This is actually something I realized as I write Trevor in my fic, 'Silver Lining'. He'll say something and then I'm there second guessing myself because why would he talk to Ian in such a way when he should more than understand the struggle that Ian is facing. He literally helps people with similar issues. He pushes when he knows it's difficult to talk about trauma.
This post actually makes me feel better that I might not be making him too out of character.
The Shameless writers really shot themselves in the foot when they made Trevor a social worker. Because when you think of all the terrible shit he did and said to Ian you just have to sit there and think that it kind of goes against his line of work. He’s pushy with Ian from the jump to get into a relationship; how many kids has he had to save from pushy people? He told Ian to just get over it and forgive his abusive mother; how many of those kids have abusive mothers who gave them the same half-assed apology Monica gave Ian? He shows no compassion towards Ian when he loses the mother he told him to forgive; how many of those kids lost their moms? He uses fat men to boost his ego; how many of those kids has he seen been used in the same way and has then had to comfort them? He benefited from Ian’s mania and didn’t once offer him help; how many of those kids have bipolar?
The writers really did screw over themselves when they decided to make Trevor woke, passionate about his cause, caring towards his kids because then it’s really hard to ignore how awful he can be.

I can write a whole 10 page paper on how "You'll Never See Us Again" by @spoonfulstar is one of the greatest Gallavich fanfics out there.
A whole page dedicated to everything it makes one feel because there are a lot of feelings.
It and she deserves more hype.

I can't imagine the exciting chaos that would happen if @gallavichy ever updated one of her fics or wrote a new fic one day.
But like expect me to be in the front of the line if that ever happens. Like I'm so ready. Now or even a few years from now. Might jump up and down at first, but after, I'd be so glued to my phone reading.

I just feel like they should have given someone who was trustable in the fandom a flash drive of all the unseen Gallavich scenes. Someone who would share the content slowly over time. You know instead of just erasing it all and having it burn down with the Shameless set.

My desk and computer have so many notes on my fic. Background info, little details to remember, important dates in the fic, ideas that I don't wanna forget.
Does anyone else's outline on their computer look a mess?

I love you. It means we take care of each other. It means thick and thin, good times, bad, sickness, health, all that shit.
