Thanks for all the responses guys, you've really helped me to understand this. I don't know if anyone else cared about this but, to summarise:
Watcher Membership offers a much smaller range of content to what Dropout TV offers, especially as well looking at range of content creators
Watcher Membership does not offer different or very different content to what was offered on the Watcher YouTube channel, whereas Dropout TV offered more long form content compared to College Humor's short form sketch comedy content
The transition between Dropout TV to College Humor was much smoother compared to the hard cut off from YouTube that Watcher was offering
Some people were under the impression that Watcher would remove their back catalogue of content (although I don't think this was ever the case)
Also there was some backlash against College Humor moving to Dropout TV, it was just smaller
Thanks guys, and please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :)
Can I ask and this is a genuine question like I just want to understand, why do people take issue with watcher using their own platform for their content but as far as I know no one really takes issue with dropout and college humour employing the same model?
They're both channels that are really popular on here so hoping someone has an answer.
