Oh my god.......they're alive. And HE'S there.

Do final fantasy players know what his deal is. Do they know he's a desperately lonely and always slightly horny middle aged alcoholic trapped in the body of an off-putting dog. Do they know how happy he'd have to be to be isekai'd into Final Fantasy and captured by a bunnygirl adventurer.

Do they know he's so hilariously unpleasant that humans see him as possibly just a normal dog and he still got put in human jail for making women uncomfortable

These aren't complaints, this is the funniest fucking character a collectible monster franchise has ever had. if you play this final fantasy please give him as good a home as you feel he deserves

one time he bought booze for a child but really I think that one's on the bar for selling sake to what they thought was a dog

i know jawbone's whole thing is that he's turned his life around from the drugs and violence and all that.

#Psychonauts 2 #Undertale is another great pick but Psychonauts 2 really engrossed me #every stage was a delight to explore and the story had so many good twists to it #so much unhinged creativity and fun and angst

Went into Barnes and noble and found a monster love section. (Tiny, with most of it being taken up by Ice Barbarians) It's weird to see something so niche being in such a public place now.

I have been both loving and hating monster love fiction becoming more mainstream.

Loving because it shows that retailers and publishing houses are seeing that there is a substantial market for it.

Hating because most of what they do choose to send to market are still milquetoast offerings that miss the point. Like, yes, please send that Lovecraftian horror single-dad meet-cute with a substitute teacher who has to rediscover what love means! No, don't make it a mandate that the cozy/sexy-times can only happen if horror dad is in human-form!
