ok ive been trying to think of a perfect first question for MoV, but its soooo haaaaaaard i have either silly or spicy asks lol, ok maybe-

Does First Ninja still have the bonding scar? I know you said it was a permanent bite mark, but i meant like in the 'spirit' realm of Ninjanomicon, since technically First Ninja doesn't have a body there? If he does, does it mean that First Ninja is marked spiritually as well (soulmates mayhaps??)?

And if he does, does the scar give him extra senses (wink-wonk) when it comes to Chase? Like, he could feel Chase is still alive, or when he is near? (or very near ;) winkwinkwink)

love the au, its very fun to read! seriously thank you, for feeding my obsession with them <3 (secret trio stuff is a nice bonus too!)

Oh First absolutely still has the bonding scar.

First still has the scar because it affects both his soul AND his mortal body (so yes, technically soulmates).

As for extra senses... well that's the reason why Chase hasn't gone mad when First decided to disappear off of the world. When mated, a dragon can sense if their connection with their mate is severed or not. They can also track down their mate.

A connection can only be severed when their mate is truly out of existence, aka soul and body go bye bye.

(Just to be clear, this is the difference between soul, spirit and ghost in this AU;

· Soul — the living form of spirit, basically you're still alive but just had an out of body experience.

· Spirit — a soul whose mortal body is dead, they are either in heaven or hell. In some special cases, they are able to walk on to the mortal realm.

· Ghost — a spirit in a purgatory-like state, they aren't able to ascend or descend because of their grudge being too much or because they are greatly attached to something/someone in the mortal realm. Can only ascend/descend when the attachment/grudge is gone.)

It still didn't stop Chase from going through 10 stages of grief and a short-lived denial when he wasn't able to track him anymore. You wouldn't believe how happy? relieved? grateful? he got when he realized that First is still alive.

He really tried finding him, confused on where the hell First Ninja is and how he's this out of bounds.

When he saw future ninjas roaming around, he really doubted First for his fidelity. Definitely short lived when found out that no, he didn't have any bitches before him (insert the loudest sigh of relief ever).

Dragons can only have ONE TRUE MATE. Once they have marked someone, they can never experience rut again and they won't be able to mark someone ever again.

When a mate has the bonding scar, they subconsciously give off the aura of the giver(dragon), symbolizing who they belong to. Meaning that if they ever come across some magical creature, the scar's aura is literally telling the poor creature to fuck off. The mate can be either aware of this aura or not.

This aura has a pro and con.

Pro: If the giver is a very powerful/influential person, you best believe they're going to leave you alone. A powerful dragon's aura can sometimes emit a very heavy air that can kill if one had been on the same area as their mate.

Con: Each dragon has their own unique aura, if the enemy somehow knew that a certain dragon (especially if they're influential) has marked someone they hate/doesn't have the best of reputation, they'll take advantage of it. So it's best if the giver is old enough that they can hide their aura on their mate to save them from a lot of trouble.

[I just imagine that after the First Ninja got marked, every yokai and monster that had once tried to pester his village just scatter the moment they see him (He isn't aware about the aura).

He appreciates their avoidance but he doesn't know the reason why and it's certainly worrying, even more so when he noticed that even the Sorceress started to distance herself away from him during their fights.]

Dragons have their own unique kind of bonding scar and aura, though they usually differ in terms of STATUS and AGE.

STATUS

-If the giver came from a well-known clan/lineage, the bonding scar may look a bit more flashy (bright tone, glows in the dark, glitters etc.).

-But if the giver isn't that well-known, the bonding scar isn't that eye-catching and more simpler in design (still has a few unique symbols, might glow in the dark but only in rare cases).

Dragons are able to emit a bonding bite at the age of 20 (kind of like very early puberty for dragons). Dragons live a very long life, so 20 is like, a newborn age to them.

AGE

· Young (20-100 yrs old) — small/human-sized bite, barely noticeable with very little symbols to indicate uniqueness. But the problem is that the giver can't hide the scar and their aura.

· Adult (100-300 yrs old) — a normal sized bite (depends if they are on their dragon/human form), it's quite noticeable as the symbols are now flashy enough that if one were friends with the giver, they would recognize them by their bonding bite when they see it. The giver can hide the scar but the aura still lingers on.

· Old (300 yrs old to present times) — a large bite but the size of it can be controlled. The symbols are a bit more grandeur and bright, their aura is massive and the killing kind. Because of that perk, the giver can now hide both the scar and the aura.

Chase, when he marked First, is on the Adult age back then (he was probably 213 yrs old when they had sex). But! A scar grows along with its giver, meaning that now, the scar is in the Old category of the mark.

(Just to be clear, Chase is currently 1000 yrs old. First Ninja and him met during 1213, therefore Chase should probably be 213 yrs old back then.)

On a side note, Chase is a really honourable and generous lover. Usually, when a dragon had marked a mate, they would assume all dominant roles, wanting to control their mate and whatnot.

Chase, though having the dominance in the relationship, still gave First some control over him, which in dragon culture, is a show of serious trust. ("I can't treat you as property if I'm also your property." Chase's words)

First doesn't know he had given Chase his mark, which is one of the things the lizard hybrid protects the most (they are both on equal standing in terms of magic, so just like dragons, people like First have their own unique marks made of magic).

There's more information about my AU's dragon marriage/culture and how dragon bonding works but I'm still finding a way to express my lore more clearly in a simpler way (aka drawing, for me).

The Norisu Village Children Asks...

In the peaceful village of Norisu, lives the First Ninja, the ruler of said village. Loved by all of the citizens, he was hailed as the strongest and the wisest by the people.

He often helps the village to keep it up and running, doing hard labour as any of them were and stopping fights from breaking out. Because of his efforts, many seek of his knowledge of certain things.

"And that's why we should ask him about everything he knows! Come on now, most of the elders don't really know how to open up to us, I'm sure he's way more knowledgeable than them!" A kid in a blue kimono said.

"And that's why we don't ask him useless questions when we see him, remember? It would waste his time-" "Look! He's here!" a girl in an orange kimono was cut off by the sight of the First Ninja.

The kid in blue kimono ran up to him, his friends catching up as the kid began to fire questions at the heir of the Norisu Clan.

The First Ninja, while shocked at the sudden questioning, replied calmly at the kid, which in turn, made his friends comfortable enough to also ask their own questions.

Eventually, they had to stop, either due to them being called back to work or because they have other places to be.

"Bye First-sensei, we'll be back again tomorrow! And Scary-sensei too, I guess."

The kid in blue kimono softly whispered the last part, after which he got hit in the back of the head by the girl in orange kimono who scolded him. The kid with orange hair held hands with the meek girl in yellow kimono, opting to say their goodbyes with respect and grace.

"Those youths would come back to bother you again by tomorrow, and surely everyday if you let them keep this up." Chase looked at the First Ninja.

"They are at the age of curiosity, besides, if these youth are keen to know more about the world and village we live in, I suppose I could grant them the knowledge I have and let them pass it down to future generations." The lizard hybrid spoke no word, thinking of no comebacks.

"And surely you aren't offended by the fact that you were labeled as 'Scary-sensei', are you?" First chuckled, earning him a prideful denial from Chase, continuing their walk as the warlock began to pester the First Ninja for his accusation.

Secret Trio + Detentionaire Physique HCs

Randy Cunningham

-he gains scars/wounds due to the suit not always being able to sense an attack quickly, thus not being able to register enough magic shield(?) to protect him (it ain't a robot y'all)

- because of his scars, he mostly skips getting dressed at the boy's locker room during Gym class

- he dresses at the bathroom stalls, though there are times when either Bucky or Julian had caught him shirtless in the bathrooms, they quickly learn to shut their mouths once they realize that "oh shit, this guy has lots of scars, might beat us up if we say anything"

- most of his scars are caused either because of incisions, scratch marks (Tengu!Howard's claws) or those black and blue bruises/blunt trauma because he keeps getting flung onto the walls

- there are burn marks scattered on his torso due to the incident; one time, Jake lost control of himself and turned into a feral dragon because of some drug he inhaled, wasn't a very good time for both parties.

- there's two large scratch marks on both side of his hips because of Danny, who wasn't able to control obsessive urges as a ghost, thanks a lot Vlad, you traumatized them both

- he doesn't have the broadest shoulders but he has pretty damn good legs

- is very flexible

- he does gymnastics and acrobatics on a daily basis

- broke the school record of having the highest jump - his legs are far more muscular due to him always kicking at his opponents

- man has thighs for days

- he has excellent grip strength

- he managed to crush a watermelon using his thighs, go figure

- on a side note, the reason why his chest (specifically, where his heart is) is bare of any scars is because that is his sensitive spot

- the skin on his chest is very thin, so he tries his best to dodge an attack or at least lead the scar somewhere not near his heart

- there are times where his scarf is used against him (ie. choking, to swing him around) so he has faint marks of strangulation around his neck

- very docile than the others

- which is why has longer legs

- he excels more at meelee combat, his weakest is ranged combat

- the Nomicon taught him martial arts; karate, judo etc., which very much amplified his leg power

- you see those heightened senses he has? Yeah let's abuse that.

- he's not that sensitive (he can still enjoy loud parties and crap) but there's a limit to it.

Danny Fenton

- he can only gain wounds/scars when he is on his human form, though there are times when villains had been able to slip through that slit of a moment and managed to damage him while transforming in/out as the Phantom

- his scars mostly consist of large burn marks, chemical burns (from handling ectoplasm as a human), incisions and blunt trauma

- is the only one that have chemical burns

- the large gash on the right side of his torso is from the time when a yokai was able to slash him when he was transforming into the Phantom

- it was also the first wound that Randy was able to heal using the Art of Healing (feelings ensue~)

- he earned some scratch marks from Tengu!Howard, who clearly doesn't like him (he still doesn't know why that roasted chicken hates him, but damn well he does he enjoy teasing the guy)

- has the broadest shoulders

- bro doesn't pull his punches, LITERALLY!

- he has way bigger hands than Randy and Jake

- he punches more than he kicks, thus earning him a pretty heavy fists

- I feel bad for the human that would be unfortunately in the way of Danny's punch

- his biggest achievement is being able to knock down Biffy with his punches in just 10 seconds

- Biffy still hasn't forgiven him for that

- is trying to not get scars on his face due to the fact that his parents had once suspected him of being a gangster when they saw the little scar on the left side of his chin

- thankfully Jazz is able to cover up for him (I mean, getting that scar from shaving? Please)

- his weak spot are definitely his face and legs

- his legs are not the most steady due to him getting way too used to flying, kick him hard on the ankles and he'll fall immediately

- most chemical burns are seen on his hands, he got them from when ectoplasm would sometimes leak out of some Fenton weaponry (most notably, the Ecto Foamer) and he wasn't able to notice it as a human

- the strangling scar on his right wrist came from the long hours of getting cuffed in Ghost Prison, it was so bad the scar stayed even on his human form (he managed to escape but it still hurt y'know)

- his skin color is somewhat pale-ish tan

- since he's half dead, his wounds either don't heal or just heal very slowly, that's why he's careful not to get hit

- on the occasion that he did get a wound but his body wasn't able to heal it, he'll ask Randy for his Art of Healing

- he excels on both hand-to-hand and ranged combat, he has far more experience with guns/laser guns but he still takes lessons of gun handling from Lee

Jake Long

- most of his scars are found on his chest

- his scars include burn marks, scratch marks (Howard! Really?!), strangulation marks on both wrists and neck, a cauterized wound and incisions

- has the most burn marks than anyone on the trio

- the scratch marks from his arms came from his habit of scratching himself when trying to hold his anger

- my man still keeps getting picked on because of his height

- because of his recent molting, there are still dead skin flaking off of him, especially on his back

- the cauterized scar he has is something he both has good and bad memories to; when Jake lost control of himself as a dragon, he literally had to be put down in order to have Lee just treat his wounds, sadly the bandages weren't enough so they had to cauterize the wound using his OWN flame, at least Randy was comforting him through all that

- y'know kung fu, yeah he mastered that

- is very flexible in using both his hands and feet to fight AS a human

- in Dragon form (s1 design bc wtf is that shit from s2), he's a bit more feral as animalistic urges kick in

- it's because of that kind of behavior that he sometimes run straight into danger, earning him all kinds of wounds

- he has stitches all over his back because he got whipped one too many times at the auction incident (he still gets the chills everytime he thinks about it)

- it's also because of that incident that he gained strangulation marks on his neck and wrists because they treated him like an animal, cuffing him and all that

- to get those muscles, he went through a training arc

- you think Howard hating Danny is bad, well check out these two

- Howard and Jake are like, two pets that are fighting for their owner's love (or attention, Howard isn't going to touch that garbage fire called the Ectoham x Longham relationship)

- the moment Randy turns around, they are fighting all over the place, thus having the most scratch marks

- his weakness is his height, surprise surprise!

- when he's on his human form, it's hard to land a hit on an enemy who's clearly way taller than you

- when he's on his dragon form, his big height often causes him to trample or not be aware of unnoticeable traps

- he also can't balance himself when in dragon form, especially when he flies since his wings aren't the type to be able to easily dodge obstacles (it's just hard to make an adjustment when it's a sudden decision and you're up in the air)

- because he breathes literal fire, he always has a hot temperature, those who knew him just let's it be it but when other people touch him, they would question if he has a fever

- his appetite is very big because... energy, the problem is that he has very high metabolism, so while he looks malnourished, he's actually taken what, like 2 boxes of pizza a minute ago (and about to take another one right now, dammit Spud, you're wasting too much money)

- have the sharpest nails there is, mostly likely because of his dragon form has it that it also integrated to his human form

- despite not being able to balance himself AS a dragon, he actually does quite well AS a human, being able to stand on poles/tightropes and shit

- those meditation lessons from his Gramps really did help huh

- he excels at hand-to-hand combat

Lee Ping

- he doesn't get that many scars since he doesn't fight opponents as much as the Secret Trio

- but when he does get a wound, it's mostly just blisters, on some cases, he would have burn marks or incisions

- since he always crawls through vents or tight spaces, he always has blisters skidded all around his arms and legs

- the burn marks came from when he would accidentally get hit from those robot's laser guns on Detentionaire (do they even have a name? But seriously, they hurt like hell, believe him)

- the large stitch across his torso is a very painful memory to look back on (he got captured by Cassandra and was about to get experimented on since he has the power to nullify any and all mind control, he was cut open and was about to be dissected when Biffy, Cam and Holger had caught up to him and set him free from there operating table, the other surgeons got killed while Cassandra got away)

- there are faint scratch marks on his shoulders BUT that is due to the tazelwurm sometimes sheathing it's claws on him accidentally (thank you Howard! Wtf did this guy do to you?)

- by far the most slimmest out of everyone in the group

- which is good because he's got to fit into those tight spaces to do "Lee Ping Spywork"

- can do basic gymnastics

- he's learned some basic and advanced self defense from the Serpent/Li, since he thought it would be useful if his younger brother can beat the shit out people when necessary

- the tallest (not including Biffy) out of the group

- has a scar caused by a stab wound somewhere in his right leg caused by Kimmy when she got transformed into some vicious tazelwurm hybrid, she got killed by Holger but he didn't know it was her (those who knew aren't planning on telling him that he just killed a person or he'll freak the fuck out)

- Biffy doesn't know she got killed, Lee isn't telling that information unless he wants a Biffy going nuts all over the place

- only him and Brandy know about Kimmy's death

- he can fence, he picked it up again when he saw the Secret Trio trying to train with long bladed weaponry so he tried to get some experience in being able to wield a weapon

- handles guns way better than the Secret Trio

- has the weakest punch, they all make fun of him for that

- he is the group's healer, he knew first aid very well and he isn't afraid stitch and treat a wound that is way too tender for the Secret Trio to heal

- he only knew how to stitch wounds because he experiments on his body (would it close if I do this kind of stitch? How about here, is it thin enough?)

- because of his experiments, he isn't able to register pain anymore, his poking and prodding at his skin nullified any jolt of pain

- wears gloves on his left hand because there is a lichtenberg scar on it that is colored toxic turquoise green, he ain't letting Barrage see that and be reminded of the pyramid incident

- which glows when the pyramid subconsciously gives him a power boost or something (heightened strength and senses)

- at first he tried to cover it with bandage but since it glows, it didn't work so they settled on the black glove

- excels in ranged combat

Yashiki being caught by a ghost while trying to hurry away to buy him more time to satisfy the grudge. The ghost pulling him back closer by his ankles, before spreading his legs wide and fucking him through his pants. Date Night at Ghost Town

It wasn't often that his mentee, Randy, would invite him to do little activities such as fishing inside the Nomicon, such moments he appreciates as it reminded him of the peaceful memories he once had back at the living world.

When Randy had intivited him to come with him at the Celebration of the Founding of Sanctus Civitas in the Ghost Realm, he couldn't believe at what he was being offered to. "A trip to the Ghost Realm?" He asked.

The teen then replied, "Yeah, Danny invited me and Jake to come with him to the Ghost Zone for the celebration. Since you're some kind of spirit or something, maybe you could also have a chance to go there? I mean, it's gotta be kinda wonk to be lonely inside this book."

The First Ninja denied Randy's invitation at first, skeptical as he finds it nonsensical but also dangerous, given that he is the very foundation of the Nomicon. Should he be absent from his duties, he feared that an unexpected force would invade at a time of weakness, something of which he wouldn't allow.

Yet, even PlopPlop started to bug him about the boy's invitation, finding it weird that his ally had also approved of the boy's attempt. Eventually, he decided to go, finding it hard to resist two of his people and their charm to annoy to him.

As he tries to find an appropriate attire to wear, he discovers an elegant robe from back when he was alive, a kimono that dates back to the Kamakura Period. A gift from his fourth brother, a craftsman at heart.

On the day of the celebration, he, along with Randy his friends set off to the Ghost Realm, finding themselves in a dense forest with a jagged dirt pathway. Following the path, they reach the marble stairs, climbing up as they were greeted by a Torii Gate with two bells hanging on each side.

Ringing the bell four times on each bell while citing a chant that guarantees their entry, they soon were able to enter through the gate and into the celebration. The place was brimming with energy, hundreds of ghosts, spirits and souls running around around having fun.

The setting was beautiful, a dreamy dawn accompanying it. It was like a mix of a fairground and a ceremony, which would happen later that night as the procession of the Hyakki Yagyo would happen later that night. Stalls of food and games were placed left and right, attracting attentions of passerbys.

As he was about to ask the boys about his purpose in this, he was confused to find him, the warlock. Snarling, the First Ninja asked "What are you doing here?". The warlock chuckled, "Oh my, ask your kid, he did set us up for our date". Eyes twitching, he turned around to find Randy and his friends smiling, telling them to have fun as they ran away to enjoy the event.

Sighing, he faced Chase as the lizard hybrid held out his hand, "May I accompany you?". He begrudgingly accepted, knowing damn well that he himself won't be able to disagree.

Randy, while walking with Jake and Danny, smiled as his plan worked. He had planned it since the day he realized both their feelings are mutual, just way too stubborn and prideful to recognize them. He pleaded PlopPlop to go along with his plan, which after many attempts and bribery, he finally agreed.

Jake had been able to contact Chase, it wasn't hard considering that their main topic would be about the First Ninja, but what was hard was to convince the lizard hybrid that none of what they were planning is a trap.

The two heroic teens had known about their guardian's feelings about each other for a long time, even more so when they received the news that they were practically married. Grimacing at their pining, they planned to get the two to spend time with each other to work out their feelings.

When Danny had gotten an invitation to the Celebration of the Founding of Sanctus Civitas, they knew it was their chance to set the two immortal men on a date, letting Danny in on the plan as they tried to make their invitation look natural.

"Hey Randy, I know you set this up and shit for a long time, but come on! Let's enjoy the event, man!" Jake exclaimed.

"Hold on a minute, gotta take a picture of this." Pulling a camera out of his pocket, he placed it at the direction of the two immortals who were walking by the crowd, zooming in and pressing the button as it emitted a flash.
