Lip butter for the driest or seasons! . Also new to the shop is the Peppermint Lip Butter from @abundant_balm! . I’m not a makeup gal. Not my thing. That includes lip balm. But this is on another level. I wear it at night and my lips feel absolutely fabulous the next morning and I personally think it keeps my lips from drying and cracking even if they’re on the verge already! . Artisan-made and handcrafted in small batches, this lip butter is my go-to! They have other flavors (or is it “scents”?)but the peppermint is my absolute favorite so it’s what I’ve added to the shop! I’ve been using @trevathangoat’s Goat Milk Soap for a couple of years at this point. It’s made by an artisan who curated heaven on earth for their goats and uses the milk to make the most luxurious bar of soap I’ve ever used. Each time I’d order a bar it would come with the names of which goats contributed the milk for that batch and I wanted to know more. I reached out to them about carrying their soap in the shop simply because I love it so much! . Goat Milk Soap

Made with goat milk and natural ingredients, Trevathan Goat bar soap is luxuriously soft, cleans with a moisturizing lather, and smells fantastic from carefully balanced essential oils and raw ingredients.

The recognizable ridged top makes it easy to hold whether at the sink or in the shower. Plus its reminiscent of the a goat’s hooves or horns, each of which lives their best goat life at the Trevathan Farm in rural Georgia and is credited for their contribution to each bar of soap.

I’m a sucker for a good deal. But I’m trying to work on reframing my perspective toward it. I can rarely afford to do sales and when I do they’re small. Does that make my work less valuable? No! Sure, it’s exciting to get a discount on something I was going to buy anyway but if I keep glorifying the deal itself, it takes some of the value of the item, implying that I wouldn’t have bought it at full price and consequently minimizing the work that went into it. I love a good buy but it’s not the end-all-be-all. I can’t afford to run lots of sales so I should expect my own favorite companies to have them either.
