for you, the word “calm” was always an understatement for how you felt about enhypens upcoming concert. You were mortified when your friends cat had stepped all over your keyboard, making your vip 1 tickets disappear. The sudden urge to break everything in the house came, then the tears. You worked super hard for those tickets only for them to just disappear. You went to sleep that night, crying all of your makeup off.

Today was the day, the day out of this Month that you dreaded most. It was the concert that everyone had been waiting for, the concert that you lost your tickets to. You decided that instead of buying last minute tickets, you wanted to go to a restaurant in downtown la with friends that didn’t really care for enhypen or kpop alone.

You vented to your friend, but didn’t really care anymore as soon as the food came.

your friend was in the restroom for a god earful time, you were still eating your food. as you were about to take another bite you felt a tap on your shoulder.

you slowly turned around and did NOT believe what you saw. It was him. Nishimura Riki.

“I uhh… I thought you were really pretty so I came over to ask for your number? If that’s okay?”

You froze. Was Niki really asking you for your number?

You then realized that you froze for a long time. He looked a bit confused.

“are you okay?”

“Y-yeah…. Here you go.”

You exchanged phones, smiling at eachother soon after.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁:

𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: none, I cried while making this

making your way into this survival show sure as hell wasn’t easy. Pre-auditions, multiple monthly evaluations, just too much for you. You stuck to your promise with Niki when you told him that you’d make it to idol status with him. years of being a trainee at hybe, 3 years after Niki debuted, you finally made it onto a survival show.

First couple of episodes were hectic, your rankings were going up and down, repeating the same cycle for the next week or so. you fainted constantly off camera, working your ass off in the hybe practice rooms with other people that weren’t guaranteed a debut just like you.

there were 10 contestants left on stage, you began to grow nervous. there were five people to be picked, you didn’t know that you had the most votes out of everyone there. You hands became sweaty, your breathing became unsteady, you were shaking.

five people were slowly asked to leave, being eliminated in the final selection. You were last left on stage. Sure, this was for a five member girl group, but they could easily change it to four.

that’s when…. You heard your name being called to come up front with everyone else. You immediately fell to your knees, hot tears streaming down your face as confetti fell from the ceiling. Your future group members surrounded you with hugs, almost crying with you. It didn’t feel real. You didn’t think you’d even make it this far. When you were told you had the highest votes, you cried even more. You soon gave a speech, thanking the eliminated members for being so caring towards you.

The judges all left, all the fans left too. It was just you while your new members were celebrating back stage. You stood facing all those empty chairs, still in disbelief that you actually made it.

“I knew you were gonna make it.”

You turn around to see Niki, your number one fan since pre debut. you immediately ran into his arms, tears starting to form again.

He put his arms around you in response, petting your head.

“I….I did it… I can finally be with you now.” You said between sobs, hugging him tightly as if he was gonna go away anytime soon.

“anytime you need any help with dancing n stuff like that… I’ll be right here. With open arms.”

“you keep me open.”

If I ever get to hug him I will fully break down. I love riki sm.

the schools bells chimed, you were too tired to even move out of your sleep. You stood up and walked out of the classroom, fastening your school bag on your shoulder. you were still half asleep, trying to get some tea from the schools vending machine. That’s when you saw Riki, a boy that you personally thought was the cutest guy here. You were surprised at how you two even became friends. His presence fully woke you up.

“hey Niki! we still on for the Japanese lessons today?” You beamed, picking up your canned tea from the socket of the vending machine. “Why wouldn’t we be? We do this every Wednesday since school gets out early.” He smiled down at you, stealing your green tea from you.

Completely ignoring the indirect kiss that he just pulled, you both walked out of the school talking and laughing with eachother.

once you both arrived at his place, he let you in first, you took your shoes off and headed over to the living room to sit at the coffee table while he went to grab some snacks. He sat down, opening a bag of chips and his notebook.

“Today we’re only gonna learn one sentence. I’ve been wanting to teach it to you for a while.” he was on to something, but you weren’t catching on.

“Weird, but as long as I’m learning something.” You shrugged, taking a bite of your macaroon.

“Repeat after me.” He took both of your hands, looking you in the eyes as he sat across from you.

“daisuki da yo.”

{I really like you.}

“Daisuki da yo..?”

“Zutto issho ni itai.”

“Zutto…ish-o ni itai.”

You sat, confused. “What does it mean?”

he turned back around, popping a potato chip in his mouth with a smile. “Tomorrow, on the school rooftop, you’ll find out.”

niki and his other six friends stood in front of this huge school, completely in awe of the amount of fashion sense the other students had. some looked cool, others had nobody to impress and just wanted to go home. Girls gave them looks, some of them whispering to another. They didn’t really care though.

The first bell rang, the seven checked their schedules, smiles fading as they saw that they didn’t have first period together. They all went separate ways, looking for their classes.

The clock ticked, pencils wrote, teachers spoke, fingers tapped. it was all too boring, nothing like the movies. nobody made any jokes in the middle of any classes, not even third period where you’d think everyone would be wide awake. He wasn’t so sure about liking it here. To him it had already became boring. Then, lunch came. The seven friends found eachother, debating on where to sit. as they sat down they began to talk amongst themselves, niki poked at his food, being nearly disgusted at how greasy the schools pizza was.

Sunoo gave him a curious look, wondering why niki was so down in the dumps. “Niki, you okay? You keep poking at the… oddly greasy school food.” He asked, grimacing at the school pizza.

“I’m fine… today just didn’t go how I was expecting”

After a while of talking to Sunoo, he looked around the room, observing people. His eyes stumbled upon you, walking into the cafeteria with your friends. He could’ve sworn he saw a ghost. you were too pretty to even be a real person. His eyes stayed on you. It had almost seemed like his world turned slow, ‘I wanna know what love is by Foreigner’, playing from the schools speakers. You made eye contact with him, giving him a small smile.

context!⍣ ೋ your group had this show called the halo diaries, (your group name is halcyon) and your group was meeting enhypen today!! They were the ones that inspired you to even be where you are today.

☆- when your group walked in, enhypen was in the middle of practice, but they quickly came up to you guys and bowed, said greetings and some other things

★- you and niki made eye contact as soon as you saw eachother, bro was awestruck, Mesmerized, CAPTIVATED by your beauty.

☆- when they introduced eachother one by one, Sunoo had to punch his arm a little bit so he could get words out of his mouth😭

★-. while your group had came to teach them the choreo of your debut song ‘bubble,’ you constantly made eye contact with niki while teaching him the main chorus.

☆-after the halo episode was done, the staff had gone to go get food for everyone while you guys stayed back in the practice room. You and niki were a laughing mess about a joke that he told you (the joke wasn’t even funny, but it was so unfunny that it was funny)

★- at the end of the day, it was time to leave the hybe building for both groups. You and niki decided to exchange numbers, even following eachother on your secret accounts. He called you as soon as you got back to your groups dorms, asking if you’d be down to play Roblox

You had been getting interviews from left and right ever since you debuted under hybe. today was like any other, someone wanted to interview you. You were wondering why your entire group didn’t come along and the staff said the person interviewing you only wanted you there. Kinda creeped out, you still went. What you didn’t know, is that your best friend Riki was the one interviewing you. You haven’t spoken since his debut but you gotta say you’re proud of him. though you haven’t been able to talk, you were there for him throughout the years.

The staff had walked you into a building, blindfolding you in the process. You tripped up a couple of stairs, but made it to the top floor. They sat you down on a black chair and you remained calm, but confused. soon enough, a tall boy with dark ends of his hair walked in, smiling at you as if you could see.

you didn’t recognize who this man was. His voice was incredibly deep, you only asked a couple of questions such as “how old are you?” Or “do I know you?” All Riki had said was “we’ll get to that at the end.”

Riki had asked the same questions your group had been asked in multiple interviews, just a little kick to get you annoyed. But then, he asked if you had anyone that inspired you into doing what you’re doing now.

“well, I’m actually under the same label as him. His name is Riki but I guess he prefers to go by ni-ki now. I’ve been friends with his since his time on I-land since I was a trainee that happened to be helping on set at the time. We became inseparable. we stopped talking when he debuted though. His schedule was pretty busy and we NEVER got to talk.”

You let out a sad sigh, opening your mouth to talk again. “He was one of the people that really helped me with my homesickness, even if he was homesick too. We got around the language barrier pretty well since I was fluent in Japanese. That’s all though. I really hope I can see him again soon.”

riki could tell on your face that you looked pretty sad, he smiled at it though, knowing that you’re completely clueless as to what’s about to happen.

after some sappy answers to his questions, he finally told you to take your blindfold off. With a relieved sigh, you took it off, only to be met with rikis smile. That smile you had yet to see after 3 years. You remembered him, he remembered you.

Riki held his hand up to his ear with his pinky and thumb out, making a phone sound. “Ring ring! wassup y/nnie?”

letting out a laugh that he just had to hear again, you did the same thing as him, a smile never leaving your face.

“wassup riki?”

Currently thinking about….

being childhood friends with Riki and meeting again after you surprise visit him. The two of you grew up together and almost did everything, always attached to the hip and inseparable. While Riki was always dancing in his family’s dance studio , you’d watch him from the corner with a smile and cheer him on, compliment him or just play with your phone while occasionally watching him. To say it was heartbreaking to the two of you when he left to South Korea was an understatement yet you were proud of him for getting accepted and promised that you’ll keep cheering him on. On the day he left , he gifted you a necklace that was matching with his — his safety pin necklace and you’ve worn it since then.

Riki always missed you dearly , phone calls, texting or face timing wasn’t enough for him — he was longing to see you again in person , his other half , his soulmate , his first love but he knew that your family didn’t had enough money to pay for tickets to South Korea plus you were still a student. Little did he know that you’ve been working at a part time job and saved enough money to visit him. You had talked to his mom about it , asking if she could contact Jay to inform him that you’d visit and to keep it a secret — of course all the members knew about you , Riki could never shut up about you , always telling stories from your childhood or saying “This reminds me of (Y/n)..” when he’d see something he knew you’d like.

Once you actually stood in front of him , you were in awe — of course he didn’t know it was you yet since you had disguised yourself as one of the staff members (who also knew about your surprise visit) and were on the set for their “sweet venom” music video. He only realized when he got his photos taken , something had caught his attention — why did one of the staff members had the same necklace as him? He really thought he was dreaming for a second , maybe the sleep deprivation was getting to him? But his eyes were hopeful as he stared at you , the voices of the directors and his members being tuned out as he only had his eyes set on you.

His body reacted faster than he could think , almost running at full speed over to you once you slipped the mask off of your face — his long arms immediately wrapping around you as he held you tightly in his arms , afraid you’d disappear. He had gotten so tall , being even taller in person than he appeared on camera , your face buried in the crook of his neck as you stood on the tip of your toes and hugged him back. “I can’t believe it’s really you…”,he mumbled as he buried his face into your shoulder , you still smelled the same , the smell was like home to him. He completely ignored how his members and the staff members started to tease and coo at him , his attention completely turned to you . He was finally reunited with his first love , his best friend — even if you were only going to stay during your vacation, he’d make worth of the time and maybe gather the courage to finally confess his feelings for you.

☆He was so worried sick when he received your message that you had been send to the hospital ☆He kept fidgeting in his seat and his eyes kept shifting to the clock that seemed to tick even slower than usual as their Manager was explaining something to them ☆Used the bathroom excuse to get out of the meeting room and immediately called you. He got even more worried when you explained to him that you had passed out during work and woke up in the hospital bed — secretly blaming himself for not stopping you this working when you still had a fever. Apparently , due to your fever having risen as the hours passed, you had passed out and hit your head against the corner of a desk. He was relieved to know that it wasn't anything serious ☆Luckily , you didn't need to stay in the hospital over night so Heeseung immediately went to pick you up as soon as he exited the building. He kept taking care of you and literally didn't allow you to leave the bed unless you needed to use the toilet. Yes , his manager did get mad at him for suddenly requesting to take some day's off but Heeseung didn't really care , as much as he loved his Job — you were his number one priority

☆He didn't panic and appeared to be calm since he didn't want to make you panic or feel bad , but the worry was written clearly across as his face when he saw the blood dripping down your finger ☆The two of you were cooking together , you having used the knife to cut some vegetables but your hand slipped which resulted in you cutting your finger. Luckily , it was only a small cut but Jay was still worried ☆He'd grab your hand and walk you over to the sink , running your bleeding finger under some water before gently drying it and putting a band aid on it while gently scolding you for not paying attention ☆After that , he never let you use the knife again while he was around , worried that your hand might slip again and result in something more than just a cut

☆So worried and would immediately help you when he saw you tripping down the stairs. The building just got cleaned from the inside, floors getting swept and there was no "wet floor" sign so you let out a surprised yelp when you slipped and fell down the stairs ☆He'd check up on you and ask you if you were okay since you did just fall a whole flight of stairs down. He'd immediately panic when you say that you can't move your right leg and would call the ambulance ☆Jake knew that he'd get in trouble for this but his manager wouldn't get mad at him once Jake would explain why he didn't show up to practice and didn't answer his phone ☆You ended up fracturing your right leg and had to stay in the Hospital for some time. Jake would always visit you once he's done with practice and bring you flower bouquets together with snacks since he knows how much Hospital food sucks

Sunghoonੈ♡˳

☆Oh boy , he didn't even realize what was happening because it just happened too fast. He just looked away for one second before he heard the sound of you yelping ☆Sunghoon had taken you out to the ice rink since you had asked him to teach you how to properly skate on ice — well , he certainly didn't expect for some teenager to collide into you with full force and he cursed at himself for looking away for one second ☆Sunghoon scolded the teenager for not looking out for others while he's crouched down next to you , cradling you in his arms before checking up on you ☆due to the teenager colliding into you , the skates of his ice skates cut into your forehead and left a nasty cut — Sunghoon guided you out of the ice rink and sat you down on one of the bleachers , carefully bandaging it up and leaving a soft kiss on it. "I'm sorry that i looked away for a second.. if i hadn't looked away, this wouldn't have happened" (This actually happened to one of my friends before)

☆Honestly , he thought his heart stopped beating when he saw the ambulance in front of your Apartment complex and saw your apartment door open. He could feel his blood running cold in his veins , his mouth getting dry and the pounding of his heart was so hard that he could feel his chest moving with each pound ☆He'd immediately ask one of the paramedics what was wrong and who he was to you so they'd know that he wasn't a stranger to you — a weight was lifted off his shoulders when they informed him that you had just slipped in the bathroom and hit your head on something. Since the sound of you falling and hitting your head on something alerted your neighbors in the apartment next to you , they had called the ambulance but luckily , everything was okay with you ☆Sunoo immediately went into your apartment once he finished talking to the paramedic who had come out of your apartment and checked up on you , gently scolding you to be more careful and stop letting water drop onto your bathroom tiles to avoid having this happen again

Jungwonੈ♡˳

☆Jungwon's first reaction was to laugh out of surprise when you accidentally tripped over his feet before he'd help you back up and ask if you were okay. Honestly , he didn't notice it at first and neither did you — you only noticed after you took your pants of to change into some sweatpants that you had a scraped knee and that the material of your jeans was kind of messed up on the area were your knee would've been ☆Jungwon only looked up in confusion when you just walked out of the bedroom only wearing your panties and his shirt , slowly getting up to follow you since you'd normally put some pants on before walking out of the room since the hallways were kind of chilly ☆Once he spots you in the bathroom reaching for the first aid kit , he'd ask you what's wrong and make an 'Oh' sound once he sees your scraped knee. He'd tell you to sit down on the sink counter and would clean your wound for you before putting a band aid on. Not gonna lie, he feels kind of guilty since you tripped over HIS feet which caused you to fall and scrape your knee in the first place (even if it was technically your fault for not looking where you were going)

Ni-kiੈ♡˳

☆Riki knew you were clumsy...but he didn't expect you to be so clumsy (which he doesn't mind btw , he'll gladly be your knight in shining armor...just that he didn't react quick enough this time) ☆Riki and you were in Japan , visiting his Family and he decided to take you to the dance studio his Parents owned to teach you some choreographies from their songs. Little did he know that you actually had two left legs and tripped yourself ☆Of course , he did try to catch you but ended up falling with you and headbutting you. It was painful for the two of you but you guys laughed about it. He noticed that by the next day , a bruise had formed on your knees and on your arms and kissed them while you were napping next to him (he'd never tell you that).
