I saw a cosplay (from @ hayleychristine_ on Tik tok) of Dazai in a Hunting Dog uniform.

And I'm just imagining how that could've happened.

What if when Dazai went to Cheif Taneda he pointed him not to the Agency, but to the Hunting Dogs?

It wouldn't even be that far fetched to let him join because Jouno himself is an ex executive of a criminal organisation.

They've hid his crimes even without perfect crime, who's to say they couldn't hide Dazai's.

This is all part of Fukuchi's whole plan to start a war to prevent one. Having someone like Dazai join his ranks definitely helps with strategy and such.

Tachihara is undercover at the Port Mafia and Dazai would be very good at helping him fit in... while trolling him.

Tecchou was genuine about the plaster on the nose as a disguise, Dazai was somehow both genuine and fucking with him.

To everyone Dazai just straight up vanishes for years and shows up in Yokohama hunting the Agency.

Imagine the "You fucked up Detective Agency" Chuuya rescue is the first time Chuuya sees Dazai in the present.

Man's definitely laughing at the ridiculous uniform, like oh I guess the government are letting in anyone these days.

But there's something off about Dazai that Chuuya can't put his finger on.... And than there's the reveal of the surgeries.

That Dazai was experimented on in the name of justice and he really went that far to be on the side that saves lives. Because he truly didn't have any other options.

Chuuya kicking his ass, Dazai revealing it was all because he knew Fukuchi was up to something. And yet he does genuinely like the Hunting Dogs.

Dazai drags Tecchou into his schemes to piss off Jouno. He and Jouno are too menaces and not allowed to go out unsupervised anymore.

Dazai thinks Teruko is both cool and scary. He takes Tachihara under his wing and makes sure he doesn't blow his cover.

And they like his dumb but smart ass self. Fukuchi though, Fukuchi is not included in that family.

Dazai realising why Odasaku sacrificed everything for his kids.

And declaring that Fukuchi won't take them all away from him.

So the Port Mafia's newest and one of its oldest traitors, Tachihara and Dazai band together against Fukuchi to expose him.

Dazai teaming up with the Agency after Fukuchi takes our Tachihara and Jouno. He talks down Tecchou and gets him and Teruko on his side.

He doesn't grieve Fukuchi but he does wish it didn't have to end like this.

Having a traumatic childhood means you cannot talk even objectively about your basic foundational experiences without it being "venting", even if you're not actually venting. You just straight up have a huge chunk of your life you can't talk about, full stop, without it being trauma dumping.

And it not being socially acceptable to talk about your own childhood is super alienating. Sometimes people want to know why, and any answer you can give them is going to be off putting.

It's to the point I get irritated when something I said is framed as venting when I'm literally just talking about my life experiences, doing my best to keep emotion out of it.

Fictive heavy Plural culture is being so fucking pissed off that people for some reason assume you’re faking being a system if you Roleplay. Like- that’s literally our only way to express ourselves for who we are because we’re so isolated and don’t talk to anyone but our mother irl, who we’re scared to tell we’re not the host, so when we switch, no one will know and it’s so fucking lonely never being called your actual name or treated as who you are and Roleplay is our only escape from that.

Does this make sense? Probably not, I’m just annoyed.
