In the f1 offseason I have picked footy back up for the first time since I was like 13 and my obsession with TAA is not healthy ( @hopefulromantic1 you’re not helping anything, I mean that with love) I’m slowly sinking back in, (I’m American and all my exposure has been from dating “soccer players” lol) BUT that being said if anyone would like to send some Trent requests please do. It’s been a while and I’m still reeling too, probably will be until he retires and beyond… it’s insanity… but yes the wedding fic is coming, life and family got in the way. It’s about 25k words atm and I want to put it out as one part but I’m definitely not done. I will be honest I thought I could promise something but with the way life has been recently I haven’t had the proper time to write and small spurts just aren’t the right way to truly tell the story. It will come, IK it’s been forever and I’m sorry. I wish this was my job but sadly it’s just a hobby. If you wanna lmk who you are anon I will happily tag you when the wedding chapter is out!

I’ve had like more than half a day to process it at this point but Lewis leaving Merc still feels like some beyond crazy fever dream… He’s been in the Mercedes family for what feels like my entire life. Something had to have gone down at Mercedes beyond the car not being up to par for the most loyal and committed man on the grid to part ways with what seems like a true family to him. I need the tea because there’s no way he switched up like that on a whim or without substantial reasoning. BUT at the end of the day I am a Lewis fan not a Merc fan so… FORZA FERRARI!!!

People always get butthurt when I allude to DTS hate and it’s not hate of those who became fans from DTS.. honestly, WELCOME!! It’s hate to those who form MASSIVE opinions without watching an actual race ever or are arguing with stats when they’ve barely watched a full season (painfully common). I don’t care how you got into the sport, I’m glad you’re here, but don’t over compensate. I’ve been watching f1 for about 20 years (time I remember, I’m sure I watched it as an infant lol) and the amount of times I’ve found myself on Twitter with new fans trying to argue with me about stats and records is insane (they’re blatantly wrong, quick Google search shows it). I grew up in Pro Motorsport (won’t go further into that now but my father works for a literal rally race team ((not f1 obvi, feel free to ask questions but I will be careful))) and f1 was a staple in our family from day one. Sundays were reserved for f1 when we were all home, my mom always made a special breakfast (scrambled eggs, Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, buttered white toast ((a treat, always wheat breast during the week)) and bacon,) and my dad would wake me and my brother up no matter the time of the race (middle of the night races were our favorite because dad would bring home chicken wings and then let us stay up as late as we wanted lol, so we could watch live) they then let us sleep as long as we needed as long as all 4 of us had watched the race. My brother and I loved the SCREAM of the f1 cars (keep in mind this was 15 years ago so it was still V8s ((literally nothing compares to that, it’s magical, you feel it in your soul)), so our parents always saved up so we could go to at least quali in MTL, always GA but always amazing. I started going to those before Lewis was even in f1 but the second he touched f1 my family decided he was the one (my dad and brother have problems sticking with anyone not actively winning) but mom and I have stuck with Lewis. My parents have divorced and my brother and I are full grown adults but my dad still gets us together for f1 quali in MTL as tradition (even tho I will say quality for fans has gone down at least in MTL over the last few years). So don’t come into my anons arguing with me about stats and genuine facts… I grew up in mechanics, racing, and auto sport (yes they are different things) and I’ve been watching f1 my entire life… I mentioned my cousin getting into f1 through DTS and the anons came flooding. She is at least getting into it with knowledge behind her, she understands a lot more of the racing than so many of the absolute trolls out there do, she’s just enjoying fast cars and pretty men. ANYWAY…….

hey do you know what happened with @justlewishamilton? They hadn’t been as active, I think they posted something about not knowing if they could support Lewis anymore due to the new influencer he’s been linked to (not sure if this is correct) and now the account is deactivated. It happened really fast, and I just wanted to make sure they were okay.

I’ve had quite a few asks about this today… I saw them post about no longer supporting Lewis but that they would leave up their stories. I don’t know what the final decision was but I can only assume they either got sick of messages from people or had enough of Lewis for personal reasons. I could be wrong but I believe they deactived at one point last year as well. I assume they’re okay but decided to step away because they are unfortunately no longer a fan… I wish them the best and I’ll definitely miss their stories

Shocked to announce I only lost one follower after my annoyance with MV in the Lewis tags last night 😂

I will say I love you all and if you do like both LH and MV that’s fine, I’m still glad you’re here. All I’m saying is I do want that man in my media more than is absolutely necessary and if something has nothing to do with Lewis, I don’t see the need to put his tags on there. This place tends to be an escape, and an escape from *him* is nice.

REAL! Like some of them are okay to me (like when it’s the full grid or Lewis plays some part in it) but when it’s straight up another driver entirely with no mention of Lewis… keep it away pls. Tag it under your driver and the f1 tags and the right people will find it, I promise. I’m just here for Lewis (and the Ferrari boys sometimes let’s be honest 😂). This is no hate toward anyone specific, just me getting annoyed every time I see a face that makes my stomach churn instead of my babe in his own tag 😂

dude. its fanfic. you want to complain about the irl person? okay, cool. you want to complain about people not tagging correctly? preach. love that for you. but people can take their controversial white boy and use fanfic to make him a better person. no one actually knows these people. most of us use the drivers like paperdolls or faceclaim. otherwise it’s weird as shit. cause these are real people.

You’re totally right that we use them as a faceclaim and don’t have anything to do with the actual person (hence why I always make it very clear at the beginning of my works that everything is strictly fiction). I’m not saying people can’t write MV fanfic, not at all! What I’m saying is it bothers the fuck out of me when those fics are tagged under things to do SPECIFICALLY with Lewis when the fic has NOTHING to do with him. A lot of LH fans (I won’t speak for all by any means) have a lot of bad feelings towards MV (for reasons so far beyond 2021) and I don’t enjoy scrolling through my fav drivers tag and seeing that face pop up as a happy lil love story 🤷🏻‍♀️
