finishing the week off with rowena tsai and week 2 of her #operationunpotato <3 its such a great the end of the year catharsis activity. also, 3 more papers and im free for the year !!!

things i accomplished today:

submitted 2 reflection papers for one class

took my last math exam ^ 

drafted the rest of my papers

journaled + set-up my 2021 journal/commonplace book !!

Yesterday was my birthday and I got everything I wanted: new friends, flowers, new mugs and an amazing book. I even got an eclipse as a gift from de universe, and I was so so happy. It was the most perfect birthday ever.

these notes were really fun to write and i think hey turned out pretty well! i had never done this style of lettering before but i think it’s pretty cute and although the lenin drawing is definitely a little bit dodgy (i just couldn’t get the eyes right), it isn’t as bad as it totally could’ve been ���

so like a black turtle neck jump/top thing with a a checked skirt and black tights. i then pair that with some nice boots (wither high heeled or chunky ones) and then a trench coat and big scarf. it is the best outfit ever

I've decided that it's easier to summarise than do question-answer flashcards for practicals, so I'm working on these between online classes :) I'm mildly stressed about revision, but I think I've got enough time over this week and the holidays 🤞

also have to work on not feeling guilty if i don’t study all the time

bc u know what: i don’t want to overwork myself, i want to enjoy life and if i therefore don’t have The best grades… idc

getting through my days by eating delicious food, sleeping enough and reaching out to family & friends

2021.01.15. the last couple of days have been pleasantly white here, let that be because of frost or snow, and I'm finally feeling like it's winter!

I also have way too much stuff to do, presentations, studying, gift-making for my dad's birthday. getting motivation to do all of that is also a challenge, most definitely 😂

it's also the end of semester next week, but fortunately my teachers haven't gone crazy over fix-it-tests to lift people's grades last minute, which is a first in many years. I suppose that's a good side of online learning!

No one has everything together. “having it all” Is a very well constructed lie, you can do very well with your school, your health but your social life will be lacking. You could have enough family time, focus on health but your work will be lacking. You cannot devote your energy 100% into everything you do, if you think you do, you’ll find your mental health is taking a toll. 

Don’t feel like your life is out of your control simply because you’re failing in one aspect of it, it’s the same for everyone. No one has it all, so focus on the things that DO MATTER and prioritise in that order, it’ll be okay. Allow yourself to be human.

i got these dot pens for christmas and i am currently obsessed with them! i really like using them for titles and then writing the letters in with my white pen (which i also got for christmas and need to thank @sosiaalitieteet for the recommendation on which one to get)
