Thanks to your posts I'm progressing a lot in drawing body. I was struggling with arms positions. Your posts helped me by understanding what I was doing wrong. Thank you a lot :D
That’s awesome to hear! Glad it was helpful!

I love your references please don't stop
Gosh I'm sorry. At some point I'm going to get back to this but I don't have nearly as much free time as I thought I was going to when I started this. It's not dead just.. on hiatus I suppose.

are the references you are doing only human? or are you going to do other diverse refs? like animals, fish etc. ? Love your blog alot btw.
Right now just human anatomy when I can find the spare time. If that gets really boring or after I've built up a sizable index I might branch out, but for now its just people.

Will you cover musculature too or just keep doing what your doing?
For now I'm just gonna keep doing what I'm doing. I'm not exactly an expert on the human muscular system haha.

Hey, i don't know if you would be abl;e to make something where the face is kind of angled and tilted SLIGHTLY upward, in kind a proud, dramatic, "looking down on you" sort of position?
I plan on doing a series of heads. I'll keep that pose in mind when I get around to it.

great idea for a reference blog! I thank you so much!!! I was wondering could you do head/neck? I think drawing the head at different angles and turns (aside from the basic front, side and 3/4 view) can be difficult for most. Thank you :)
That's a high priority. I struggle with head/neck/shoulders areas as well.

Hey MelsRefs! I want to say that thank you so much for making this blog, and although it's quite a new blog, the three posts posted are already very helpful for me! I saw in your post concerning tags, and I was wondering whether or not you can make something of legs? Thank you so so much if you could do that!
Thank you and your welcome! I haven’t updated it much lately because I’ve been busy with this semester of school and since (before today) no one really knew about it I felt no rush. But I suppose I should get back to filling it out. I had a couple of other hand/arm refs sketched out, but once those are up I’ll move to legs.

(Keep in mind not all of these have references associated with them yet. This project is a large work in progress. If there's a specific body reference you need feel free to request it and I'll try to make it a priority)

About
This blog is for anatomy references I've drawn in order to aid artists and animators. All of them are completely anatomically correct. The method I use to make these references involves taking video of a moving body part, capturing frames from it, and sketching over it in order to make the anatomy easier to grasp and understand. This is going to be a long process- a library of references to be built up over time.
