I want to write a book called “your character dies in the woods” that details all the pitfalls and dangers of being out on the road & in the wild for people without outdoors/wilderness experience bc I cannot keep reading narratives brush over life threatening conditions like nothing is happening.
I just read a book by one of my favorite authors whose plots are essentially airtight, but the MC was walking on a country road on a cold winter night and she was knocked down and fell into a drainage ditch covered in ice, broke through and got covered in icy mud and water.
Then she had a “miserable” 3 more miles to walk to the inn.
Babes she would not MAKE it to that inn.

i know it probably won’t be this BUT i’ve been entertaining myself thinking about what if alice and sam find the tape with episode 200 (maybe minus the part with basira n friends) in the ruins of the magnus institute and they just stare at each other like:

while listening to
guy from computer doing a murder
guy from computer lore dumping
SECOND guy from computer yelling at guy from computer for doing a murder
GUYS FROM COMPUTER ARE GAY FOR EACH OTHER? love wins.
what’s this about traveling other dimensions?
second guy from computer doing a murder. love loses.

The fact that Tesla autopilots abort self driving 1 second before a crash so the company can state “self driving wasn’t active during the collision” should be grounds to dismantle the entire company.
Like, seriously, if you’re making 4000 pound death machines, and you program this shit to work on a technicality? Your company should be dismantled. Gone. No recourse. Just terrible shit dude

i need some genuine advice.
i have this buddy who happens to be jewish, and the topic of the genocide in Palest!ne came up in a conversation between us. She has some pretty pro Isr@eli beliefs, but was open to having that sort of conversation with me. I am fully in support of Palest!ne and have hope that my friend can change and come to a realization about what is ACTUALLY going on.
How would I go about talking to her about this while being truthful and still being respectful of her own identity?
