remember that God wants to take you out of the darkness and show you how valuable and loved you are.

Senior year of high school I faced a deep and dark depression. Everything felt awful, nothing felt right, and it felt easier to give up than keep going—but there was one thing I knew for certain that gave me true hope. I knew Jesus loved me and died for me, and this restored my life with each day. Not only did this dark season of my life show me God’s faithfulness and love… it brought me closer to Him. I don’t know what my trust in Him would look like today had I not gone through that season. Not only did this season restore my life, but it brought my mother to Christ as well. In my darkness, I still clung to the Word, went to church, and was seeking Him out. My mom saw how I dealt with one of the hardest seasons of my life and took my pain upon her, which then in turn caused her to become curious about God and what His love truly offers us. She accepted Jesus, and I don’t know if that would’ve come about had my depression never been in the picture.

God works all things together for good my friends. If you feel you are at the end of your rope, cling to Him all the more. He is faithful to bring you through your difficult season!

Prayer can feel so daunting sometimes. And I hate admitting that, because my spirit knows it shouldn’t feel that way. But, if I’m honest with how my flesh is feeling, it often does. However, I’m reminded that our flesh is pulled in all different directions constantly, because that’s how this world works. And something so simple yet powerful such as talking with the Lord, can move mountains in my life. Jesus says in Matthew 17:20, “for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” God can use the smallest of things for good. He can use the simplest prayers for great impact. Prayer may feel daunting, but that’s a lie from the enemy because HE KNOWS what power there is in it!

For this reason, I must pray!!! And it doesn’t need to sound perfect, or be grammatically correct, or be long. God doesn’t want a powerpoint presentation, or a triple-checked and edited speech. Prayer is a conversation with the Lord that doesn’t end at “amen”… and I’m thankful to know that we can come to Him whenever and wherever—He listens and loves us.

Hii, how’s your heart? I just wanted to let you know that I’m so happy for you. I’ve been a follower since you were still praying to have a family of your own, and now that you have your own, I’m just so in awe of God’s goodness and sovereignty. Truly His plans are the best! Praying for you!

I am continuing to pray and trust God for my future husband and our future children. I am longing to meet him, whoever he is, but I know that He Who is faithful has the bestest and perfect timing. Please pray for me as well 🤍 thank you!

In just 3 years the Lord has taken me from the brink of giving up on relationships, love, and settling… to happily married, a mom to a baby boy, and another baby (girl) on the way.

He is so good. Don’t give up on His plans for you. His timing is perfect.

God Answers.

Me: I feel so ugly, fat, and worthless..

God: You're beautiful, the perfect size, and you mean everything to me.

Me: I'm just so worried, and I can't sleep.. I'm exhausted.

God: Give me all your problems, and I will give you rest.

Me: I'm dirty, rotten, and I'll never be able to fix my mistakes.

God: I forgive you, I accept you. Come, I will give you freedom from your past!

Me: I can't do this anymore! My heart is broken.. I give up.

God: Hand me every piece of your heart, and I promise I will fix it.

Me: Nobody ever notices me.. I just wish someone cared.

God: I notice everything, and nobody will ever care about you like I do.

Me: Nobody loves me, and they never will!

God: I died for you, and have loved you with an everlasting love.

I just want to say your blog is a blessing! I just got tumblr for the first time in like years and it's hard for me to try to find all the Christian blogs I used to follow! Would you have a reccomendation of godly Christian blogs to follow? :)

How do i get saved JESUS IS COMING SOON I WANT TO BE TAKEN WITH HIM I KEEP SEEING DEMONS AND HEARING THEM I FEEL LIKE THE LORD IS NOT WITH ME I WANT TO BE SAVED

start up a conversation with God in prayer!

admit you are a sinner & cannot save yourself

ask Him to forgive you of your sins & help you to live differently

proclaim Jesus as Your Lord & Savior

believe in your heart that He: lived a perfect & sinless life, died on the Cross for your sins, rose from the grave 3 days later

ask the Holy Spirit to come into your heart & change your life

live in communion with God through prayer, reading your bible, fellowshipping with other believers & living differently!
