Game Introduction Summary

The official Live Emotion twitter has uploaded this new visual showcasing some alternate looks at previously revealed in-game content.

There will be more official announcements made soon. I have moved from @shiningliive to cover Live Emotion here, and I will shortly stop cross posting to both accounts.

In comparison to what we saw previously:

1. Home - Top bar shows 55/10 LP (at Rank 10). Also shows 124 of the yet unnamed rainbow crystals that are likely used for the gacha. The bottom left box reads "Pickup Piece Gacha" and has multiple pages it will slide through showing up current content (events etc). Red diamonds on the main icons are in different spots, highlighting that it does indeed indicate new/unseen content by the player on those screens.

2. Talk - Same as seen previously, but with Otoya instead of Syo.

3. Live - A big one, its now confirmed that there are more than 2 tap icons for the rhythm game portion! Unknown if changes depending on difficulty. Likely since this screenshot shows a combo of 399. Otherwise, the layout is the same.

4. Pieces - First look at a UR with this dance Eiichi piece titled 'Glorious Bright' that is maxed at level 90 with a total score of 6460, a sing total of 2179, dance of 2110, charm of 2161, and 62 life points. The 4 diamonds to the right of the pieces title are all filled in, likely each diamond filled in to indicate the level of piece awakening since the piece is at max. The reward for unlocking the bonuses is different to the rainbow crystals seen previously.

5. Story - Similar to previous story showcase. Likely from the same initial main story.

6. MiniPri - A bit more of an expanded look at Minipri with the UI now visible. It's difficult to read, but there are buttons to customise the room. It also confirms you can have multiple Minipri Rooms.

New Promotional Video

With each group now having their Live Emotion group song MV previewed, there is a new promotional video for the game with a few new shots of the members together.

The third and final part of the retweet campaign has started. Follow the official Live Emotion Twitter account and retweet this tweet to enter. Campaign ends May 28th (JST).

There is currently a retweet campaign running on the Live Emotion twitter account. The winners will each receive a 1000 yen Amazon Giftcard. There will be three stages, each stage having 200 winners. Stage 1 ends on May 14th.

Stage 2 will commence on May 15th, and stage 3 on May 22nd. Likely matching the dates Quartet Night and Heavens MV clips may be posted.

Applications are apparently only open to Japanese residents.

Live Emotion Group Intro - QUARTET NIGHT ♬

From the official Twitter: "Quartet Night is an idol group belonging to Shining Agency, and consists of four members: Kotobuki Reiji, Kurosaki Ranmaru, Mikaze Ai, and Camus. The group was formed by bringing together the individual talents of members who were originally pursuing solo careers in other fields like music, dramas, film, and variety shows."

I got a ticket to Star Treasure Moonshine!!!!!!!!!! However it is in the middle stands, which is the furthest area I entered the ticket lottery for so I have to decide if Im prepared to drop everything, and go through the stress and financial expense of travelling to Japan for a middle stands seat aaaa!

Updated with the management letter that was posted on the 12th of May. I wonder if we'll also get something on the 19th and 26th to keep the post pattern consistent.

I would guess the dates and times (in JST) for next group of news we get is:

Wednesday May 15th 7pm - Quartet Night 'Song Letter' MV clip Wednesday May 15th 8pm - Quartet Night Retweet Campaign starts

Friday May 17th 7pm - Quartet Night Group Introduction

Wednesday May 22nd 7pm - Heavens 'Glorious Angels' MV clip Wednesday May 22nd 8pm - Heavens Retweet Campaign starts

Friday May 24th 7pm - Heavens Group Introduction

That leaves May 25-June 11 (or May 29-June 12 if you count the 3rd RT campaign) clear for more announcements before the game releases on the 12th. I'd guess no announcement on the 25th so soon after the Heavens introduction, so at the very least probably something on May 29th and June 5th. We still need a proper look at the Piece Gacha system and probably some full teaser trailer videos and ads for the game like Shining Live had.

Likely also smaller announcements of rewards if certain milestones are hit for amount of pre-registered users etc, but so far nothing like that has been announced.

“UTA NO PRINCE-SAMA LIVE EMOTION” - MANAGEMENT LETTER.

Nice to meet you, everyone, This is the management team of “Uta no Prince-sama LIVE EMOTION”. As the release date approaches, we have issued a management letter. Today, we would like to tell you about the app prior to its release.

"Uta no Prince-sama LIVE EMOTION" is an app that focuses on adding color to the daily lives of idols and everyone. “I want to enjoy the music.” “I want to enjoy it as a fan.” “I want to go back to basics and have fun.” etc. We create products that can be enjoyed by a variety of play styles.

In preparation for release, we are also brushing up the content shown in the game introduction videos that we posted recently. This time, I would like to share with you some information that could not be covered in the game introduction videos alone.

LIVE (RHYTHM GAME): There are four levels of difficulty, and the number of lanes and notes will change depending on the difficulty level. You can also customise the speed of notes, turn off live MV, swap to still background display, change screen brightness, etc.

HOME/TALK: Up to 4 idols can be invited to the home screen, and you can look around the left and right sides of the room with a swipe. Pressing and holding an idol on the home screen will transition to a talk screen.

STORY: There are two types of stories: one from a composer's perspective, and one from other perspectives. Private stories will be developed from the former perspective, while main stories, emotional pieces, and event stories will be in the latter perspective.

EMOTIONAL PIECE: Emotional Pieces can be obtained from piece gacha and events. You can level them up using items obtained in the rhythm games. By training them, you will unlock stories, costumes, voices, etc. The unlocked voices can then be enjoyed through home and talk screens.

MINIPRI: You can allocate up to 3 MiniPri per room. In addition to interiors that are permanently available, we also plan to develop interior series that can be exchanged for a limited time only.

The entire management team is working hard to create an app that is not only enjoyable to existing Uta no Prince-sama fans, but also aims to attract even more people to the joy of Uta no Prince-sama.
