Milo didn't waste any time and dynamaxed his Eldegoss, so I did the same with Blipl.

Episode 29

Milo sent Gossifleur and I sent Blipl. First we tried to set up by using reflect while his pokémon attacked us with Round.

Then seeing it did almost nothing, Milo changed strategy to hit us with rapid spin, and thanks to our reflect it did nothing and we were able to counter with struggle bug and destroy that first pokémon.

Entering the gym was awesome! the hallway, the door, the lights announcing you were there...and then, the announcer telling the whole stadium your name and explaining the rules for the challenge.

Speaking of which...terrorizing Wooloos was such a great experience. They were supposed to be hard to guide, but I found out that they only needed proper motivation.

Same with the rest of the Gym Trainers. James and Blipl were in charge to provide them with "Great motivation".

Luna wanted to stop this bully all by herself, so we let her and she ended up biting our way out the mines.

Trainers that were not injured helped us get some medical atention for those that needed it. A lot of them will not be able to complete the Gym Challenge because of this...we will never forgive Bede.

We'll keep on moving and our next stop is Turffield, which is right outside this end of the tunnel

Through the dust we saw a silhouette. The one responsible for the landslide. Bede.

He's determined to win the Gym Challenge and in order to do so, he used his pokémon to destroy the mines, hurting a big chunk of the Gym Challengers and putting them out of comission for the rest of it.

We were lucky enough to have avoided mayor injuries, but we couldn't let it slide. Luna knew first hand the effects of being bullied and was eager to teach Bede a lesson.

We didn't have time. People were hurting and needed a path to leave the mines. The ones that were still unharmed were digging, even with their bare hands, while others tried to put everyone else in a safer place.

A little fella saw our struggle and decided to help, and in just seconds managed not only to clear the exit but to make sure that we were free from any other danger. We were saved because of him.

His name was Diego, and after some curry he decided to join in.

Our journey led us to a cave system. Everything was filled with gemstones and colors! it's so pretty! Suddenly we heard a loud noise and saw dirt all over the place. In the third route Blipl and James defeated all the trainers. They were so impressive that a wild female Rookidee fell in love with James, and asked to join us to cheer on James.

We saw no harm in her request, so she became part of the family to support us from home.

James was really hungry and loved the curry I made. He loved it so much that decided to join our team.

So far we have Flagou the scorbunny, Ricoh the bulbasaur, Luna the alolan meowth, Blipl the blipbug and James the Rookidee. We’re one pokémon short from having a full team! Once we are complete we’ll be able to challenge our first gym.
