Spring fits!

Fashionable? Not really. Cute? Always!

I got some new clothes this month, and my desk residents are showing them off.

I originally had Apolline in Tiana’s stuff, but she looked frumpy, so Ivy donated the outfit she was wearing and tried on a radical new shirt. Ruthie, being closest in time to Apolline and Claudie, is wearing Claudie’s travel dress. The outfit totally works for the 1930s.

On the left is Amicia, newly arrived and not quite ready for her debut. I’m trying to decide whether her walleyed look is endearing or irritating, but I liked how well the coat and hat went with her eyes. I’m a bit disappointed in the hat. It doesn’t hold its shape and it’s more of a bucket hat than Tiana’s cloche.

Shamsa is relatively moderately covered in an 80s sweater and Kira’s animal care outfit.

LaRae’s skirt is meant to be temporary, I want to make her a black pleated one to go over the too-skimpy shirt dress. It may be awhile though, because there’s a giant hole in my house that has to get fixed before I can unpack my other doll stuff including my other dolls. Most of my sewing stuff is packed too.
