Also keep in mind that doctors won't always know these/will dismiss women's symptoms because they are women. This includes female doctors, too! My mother was having symptoms of pain and pressure in her chest, back pain, both arms going numb, and extreme shortness of breath for weeks. All her (female) docter did was dismiss her symptoms (assuming the left-arm numbness applied to everyone), and prescribed her an inhaler. She died about a week later.

Heart attacks symptoms are different for women. I recently learned this.
