the message, explain yourself -- that a mutual pal suggested you connect, for example -- then wait for a response before sending the friend request. 2. DON’T be a Debbie Downer. It’s OK to vent and commiserate on Facebook, but if you make it a regular habit, your pals will get tired of your grumbles. Instead, stay positive and hold back when angry. That way, you’ll never regret an online rant. “You can delete a post, but you can’t erase the words from [the minds of] the people who’ve already read it,” says Phillips. 3. DO make and manage friend lists. “The list function is one of Facebook’s best tools,” says Phillips. It allows you to choose who sees certain posts, so you can set it so only your college pals see those bachelorette party photos. Phillips suggests creating an “A List,” of your closest friends and family. Then, make a larger family or friends list, a list of work contacts and so on. (Friends can be part of more than one list.) 4. DON’T make Facebook a popularity contest. Do you really need -- or want -- 800 friends? “Studies have shown that people can only manage about 150 relationships in their lives -- face-to-face or online,” says Phillips. When you get a request from someone you don’t want to befriend, neither confirm nor decline it. (If you decline, she could send another later.) Don’t worry about offending her: “Most people send requests, then forget about them; they may not even notice you aren’t responding,” says Phillips. 5. DO be careful of what you post. It seems obvious, but even something as benign as “The weekend cannot come soon enough!” may appear sour to your boss or co-worker. Plus, your next job opportunity could come from a Facebook contact, so always cast yourself in a positive light, says Phillips. Making and managing friend lists helps avoid problems, but also apply a common-sense filter to all posts.
When people run into Facebook etiquette problems, it’s usually because they’ve taken liberties they might not have taken in the non-virtual world. But stop for a second and use your common sense, and you’ll master the manners of Facebook in less time than it takes to poke your old college roomie.
