There’s no Place quite like home.
Home was not a thing for some of us. Parents were separated and struggled with their addictions. Along the way i moved from one house hold to the next every year to two years. Never having that feeling of home.
As I got older the feeling of home became some places and people.
Finding home in someone is a genuinely scary thing. A struggle because you hold all your hopes and dreams in them. Wishing for the ‘forever and always’ outcome.
Is having a big heart, one that loves deeply, a sign of weakness or strength in this world?
Or tacked on trauma based bonding with a side of attachment issues?
Of the mockery.
