Nathaniel: you killed my father. i hate you. i literally hate you. i came here to kill you but i’d settle for robbing you. looking at your face makes me angry. i would rather be hanged than be near you.
new grey warden recruit: is it true that wardens usually can’t have children? is that hard to live with?
warden-commander, running on two hours of sleep per day ever since they agreed that zevran could resolve that particular problem by using vigil’s keep to store an increasingly absurd number of “ethically sourced” antivan half-trained assassin children: you know, we get by
My most sincere thanks to the artist who illustrated this scene from Farrah Rochon's Almost There for the Twisted Tales coloring book
No, for real, Tiana and Naveen look so beautiful, you're my hero!
Oh yeah, i found out this week that disney released a coloring book with illustrations from their Twisted Tales series!
Not to mention I also just found out there is an anthology book with new "what if" stories and, yes, there is a new princess and the frog one i read and it is so good!!!!! But that is a subject for another post!
When I'm feeling depressed I go to my happy place.
The happy place in question:
I always find comfort when re-playing this quest as a dalish warden. The way the others make sure that you are welcome in their home. I kind of never felt anything like that when playing as another origin (city elf is close to this experience but when you meet Shiani, she tells you that your dad and others has been kidnapped by slavers). When you play as a human noble, all you get is a little bit of recognition from the Fereldan nobilty but that is all. When you go back to Orzammar with Dwarven wardens there really isn't much of a welcome and don't get me started on the Magi origin...
Anyway what I initially wanted to say is that these NPCs are making me feel like I'm home and they are one of the things that bring me joy when I'm feeling down.
heya people! my first post here so be gentle with me lol. I'm Figs, jsut another nerd obsessed with Elder Scrolls, particularly with Vivec. hope to see you all more lol
Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.
