Knetizens have connected some dots, fueling speculation that a major decisionmaker at HYBE is involved in a Korean cult and has attempted to indoctrinate members of various groups into the cult.
This would not be the first time a decisionmaker at a kpop agency has been linked to cult activities.

Are our favorite kpop idols drastically altering their vocals in post-production?
According to an audio engineer that answer is YES -
"As an audio engineer… fans have no clue that without skilled recording engineers, mixing engineers and mastering engineers… your favorite stars won’t sound as great. We literally make bad songs sound good, EQ the vocals to the point that our ears just bleed, producers and managers are the worst!
Little do they know too, we’re treated poorly by them (unless youre some big shot composer/producer who also steal our credits). Worked in a few studios and company for these kpop stars, I seriously hate the Kpop industry."
What do you think about the audio mixing problem in kpop! Too much of a good thing? Or never good to begin with?
