eventually you realize you don’t want to die. you just don’t want to live the life you’re living. and slowly you try to create a life you want to live. just gotta start there.

I've heard of people having a picture of themselves in their head that exaggerates their insecurities and makes them think they look worse then they really do. But for as long as I can remember I've had this mental image of myself in my head that looks like a completely different person (who I find absolutely stunning), so its usually quite disheartening to see myself in photos and walk past my reflection where I look much worse then I think I do when I can't see myself....is this a thing? Is this a form of body dysmorphia?
This version of me in my head is also a cooler person and whenever I imagine my future its them living it and they don't have the issues holding them back that I have. It makes planning my future confusing because what I plan for her would never work for me, not realistically...

have you ever noticed you pick up little habits and phrases from the people you love? it’s no wonder our hearts are so easily broken when people leave. we become a reflection of the people that we care about and those personality traits stick with us even if the people don’t
