the first video game came out in the 50s, Eddie was very much a video game player. i think he'd def prefer tabletop bc of the creativity and control, but Eddie absolutely owned a secondhand atari and played frogger until he had to stop himself from crying out of frustration bc he was bad at it

like, the first zelda game came out a month before eddie died and he very much was as dedicated to playing it as he was learning master of puppets, which came out barely three weeks before his death
