I already mentioned this on twitter, but when p3 reload comes out at the end of the week I plan to stay off my socials as I play. this isn’t to avoid spoilers, but moreso so that I can play the game without letting the masses influence my enjoyment of it (isn’t it crazy how p5 lowkey explores that whole phenomenon via mementos)

allowing that to happen a few years back (I was young and terminally online so ofc I knew no better) caused games like FE3H to leave a big sour taste in my mouth, and even today I can’t really engage (hah) with Fire Emblem as a whole anymore because it left that big of an impact on me.

And because P3 as a whole means a lot to me, I do not want a repeat of back then and end up… disliking the game, or worse. there’s no doubt gonna be some… High Quality Takes flying about now that so many will be able to experience the game more readily, and me? I will simply cheer you guys on from the comfort of my room, LMFAO
