The new Venom trailer has me thinking a lot of things.

But what I want to focus on is that, when Venom nopes out, the moment he sees Carnage, he goes back into Eddie, indicating that he feels safe inside him, despite the fact that Eddie reasonably can do jackshit about Carnage. And he decides to go back into Eddie instead of kidnapping his body, unlike the first movie.

The other thing is, that it feels very symbolic for Venom to fight Carnage. Like, to me it seems like Carnage represents the anger and bloodlust inside Venom and having to face that, having to face the parts of yourself you don't like is tough. Tougher even than betraying your entire race :D

But I'll readily admit, it might not be that deep bro and I'd just like there to be more meaning than there actually is.
